Definitely feel opportunity exists with the Steelers...here's their latest depth chart.
1. A.Brown
2. M. Bryant
3. E. Rogers
4. J.J. Smith-Schuler
5. D. Heyward-Bey
6. S. Coates
7. J. Hunter
I'd be happy with Coates or Hunter on our depth chart.
My concern for our WR core is If Watkins can't play through pain we're in trouble. Jones was the right pick but it's hard to manage expectations of a rookie. Holmes, Brown and Powell/Lewis...yikes! I'm trying to maintain my confidence in this coaching staff but I would think we'd want to surround Tyrod with a supporting cast. I still think we need a solid #2...we'll see what happens.
I don't have any sources, just log jams on the depth chart for some teams that may be had for a low draft pick or FA without breaking the bank. Thought I'd start the conversation.
1. Tyrell Williams-LA
2. Matthew Slater-NE
3. Brandon Coleman-NO
4. Sammie Coates-PIT
5. Brian Quick-WAS
6. Kendall Wright-CHI
7. Allison Geronimo-GB
8. Phillip Dorsett-IND
9. Marquise Lee-JAC
10. Tyler Boyd-CIN
I attended both draft party nights and the reoccurring theme was character and good "citizens" how McDermott described our picks. Ian Rapoport just posted this...Yes, this is a business. Jeremy Maclin was a good citizen, a vet on a winning team. Andy Reid went to his wedding 2 weeks ago. Cut in June.
Interesting!
He missed 4 games in 2016 and far from 100%...had him in fantasy.
Patriots are cutting Center Bryan Stork for in-fighting in camp...maybe Brady is tired of him? Anyway, he'd be a FA who can sign with anyone as he's been in the league over 4 years...would you and put him at Guard?
I don't wear Bills colors to road games but it would be nice to be with other fans. There are 6 of us going and tickets aren't cheap.
Thanks for the link for the Philly Bills Backers Club!
I'm not as upset with EJ as I am with our decision to draft him...this from his scouting report...WEAKNESSES: He has a tendency to force throws into coverage trying to make a play. His decision-making and field vision are suspect. He struggles to work through progressions and often takes off running too quickly. Manuel has some accuracy issues as well. Short throws are often low or wide and his deep ball accuracy is uneven, as well. Gets happy feet under pressure, spins to the outside to avoid the rush. Must step into his throws more consistently to fully utilize his arm strength.
