I agree with many posters that McDermott needs to improve on some things to lead us to the next level we all want to see the team at, mainly replacing Dorsey with a play caller that has more play calling creativity. However, when you look at McDermott compared to Payton they are very comparable. We are all frustrated with how the season ended but McDermott is the top coach we have had since Levy and is a top level coach in this league. Even if he is ok the fact that the players had to witness a teammate and friend receiving cpr they need to suspend the game until at least tomorrow. There are things way more important in life than a football game.

Run defense hasn’t ever been good under McDermott. He loves to play nickel.

I don't think where they want to college or grew up has any bearing on how they will play in the cold. The Bills played a perfect game in one of the coldest games in NFL history last year, but that night had little wind and no snow. The issue I see with the current Bills roster is during windy and snow/sleet games. We are built to throw the ball and not ground and pound which is why we lost the game last year to the Patriots the first time. Fortunately for us the Dolphins aren't built to pound the ball either. I could see Saturday being a low scoring game with Josh being the x-factor with his running ability.
