As much as I want to see Chandler Jones I just don't know if we can clear enough cap space for him. The Bills still have a huge need at corner and a backup quarterback. I see the Bills continuing to build the roster with mid level veterans that fit within the cap and the culture that they have built. Hope I'm wrong though as i would love to see Jones in a Bills uniform next year.

I think this is the end of Harry. Star will either need to restructure or will be a post June 1st cut.

Jaguars are going nuts today. Spending a ton of money but will all come down to Lawrence developing into a good quarterback.

I think Harry could still come back after he tests the market. Levi is gone in my opinion. I think he played himself into a decent contract last year.

That is an absolutely insane deal for a mediocre tight end. I had him pegged as a guy the Bills might go after as a number 2 tight end but had him in the 4-5 million a year contract range.

Unless this signifies we are going to make a move for a running back. Doubtful but Saffold is not known to be a strong pass blocker.

I know the name, but also know he is on the back end of his career. Hopefully we are paying him less than we would of been paying Williams for next season as I don't see him as a much of an upgrade.

I agree Kirk is a much more dynamic player. I just don’t see the Bills paying the salary he is going to demand. How about Russell Gage as an alternative? He won’t command as much as Kirk, but would be more than Crowder. He has shown playmaking ability with the Falcons in the slot.

Another name to keep an eye on is Jamison Crowder. He could be had on a likely 2-3 year contract and would be less than Kirk but has similar stats with subpar quarterback play. Stevenson had one of the best 3 cone drills in the combine for a receiver. He is raw but with the right coaching he has good speed and agility that could allow him to become a weapon. In limited preseason action he showed that he could get separation albeit against backups.

Kirk is projected to get a top 20 contract. I just don’t see the Bills putting that much money into another receiver when we have other large needs.

I never said it wasn’t a need. I just don’t expect the Bills to go spend big money on a player such as Kirk. I think we will bring in a mid level veteran on a one year contract then draft a receiver. I also think Stevenson could be a surprise player this year with his speed. He showed well in the preseason last year before his injury.

Exactly. I just don’t see the Bills spending 12-15 million a year on another receiver.

I think Davis is a 70-80 catch guy opposite of Diggs. I think the Bills will pick up a decent slot guy in the off-season. As I said Berrios comes to mind and Crowder.

I agree but don’t see up spending a huge amount. Berrios from the Jets comes to mind as an option for the slot.

I could be wrong but I think the Bills have a guy ready to completely breakout next year in Gabe Davis. I keep seeing the DK, the Kirk, and Lockhett threads. I agree they have done more up to this point in their careers but Davis has all the tools to be a high level number 2. Gabe’s last 6 game as a starter including the post season he had 26 catches and 8 touchdowns. He is only due to make around a million dollars next year which would be an extremely cheap number two receiver and give the Bills the flexibility to go after larger needs. I don’t see the Bills making any moves other than potentially picking up a slot guy this off season because we have our stud number 2 receiver.
