  1. Don't think I ever remember seeing three wide receivers for the opposing team standing in the end zone tripping over one another because they were so wide open. My 93 year old Grandma could have thrown a td pass on that play...any maybe even rushed for 100 yards in the game to boot. Hell, put Betty White and my Grandma in and I bet the two of them could have scored a couple of times on that defense! I think this team should refund everyone's money that went to the game today. Absolutely one of the most disgusting defensive efforts I have ever witnessed in all my years of watching this team. The entire organization should be embarrassed and humiliated over that pathetic display - top to bottom.
  2. Whitners post-game tweet: Srry 4 whiff, but we'll b back nxt wk. Stll have bst 2-dary in NFL & I g-tee playoffs!
  3. While I can certainly remember the losing days before the Kelly era, I was too way young at the time to really let it bother me. But after living through the glory years and onto the current state of the franchise, I have to say that this is looking like it could be one of the ugliest seasons ever. I still watch every game and even though it might qualify me as a sell-out, I have not been to a live Bills game in three seasons. I just can't make it worth my while to drive up from Jamestown and drop well over $100 to see a team that does not put 100% effort into their games. As much fun as the tailgating is and as rabid as the fans are, I just can't bring myself to drive up there anymore to witness such incompetence on the field. It is bad enough witnessing it on the television. It's sad that I have gotten over the denial that the Bills are a really bad franchise and even worse now that I have accepted it. Today's result didn't surprise me at all, unfortunately. I think the big surprise was that we actually hung with New England last week for as long as we did. Instead of getting upset when the Bills play bad, now I just find it laughable...in a very disturbing sort of way.
  4. Exactly...or when you are beating them by two td's or more and you know ummmm...not losing. Just like when McKelvin made a tackle and then proceeded to point with both fingers at his own name on the back of his jersey. Nice that you are classy enough to realize that you made ONE play in a game that we were losing so you had to recognize yourself and let everyone else know how awesome you are. Didn't recall him doing that in the NE game last year when he had the crucial fumble that cost us the game. Take one to the house for the winning score...then you can talk some sh%t, otherwise shut the eff up until you start winning some games as a team and making bigger plays.
  5. Yep, as much as I hate to talk about the woulda, coulda, shoulda...at leastwe did show up to play today. But, it is getting so old to keep seeing at least one or two teammates always making critical mistake at the worst times. It is just maddening when we cannot stop making those mental mistakes that cost us games! And I will say it again this week...what happened to Marcus Stroud? He is supposed to be one of our "premier" d-lineman yet, I think this is the 2nd week in a row that I have not heard his name mentioned during a game. As bad as our o-line has been, it just amazes me how poor our d-line play is. While I suppose that will happen with a new scheme, it just grates at me that we can't even come close to sacking an opposing QB! Kyle Williams had one good series, but other than that...just pathetic.
  6. I called 35-9 before this game even started, so I was in the ball park. I didn't see it as dissing the Bills, I just saw it as a rational prediction...just like I am going to call the Patriots to beat the Bills next week 27-10. I know I'll still watch it as a fan, but most of us know that this team is just not any good. We are not even close to playing four full quarters with teams like Green Bay or New England. Sad, but true....
  7. No doubt that this o-line is pathetic, but if you know that your line sucks and your qb sucks, why not let Edwards run the qb option more? What's the worst that can happen...he get's hurt? We really need to deal with the fact that not only do we not have a good qb and offensive line, our defensive line is about one of the worst in the league too...anyone hear Marcus Stroud's name called yet this year? What about the other d-lineman...unless they get called for going offsides?
