  1. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels the last 3 games has given me a "high negative" attitude while I yell at the tv.
  2. Bucs 27 Bills 23 For no reason whatsoever. I don't predict scores so I'm just trying to do the reverse jinx here.
  3. Well the fun part is, I have no idea what stat they are using to make that claim.
  4. If McD is telling Dorsey that he needs to run the ball X amount of times per game then he's definitely overstepping and needs to let the offense play their game. What I keep thinking about is the commitment to the 12 personnel and how Dorsey ran it as a QB in college. We didn't have the horses in past to run it but now that we have Knox and Kincaid (had Knox) it became more of a reason to run the ball as well since they had more players inline. I think the best case with Knox being out is less 12 personnel and more 11 with Kincaid in a true flex role but don't know what they will do with the slot (I'm guessing Sherfield since he is a better blocker than Harty and Shakir doesn't have the speed to match the other two).
  5. That was from the same article. Now I need to go find it but I remember that now that you said it. And the theory is sound other than the fact that Josh doesn't run anymore. I'd rather give him 3 chances to get 10 yards than give him 2 chances and tell him he can't take off. Makes no sense.
  6. They talked about it this morning on WGR and attributed it to net neutral pass/run plays. Basically, every time the team is in 2nd and less than 5, they run the ball. And I'm being figurative with every time but it was something like 90% of the time they ran the ball on 2nd and less than 5. This is the type of thing that I feel like has been hurting Allen because he doesn't get another chance because now it's 3rd down and he's potentially throwing the ball for the first time in that set of downs. I remember back in 2020 or 2021 where there was an article about the bills offense that basically said "the best way to not get stopped on 3rd down is don't go to 3rd down" because the offense was throwing so much that they were getting a new set of downs on either 1st or 2nd down and not even getting to 3rd. The analytics of the pats games, they ran the ball on every 2nd and less than 5 (i believe it was 7/7 or 8/8 times) so they knew it was coming every time. I'm not big into the different analytics stuff that's involved in sports but that's something that I did notice over the past few games was the tendency to run on 2nd and short yardage plays. Those stats kind of confirm that.
  7. aint that the truth.
  8. It's because of the curb stomping they gave out weeks 2-4 averaging 41 PPG.
  9. The defense kept the team in the games the last 3 weeks. The offense failed with 6 points in the first half of the last 3 games. I'll give you the NE game that they fell off but you can't expect them to be good every week while missing 7 players on defense. What is the offenses excuse while no one is missing?
  10. He doesn't have to be Knox is the thing. Run blocking isn't why we drafted him. Knox is both an average/good run blocker and TE. Kincaid can be a great TE but is a bad/average run blocker. Switch to 11 personnel and use him off the line. That's what the offense has been missing. Someone open over the middle. Whether it be him or harty or sherfield. More receivers is better when your QB is Allen.
  11. Now we switch back to 11 personnel with Kincaid as the slot/F receiver.
  12. Better question is did Dorsey try to save his own butt with these comments. Sounds like "well he said we need to do something more so we did more of what what he wanted" but at the same time, doesn't excuse the last 2 weeks vs jags and giants.
  13. Now I'm curious if Diggs would be more of a Metallica guy or a Seger guy. Neither one feels like it fits him.
  14. Oh great, He's asking for a trade 🙄
  15. Mario Williams would probably be worse in terms of big money little production. He was good and so is Von, but Von at least helped win the game last year in KC by getting Mahomes out of the pocket and forcing a bad throw. Mario was just..... "i feel like playing this down"
  16. And some come back better. It's only 9 months from his injury. Will take time to see what happens.
  17. again, the last two games the defense did what it had to do to keep the bills in the game and they won one and lost one, this game, they were without more players and the offense did nothing for almost 3 qtrs while the depleted defense was gassed because of the offense going 5/12 on 3rd down with no good play calling until Allen started running a hurry up in the 4th. I'll give McD the benefit in this game because everyone was gassed but the offense deserves no room at this point. Something is off and I think it starts with Dorsey and/or Allen. One is going to go at some point and it's not Allen.
  18. talking about the aggregate. Being on the field for the last 3 games 100 minutes of 160 minutes adds up and you are playing 5 players that are back ups. They are hurting all over on the defense and have been on the field for more time than you want when you are a high powered offense that can sustain drives, or at least they used to be that type of offense.
  19. Defense was bad for sure but look at this and tell me which side of the ball has been the problem the past 3 weeks?
  20. The point is the defense should have never been in that position in the first place. They were on the field for more than half the game. Same as the last two games.
  21. NE had 4 starters out on defense against probably the worst offense in the league over the past 3 weeks (the bills). Yes, the Bills have been that bad. The only time that there is a rhythm to their game is when they are running hurry up. Otherwise, Dorsey is looking at the defense on the field and faking himself out of the game.
