  1. Simply put, a loss to the Raiders will be all the proof needed to the people who proclaimed 'KC just wasn't a good team' after the Chiefs lost to the Bills.

I know that winning should be all the motivation needed, but I don't necessarily believe that's always the case in professional sports. I think all of the best teams/players need to have that feeling they're being dissed in one form or another to perform at their top level. The Pats do it, Jordan did it. Here's hoping that the Bills' coaches and leaders are using the "you've been dissed" card to it's fullest advantage. Because they really have been dissed by the "KC is a bad team" and the sheer lack of national Bills chatter in favor of Pats, Pats, Pats…Jets, Jets, Jets…

Of course you want them to have the motivation of winning the game, but you also want them to play with an attitude that the other team said some real bad things about their mommas. They need to bring that same attitude that they had last week.

    4-12 should be motivation

  2. I really like our d this year.

Our front is very decent. Dwan Edwards, Kyle, Dareus, Spencer Johnson, etc

Even our lb core is not too shabby

    Kelsay, Barnett, Merriman

Im in love with the way Barnett plays. He's fast. Always around the end of the play. Very solid tackling.

I like Merriman. He's 1 of our pass rushing lbs. But at the end of the year, I think Barnett will have a bigger impact. Plus, Im not sure Merriman will go the whole season.

    What do you guys think?

    Barnett was an awsome addition

  3. I suspect as long as he stays healthy he may continue to beat one one ones with LBs.

Now if they start adding safety help. Welcome, Roscoe, Donald Jones, and Stevie to some huge games.

    Oh oh!

With that Rucker switch-a-roo, Looks like Buddy might use those early bed times to his advantage. The early Nix, gets the Chandler.

This reuniting old Chargers may not be so bad after all.

    yep

  4. After a jaw dropping 4 TD performance to start the season, the Bills brass is talking with Fitzpatrick about an extension. Good move, in my opinion. Fitz is a leader that the team respects and rallies behind. It's a good message to send too. Those that perform are rewarded.

    WGR 550

No one talking to Parish's agent doesn't really bother me much. Doesn't mean he won't be extended in the future or that he will either. Perform, Roscoe and you will be rewarded.

Make him the highest paid QB!!!!!!!

  5. Phil Hansen, the very much under appreciated DE of the golden era is going on the Wall this Sunday afternoon. It should be a pretty emotional moment. Phil, who was a very good player in his own right let all the accolades go to the guy on the other end but made his own presence felt in many games. Phil is very similar to another player who will be on the field defending the Bills...Kyle Williams.....If he keeps up how he is playing, one day he will also make it to that Wall.

    well deserved

  6. Hoping to hear the Ralph Rocking on Sunday! I live in Kissimmee Fl but raised in Buffalo. We need to show this team We Billieve in them. About time to rid ourselves of decades of fustration and no better way then to make it miserable on Oakland!

I will be screaming from my living room lol

  7. I was trying to tell him that I really dislike Brady.

He was tring to tell me that if I had the power to choose Brady, I would.

I kept telling him no. I like fitz too much and dislike Brady too much. (obviously with time, I would accept Brady if we had him)

But I wouldn't select him if I had the power to do so.

    I'll go first

No, I would not pull the switch on Fitz and would reject Brady

    Brady or Fitz?

    Fitz.... Brady is a Dork

  8. Bills are coming off an impressive 41-7 win with its home opener days away - and today the entire morning was Sabres preseason talk. Only this crew can talk NHL preseason over regular season NFL.

And keep in mind they have dedicated shows to the topic of meaningless NFL preseason games (but apparently the preseason games of an 80 game schedule is so important)

I refuse to listen to them anymore! Useless station!

  9. While the coaches and players play them one at a time, we as fans don't have to think that way. At least not me. The Bills have a real chance in this game because:

    1) The Patriots defense was nothing special last year. Somewhat protected by the strength of their offense and living off takeaways, they can be had as the Dolphins showed once again.

    2) Crowd noise. The Ralph has never really rocked like Rich did. It's all because the defense has largely not been able to exploit it. The volume typically elevates on 3rd and long in an effort to create an extra advantage for the defense. When there is no pressure generated and the 3rd gets converted the crowd quickly learns that they can't affect the outcome.

    3) The defensive front 7 has been revamped and it is now in a position to exploit the noise advantage.

    4) Pressure up the middle is the most important. Make T.B. hold the ball and give him no space to step up. He can look very average when consistently pressured (see XLII.) Williams, Johnson, Dareus, whomever. Let him see the pressure and make him alter his throws because of it.

    5) Dan Koppen, their starting center, broke his ankle against the Dolphins. The pressure up the middle approach becomes more viable.

In their second meeting last year, there was nothing more frustrating than watching Brady stand in the pocket without any concern for the pressure. It was a constant 7 on 7 drill. Not that they threw it that much given the short fields and poor run defense. In their first meeting, they really had trouble with Kyle Williams but they made a project out of holding him w/o drawing a flag.

Being 3 and 0 and having just beaten the Patriots would energize the Bills' fan base like nothing else has in the new millenium. The rest of the NFL world couldn't help but notice.

    Bills 30

    Pats 13

Brady breaks leg out for season

  10. I'm wondering if he got gonnorhea or syphillys or something like that

Dude we think alike!!! I said the same thing to someone yesterday. Coach said he was not going to say what it was and he would let Easley tell if he wanted to. Has to be something like that. Those nasty chicks in WNY LOL

  11. Ok, so I braved the late night game and watched the Raiders closely, and I have a few thoughts on what we need to do to beat them. IN no particular order.

    1. Pressure Campbell - We should be able to do this effectively = win

    2. Plug up the holes inside with Our DT's and win the edge - McFadden runs more for the edge than inside and this is where we need to stop him = win/loss

    3. Dicipline - Raiders looked young and undiciplined last night, and this is a big plus for us, if we stay as diciplined as in the KC game. = win

    4. TE's will be big in this game as they were in KC. Move the ball around and we will be fine = win

    5. One on one our CB's match up well with the Raiders, WR's. This will give us a lot more options with strong nickle packages. = win

    6. Solid tackling will win the day. = win

    7. Turnovers. Keep them down, and we = win

I didn't see anything last night from Oakland that particularily scared me, other than the Reece/McFadden combo, but I think we have the personell that can take them on. We just need to execute.

    My predicition is a Bills win. 27 - 14

    Bills 2 - 0 Vs. New England!

Don't ask me how we beat NE, I have no frigging idea.. LOL

    Tim-

If our O-Line plays good again Fitz will eat em alive!!!!!

  12. 288-491 (58.6%) 3541 yards 31 Tds and 16 ints

Three 4 TD games in that span

Yes I know there were a few stinker games in there, but 31 TDs from our QB and 3500 yards? Thats a damn fine season especially if he can cut down on INTs

Hey I like the gun slinger approach INTs come with that.

  13. Apparently Joe Flacco didn't, did anyone around here know if he played in the opener against Pittsburgh, and if he did, about how many plays?

For the record, I loved him as a player with first class character when he was here, but while very surprised at the time of the trade, i didn't think it was going to hurt this team at all. It's sad to see him fall so far from where he was in 2006.

    We dont need him!!!!!!!!!

  14. I know, I know...ignore the Pats until we dispatch the Raiders, but it's hard for me not to be fired up about the upcoming Pats game, especially living in Boston and listening to all the Brady fans around here talk about how it's their year because nobody from the division will challenge them. I actually have the Ravens and Packers in the superbowl as my early predictions, the Pats defense will be their undoing again. At least we have a respectable unit on the field for once, and I'm so excited about the opportunity to have a changing of the guard in the AFC East.

Living in Boston and being a Bills fam give this guy a medal or something! Your the man
