Well isn't that kind of negating your original question as to why they would add alternates? And they always added more people for the real thing so why would a vote change that?

I already hear the nasally, flaccid nosed voice of Wright on how he even got one vote, let alone make the pro bowl. And honestly, I love these guys that have the worst takes right now about how someone is better or he cant compete the same or how whatever excuse they want to make up. They like their guys and the only reason they have to put him down, is because they are afraid of what he can do.

You honestly missed out on the best stuff at the end. Talking about Odell and Baker and what was going on between the two of them and talking about national TV commercials. Yes, the more national TV commercials your team has the the better you are. It was really bizarre to watch. "who is better when it comes to national tv commercials" is apparently skips new measuring stick (he didn't talk about Allen and commercials but you could tell that was what he was getting at).

They are professionals and don't play like that. Ask.... I was going to @ someone but can't remember who it was who was saying players don't do that.

They can yes, however I'm not sure that's how they would normally run a 5 wr set. Especially if you really wanted to run a 5 WR set with actually WRs.

I get that. And there are numbers in there that can be cherry picked left and right for how he has done and what he needs to improve on (for ex. you point out his INTs and a lot less TD's but his completion % is 5% more in the 3rd QTR compared to his 4th quarter numbers when we think he is the most clutch). I was referring in terms of yards is all. Nobody knows it more that there are things that need to improve than Allen and he's been doing everything he can to do that.

That's really going to hurt his QTR by QTR, HALF by HALF numbers. Just heard on the radio today and was kind of shocked but not really. Allen's 1st half and 2nd half passing numbers (2000/2000). I mean some of these guys you can just tell they either A) Don't want to be wrong on their initial take of Allen or B) are just trolling to get clicks. My personal favorite take is "He hasn't won in the playoffs". Well he's played exactly 1 playoff game so hasn't exactly had a bunch of chances. I know they are normally talking about whether Allen is at Mahomes level when they talk about the playoffs part of it but basing how he's playing now vs 1 game last season seems kind of reaching for reasons. First it was the accuracy, then it was he only beat bad teams, then they didn't have signature wins, now it's no playoff wins. Just funny how these guys are suppose to be at least somewhat objective when they clearly are not.

Still surprised that Allen wasn't even listed on the ballot for his game against SF. I'm assuming that's because it was a MNF game and they put the ballot out on Mondays.
