  1. 4-12, maybe 5-11. The Dolphins are the only question marks. We will beat Cleveland, SanFran, and LA. I say a split with the Dolphins and hopefully beat the Jags.

If the team knows the season is over, I wonder if Sammy to the IR happens to save him for next year and other cap saving moves.

It's going to get worse before it gets better. Again....

I don't know...the Rams are looking pretty good. Their defense is awesome...

  2. I think the fact that he also acts as the general manager helps as well. Keep in mind that in Cleveland as coach he was less than impressive with a 36-44 overall record. He only took them to the playoffs once...1994. His last season was 5-11.

Whatever his mojo, it is obviously working in New England.

  3. No, its not well managed. For an organization to be well managed it must demonstrate success in accomplishing its goals. The staff has to buy in to the organizational goals. Management has to support the staff in attainment of its goals. This year we witnessed players continually questioning management's decisions to the point of outright mutiny. We witnessed coaches and support staff unprepared for games (awful challenge decisions, headsets malfunctioning, games plans that no one seemed to understand let alone know about, record penalties, etc.). We are seeing a huge amount of player injuries indicating an organization not properly preparing its staff for the physical challenges of the game. I can go on and on but why repeat what has been discussed so many times on this board and others.

I don't think this fact has escaped ownership. I am somewhat encouraged that ownership is considering bringing in someone to act as a consultant to make the necessary organizational changes.

  4. Rex has always been a character. Ray Lewis talks about what a great coach he is because he "Is a players coach." In fact most players that have played for him sign his praises.

What I do know is that our offense is better than it was the previous year. But our defense, the area of the game Rex is noted for, stinks it up. Based upon comments I see in the press, I sense our defense fought Rex over what he wanted to do. That is they didn't embrace his game plans for the defense. If players don't buy in, there are going to be problems because they are not going to apply the same degree of enthusiasm and work they would otherwise do.

I don't think Rex is going anywhere next season. But I do see big changes happening on the defensive side of the ball starting with Mario.

  5. Crohn's is manageable.

Most crohnies lose a significant amount of weight and 70% will need surgery.

For an o-lineman where over weight is a necessity, this could be an issue in the future. He needs to gain or maintain.

Best of Luck and we hope to see you on the field next year.

    Imo

i just read he lost 20 pounds. I hate to say this but I am concerned for Seantrel. First, playing a position where weight is important this illness can do him in. Second, I can't imagine the physical conditioning necessary to play pro-football will not affect his illness.
