I don't know...  I think that he means it more in a we, or a societal context, as in the way we have all been through covid as a societal experience.  It has impacted everything and we have all been through it, whether we had the virus individually or not, it has certainly impacted us all.  In speaking of the prep for last season in particular when the impact was far greater, this would make a great deal of sense.

I considered that too.... weird way to say it.  Maybe because he was in an interview and fumbled words...

I'm worried that if, after yesterday,  the Bills don't add Cam to the 53, he'll get signed by another team.  Then the question is who do you cut in order to get him on the 53.  My choice is Ford.

the way McDermott emphasized that they weren’t giving up on Ford during the post game interview yesterday made me suspicious they were going to try to trade him… if no takers then cutting him would be next.

Matthew Fairburn recently wrote an article exploring whether Josh Allen would regress next year.

He tried to explore a number of different statistics and Next-Gen stars to contemplate whether Allen is poised to regress next year.

His takeaway was that he expects to see a small regression...

It seems to me that statistics being used to project Josh Allen's future have been wrong the overwhelming majority of the time.

Ya know, I posted a thread back in July positing that a Bills team comprised of its backup players would actually be competitive…this team is deep.

it struck me at some point while it was our two's vs their one’s that we looked like we’d beat them in a full game… and i thought we’d probably be a competitive team in general.

The bills have more operating income than Cincinnati, Tennessee, Cleveland , and Arizona , and giants and bears and jets

And these are estimates. You're worth what somebody's willing to pay... The bills were valued at a lot less than what Terry pagula paid for us

They have the Bills at NEGATIVE 17.6 million… which is better than Detroit, LA Chargers, Baltimore , Green Bay, Seattle, Houston, Philadelphia, San Fran

    Serious question....

why build a new one in orchard park???

    1) fans love the current stadium and the tailgating atmosphere it allows; 2) a new stadium will allow the team to generate more revenue.  So to answer your question, to have their cake and eat it too.

Can anyone actually explain what these numbers mean? Or do you just put a chart with numbers on it and say “see, I told you!”

this is the exact same reaction I had when looking at their graph...  "percentile outcomes for each draft pick".  Huh?  Like what is the measure here?

    I’d bet money it does.
Jax will make sure to walk out with a loss against Indy.
    Baltimore will destroy Cincy.

The only wild card is Tennessee, but I think they put away Houston.
These 3 teams are playing for their lives this weekend.

I think you’re probably right.  Baltimore is -850, Cleveland is -500, and Indianapolis is -1200.  Put it all together and you get -220 for all of it happening, which is an implied probability of 68.75%   But I’d play the other side because betting on the favorite is not really worth the risk.
