  1. That these kickoffs that happened last year were terrible! I never seem to see anyone complaining about the fact that almost every return last year was a touchback. This is terrible for football because it ruins one of the best and most exciting moments during the game. Obviously goodell did this to reduce injuries but really how much did it help? Plus most of the players that play special teams are back up players anyways and it just doesn't outweigh the importance of field position and other factors that play into returns. When will they be pushed back to the 30 again bc until then the kickoffs are meaningless and should just be placed at the 20 to save time and energy that players use by sprinting down the field. they need to stop changing so many rules and leave the game as it is.

Back ups are people to! lol

  2. True true. If you close your eyes and listen to Sapp's analysis of football, the guy is smarter than half the people on there (especially Jamie Dukes). But my problem with Sapp is that he looks like he has anxiety in front of the camera. He starts shaking his head too quickly and starts laughing before the other person starts talking.

Might want to call the TV repair man. I had the same problem with mine once.

  3. I was watching NFL Network and ESPN yesterday and all they talked about is how we overpaid for Mario and how we need to draft a QB because Fitz sucks. If the Cowboys, Steelers or New England would have landed him they would be talking about what a great move and they will go all the way now. Instead I hear the good teams like Green Bay dont usually go after free agents they build within. Give me a freaken break!

  4. Congrats to Buddy & Chan.

Thank you Ralph, Jeff Littman and Russ Brandon.

Kudos to the rest of Bills Nation for helping recruit Mario.

But for all the great work done by Merriman, Kyle Williams, Jim Kelly et. al., it seemed odd that our attempt to woo our next great defensive end wasn't led by our greatest defensive end.

Anyone have any idea why he was so conspicuously absent?

I seen him passed out at a redlight

  5. For a station that takes flack around here (not from me), I have to say their coverage of this has been terrific. They have been live for two days, almost around the clock. They have reporters in different spots around Buffalo. They are having fun with this, but also showing that they are just as invested in this, as we the fans, are. I have been enthralled with all of this Mario Williams stuff. So have they. They are really extending how we all feel today. They are also getting more info from the big guys as well. A lot of the big guys are citing WGR.

Kudos GR, I have been streaming you at work, at home, and over my car bluetooth through the Bills mobile app. I couldn't get through this without you guys.

    :worthy:

Yea real great! Correct me but didnt they state that Meachem was going to be a Bill in 24 hours?

  6. "2. Good news for Niners? San Francisco fell minutes short of making it to Indianapolis and Super Bowl XLVI. But based on recent trends, San Francisco or another NFC West team will advance to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans. As CBS Sportsline reporter Clark Judge recently pointed out, the division that plays the AFC East during the regular season has wound up in the Super Bowl every season since 2006. In 2006, the Bears played their nondivision games against the AFC East and advanced to the Super Bowl; in 2007, the Giants did it; in 2008 the Cardinals did it; in 2009 the Saints did it; last season the Packers did it; and this season the Giants did it again."

    interesting

  7. Does anyone else think they need to bring back Keith Ellison? The guy was a tackling machine in the middle. He wasn't the biggest guy in the world, but he played with a ton of heart. I don't believe he was on an active roster this year, so knowing Keith, I'm sure he spent the whole year working out and prepping for 2012. I'm sure you could get him for cheap, I'd say it's worth a shot. This is the type of guy you bring in if you want to build a championship caliber roster.

Are you his mother or manager?

  8. Absolutely zero. This team has holes all over the field. LB, CB, WR, DL, OT. If they want to go QB and one of the Big 3 is available when they pick, than fine. But under no circumstances can the Bills afford to burn picks by trading up.

I also think the Bills could get into the top 7 of the draft if they lose to Miami since there is no chance they beat Denver or NE.

    Well said

  9. You know what is wrong with me? How about the fact that my family has been a season ticket holder since day one in 1960? What's wrong with me? I would say that I can't believe I still get upset after seeing crap season after crap season? What's wrong with me? Not sure - maybe you should be asking what's wrong with the team. OK, does this look better....let's win a meaningless game against a crap team so we can feel like they are something they are not.Would I rather lose to Miami if it means having a shot at one of the top QBS or game changing ILB? You better believe it. Am I insane that I will still be going to this game hoping they lose? Probably.......

    Im with you 100% brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
