If this were a real issue, there would have been more accusations of harassment by this point.

The problem is that even with their starting RB out, our run defense is giving up 5 yards each running play. If they can establish the run, they'll be able to play action and it won't matter how good our dbs are. With the exception of Whitner. What has he ever done?

High expectations for any running back considering the quality of the offensive line? I would love for Spiller to be the next Barry Sanders.
(sarcasm has been removed from this post)

If this were Trent's first time looking like a deer in headlights when the objective is clear I would worry less. If Gailey can mold QBs like I hear, I hope he inserts a spine.
-
I don't know why more defenses don't pick Edwards off more often. He throws to RBs and throws into the flat 80% of the time.
-
So that makes it 14-0 BILLS with about 7-8 minutes left in first quarter. I'll take it!
I believe anything that someone with Antoine Dodson as their profile pic says

Hiding how good our defense is? I'm not puffing on that. However even if our defense on paper is worse than last year, we'll do better this year.
Jauron was the substitute teacher you didn't care about listening to and slacked off on. Gailey seems to be the teacher that expects you to do well and you must answer to if you fail. I think thats what will make this year better than last year.

It taught McKelvin to take a knee when the hands team is on the field

Has an NFL player ever been convicted of rape? Given the series of violent crimes against women that they're regularly busted for, I'm fairly certain the rapes have happened. The incidence rate of rape is high enough that the 1600+ active NFL players at any given time is just randomly likely to produce a few. But I can't think of any convictions.
In any case, I would guess that a conviction would be career-ending for an NFL player, even if somehow the prison sentence didn't take care of that for Goodell. Beyond that, I don't think it's unfair for the NFL to use a looser standard than the criminal justice system for determining player suspensions. Goodell's the boss, as agreed to by all parties in the last CBA and probably again whenever they work the next one out. He can make his own calls on the evidence - and his cost/benefit analysis is different than a DA in pursuing charges. Until he seems to abusing that, I don't have a problem with it. He's certainly empowered to punish league employees for non-illegal activity anyway - spygate wasn't a crime, as far as I know.
Speaking of the CBA, we'll have plenty of time to talk about that next year during the lockout next season

Since it seems to be the consensus and well established that the Bills particularily T. Edwards struggles against the 3-4 defense, I would like to know if anyone knows which teams play the 3-4 on our schedule. I am pretty sure all the divison opponents do and if that's the case we may be in trouble in that corner. So who else plays the 3-4 on our 2010 schedule?
Miami Dolphins Week 1 & 15
Green Bay Packers Week 2
New England Patriots Week 3 & 16
New York Jets Week 4 & 17
Baltimore Ravens Week 7
Pittsburgh Steelers Week 12
Cleveland Browns Week 14
So 10 out of 16 games are against 3-4 defenses

Still rocking my old school Bryce Paup, wanting a Byrd or Spiller away jersey

Maybe in another 15 years they'll forget about Spygate
-
I think that Edwards performance this year will be depend on how long he keeps growing those sideburns.
Brady Anderson length=Wildcard
Older Elvis length = AFC Championship
Full blown Muttonchops=Superbowl

Yeah. He really beat up on 3rd stringers and scrubs.
Yep, after the half they let Colts fans suit up and play a down or two
-
but....but....he has so much heart? shouldn't he be able to use the word of God to will the ball to his receivers?
Ha ha. He can also microwave a burrito so hot that he himself could not eat it.

Its easy to subscribe to conspiracy theories when the front office doesn't address obvious needs. We needed a LT last year, did we draft high or trade for one? We needed a QB this year, did we draft high or trade for one?
-
Toronto must be real eager to see this team for the next preseason game. We have a worse winning percentage in Toronto than at the Ralph. At least we have that Canadian money in the bank.
-
I find it amazing that the front office saw what we had at the QB position and said "we'll go with what hasn't worked before. No need to go draft a QB or go put and get one."
-
I prefer to think of this season as a bid for the #1 draft pick next year
-
You can't fault fans for being pessimistic when every other team in our division is getting better and we're treading water. Who wants to be the Baltimore Orioles of the NFL?
That being said, I'm looking forward to this season. If our hodgepoge line can keep our QB's brain from being frapped, I'm interested to see what our 3 headed RB attack can do.

Never too early for a wet blanket, huh?

Don't worry, Fitzpatrick has been working out his chin and he might fill his chinstrap this year.

Yeah people, come on

Big Ben and Lynch have as many character issues, hard to see both trades happening for drat picks

I took a shift working Sundays for more money. It seems like such a good decision at the moment.
