If they trade down, maybe, but huge risk at 9. Unless he is the second coming of Julio - which there is nothing saying he is remotely close to that - then you have to take a safe, plug-and-play starter on the O or Dline.

I doubt we'll have a top 12 passing offense and right now our top 2 RB's are over 30. I definitely think our 3rd RB could get a lot of snaps. Also, our OL is average. There is not a single probowl caliber player there. Still, that's a big improvement.
No one knows any of the above as of April 16th, 2019.

If we have a good/great Oline and a top 12 passing offense, I don't really care who RB 2/3 is.

I can't believe the NFLPA likes (and/or campaigned for) the setup of 'Phase One.'
It's basically stretching, and the offense playing catch. Defense will just be high-fiving and slapping butts all day. They can't even touch a ball per the rules. That is just silly.

So....the guy who struggles to change direction when he knows where he’s going, will be a CB????
Stop throwing science in our face. He's a natural CB

He'll get signed by a team that is trying to tank.

Yeah...Quentin Nelson was a huge reach...
For every 1 Quentin Nelson, I'll give you 17 Joshua Garnetts.

Not sure about him at 9 if he projects as a guard. Too rich. For me the only linemen you spend a top 10 pick on is a legit LT - can maybe be talked into a RT,

I'll take it , better than the usual bottom of the barrel.
I honestly just hope the law of averages is actually a real law as it relates to getting a high-end QB.

He better get real chummy with Cole (or anyone over the intermediate middle of field).
Daboll should be able to dial up vertical routes and make the LB's respect Allen's legs and then there should be gaping holes in the D over the middle and RB wheel routes. If he can hit those passes it's going to be a fun offense for once.

I tend to hate a trade up for anything but a QB, but I just don't see Beane drafting 10 players.

TBD
He created the salary cap dead money issue. He threw away 2018 season and dismantled first playoff team in 17 years
He is partially complicit in the QB situation to start 2018.
His first FA class was terrible
The best player on the team was chosen by McD/Whaley
I love Allen and Beane's fate is sealed with him
This is it. Great QB's make for great GM's. Excellent QB's can hide a lot of roster warts.

You can have 90 guys at training camp and I think they want as many kicks at the can with all of these lower-risk/lower-cost OLinemen to get the "best 5". They will end up cutting some of these guys.

At this point, let them win the whole thing. Not a single person will question the titans of all teams having such a rabid fanbase ?
Exactly...they don't even have twitter in Tennessee

I hate that man. Only Tom Brady can actually win April 1st.

They either need to become a true minor league with team affiliations or it's doom.

There is just so little defense in that conference...

Just sayin’ but AB as a Bill would have been bad. Too much percentage of cap and one bad game and he would cry about it.
-
I tend to think he’d be a top 2 pick and prob first QB? If that is “true” then we have a guy that typically would be top of draft and now with one year of NFL experience. Not a bad place to be at the position.

Bills 2019 NFL Draft: Buffalo Bills are taking D.K. Metcalf, says SI’s Gary Gramling

Top 10 Oline picks have some of the highest hit rates (aka not busts) versus most every other position. This can be an 8-year guy that you just don't have to worry about. WR's are much more risky historically. We already have risk at the QB position, I would not double down on that with a risky WR.
