id like to congratulate Tom Brady... on a fine haircut
-
I want to travel back in time to when Jets fans invented the chant. I can see it now:
"Our team needs inspiration, how do we cheer them on?"
"I know! Let's inspire them by giving our players a spelling lesson. Let's spell JETS, then just in case they forgot the lesson we'll repeat what we spelled 3 times afterward!"
Good thinking

I would make Spiller carry a football the entire offseason maybe he'd lose it less next season
-
I want a franchise offensive line that can give a QB at least 2 full seconds to look downfield.
-
What did you mean by smiley face?
-
It's too bad he didn't get a free ticket to a meaningless game in which no one with career aspirations dares physically exert themselves and ruin their offseason
-
Bruchetta is as insightful as my alarm clock. And only slightly less annoying.
-
The only legal way Wade Phillips could help the organization would be to buy the team from Ralph Wilson's clutches but he doesn't have the coin
-
I expected to see more support for TE considering all of the battered wife syndrome-like excuses that were made for him on this board for so long.
-
As long as the cryptkeeper owns the team and makes a profit, we will continue to send our talented players to other teams and become the minor league of the NFl
-
So it comes down those who want a better chance of a better draft pick by a loss or those who want to feel good with a meaningless win
-
I will consider this season a winning season and not post for the rest of the season if we beat the those chowderheads

I imagine it will be an ownership group that purchases us. I imagine it will be run as a board of commissioners, Jim Kelly on the board and several figures in business.
If the Bills continue to stay in the Buffalo metro area I see them building a stadium beside the current location or erecting a brand new structure toward the Falls. There will not be a new stadium until there is new ownership and the promise that the Bills will stay in the metro area. The new ownership agreeing to keep the team in the area will drive the demand by the community to build the stadium. I also predict retractable roof, as well. Not because of the football games but because the increased options to host events.
A dome or retractable roof is will be part of any new stadium, so much for the cold weather "advantage." The supposed advantage being against Miami, considering the other teams in our division play in the same climate.

BTW .... he pass defensed against 18 so far..
Where is that from because http://www.nfl.com/p...le?id=WHI720119 says 6???
I also have to question the number of tackles. It seems like an awful lot for someone who whiffs so much trying to lay into ball carriers

Are you guys gonna apologize to Maybin now?
....I'm waiting....
...I didn't think so...
Or McKelvin?

We forcibly ended the career of a diva who held his team hostage, held out for more money on top of his 12 Mil, and enjoys sending pictures of his junk to staffers.

I couldn't decide on 'Carrie on' or Carrion. Either way....sarcasm is now off.
Is that how you turn the sarcasm on this board off? I thought there was a clapper.

The bills had offers from the Broncos, Eagles, and Vikings. The Broncos wanted Cutler, and offered their first, the 4th pick of the 2nd round, and a 4th round pick. The Eagles wanted Bunkley, but I never heard what they offered. I never heard who the Vikings wanted or what they offered. The best offer offer of the three was the Broncos, which was reported by Peter King after the draft. The bills passed because they thought either the lions would take Whitner at 9 or the ravens at 12. Mortenson reported after the draft that the Lions loved Sims, and would not have taken Whitner. The Ravens would have taken Whitner if Ngata was unavailable. So looking back, they bills could have traded down and still picked Whitner. If this occurred they probably do not trade up, since McCargo probably would have been there in the early stages of round 2. To answer your question, I feel they could trade down if a top qb prospect was on the clock in April. I hope however, that they select a qb if a good one is available.
Use Whitner in your everyday speech. When you overpay for something you won't get any significant use out of, it's called "drafting a Whitner." i.e. My friend chose to buy HDDVDs instead of Blue ray discs, he sure did draft a Whitner.

Funny thing is... that's been the book on how to beat the Pats* for years. Yet, very few teams do it. Why? I'm seriously asking. Does the league office mandate that you can't blitz Brady and play bump and run, man coverage on their WRs? It boggles my mind how many teams I see playing a soft zone with 3-4 pass rushers while Brady just steadily picks them apart.
Blitz Brady? Too risky. If you hit him, you'll get a penalty. Regardless, they'll invent another rule to ensure Brady's success. The next one being if Brady throws an incomplete pass, he gets a do-over.

Are we going to start covering half the stadium with tarp like Jacksonville just to say we sold out?
-
When he has more than one good year, then I will trust the next 8-10 years to him. But with all the QBs that have just one good year and have a huge decline later, it is quite a gamble to assume he is the QB for us for the long haul.
Fitz can be a good fill in the gap quarterback but we need a project for the future
-
They didn't. He is on the sideline in street clothes.
Favre has said all along that he would not do that. And he made good.
Great things to be remembered for.
Like the most interceptions in NFL history

I would rather take a chance on an early round quarterback being a Ryan or Flacco, only we pick in the top 5. If not, I say get the best pass rushing DL, and take a well rounded QB later on
Whitner coming un-hinged?

You're right. We should pay him as much as Polamalu because... he plays in a cold, small market team? Makes perfect sense! We should pay him like the best safety and just hope he becomes worth it. I'll start. Hoping. Here I go.
