This question has been asked a few times this year already. A few times too many
No we shouldnt bring him here
But yes we should always be looking to improve wherever possible. That doesnt mean bring in Dareus tho

i wouldnt categorize our oline play as "horrible". The Rams D is better than they probably get credit for. Aaron Donald is a BEAST & one of the best defensive players to ever play the game. I thought overall we did a pretty good job.
Allen's Time to Throw stat on the day? 3.37 seconds, 2nd most time to throw in the NFL to Russell Wilson.
I'd say thats not "horrible' by any means

Lost Kittle so had to swing man. I will play the hot offense though. Good luck with Mo, looking good so far.
yeah the injuries this year have been brutal. Luckily i've been pretty much spared from them up til this point.
Of course since its 2020, Kamara later tonight will probably go down & that'll be that lol.
But on Kroft, i hope this game is the beginning of something special for him. Like others have said, a TE can feast all day with this offense. We just need someone to step up. Whether it be Knox or Kroft, the opportunities are there for them to circle the wagons

Got me 18pts
hey i'll gladly be wrong anytime he proves me wrong... especially when the Bills win on the day! But yeah he was involved in a few pivotal plays today, that bs INT as well that shouldve counted.
I started Mo Alie Cox myself and so far he's doing pretty good for me right now too. 12.6 pts
Hopefully today we both win!

clip of that bs int . Refs scored 7 points today. Theyre always hard to beat

Agree with all, for all you Fantasy Football freaks he is a real good sneaky play this weak if hurting at that position.
Nobody & i mean nobody should be hurting that much
There's plenty of good TE's out there... more than i can remember in recent years. Picking up Kroft on ur FF team is like picking up Croom
Theres much better options out there.
Dalton Schultz, Logan Thomas, Jordan Reed, Mo Alie Cox just to name a few, but we could list 20 other names better than Kroft this week.
All that being said, as a Bills fan i hope Kroft puts up 3 tds & 150 yards... but thats not likely to happen. One foot at a time with Kroft, which also describes his injury history.

hopefully someone uploads the segment somewhere so i can check it out
I know i could pay the $5.99 but im not gonna just for this

Ed Oliver has no one but himself to blame for injuring his knee. Literally hurt it trying to trip someone.
I do hope all our guys are healthy soon. Our defense was exposed last week with Milano & Edmunds out & the Rams have Tyler Higbee who just caught 3 tds last week. The Rams will surely try to attack that area too after seeing Miami & Gesicki have success with it.
Fantasy football wise i've been rolling with the Bills D but just in case I picked up the Chargers D, because if our 2 lbs are out again I fear we'll be exposed again.
Good thing we have the NFL MVP in Josh Allen to bail us out if we need him to do it again

Just a sense from what I have seen over the years, but I believe that the franchise and fanbase that Fitzy associates with most closely (other than where he might be playing at any given time) is Buffalo. The Bills were the ones that gave him the big contract and it's where he became a starter. The franchise and community fit well with his personality. As a lifelong member of the Bills "family," plus their common membership in the NFL QB "club," these guys know each other and, as another poster mentioned, they have played golf together in the past. So they are friends to some extent, and just shared a hello and a few words after the game. Probably a few more words than during the typical QB-to-QB post-game handshake.
Yep. Fitz also is the best QB we've had here since Jim Kelly....
until this guy:

We knew they needed to & they came thru clutch in the end. Mustve been hard to stay engaged in the game, with the 36 minute delay & only getting the ball 8 times in the 3rd qtr.
Great win!

Is there actually a video or is it just ads? After the 11th ad in a row I gave up
No ads for me in the video. Maybe get a better ad blocker? I use Ublock Origin. It blocks everything, Youtube ads, ads on online streams, you name it. Its different than regular Ublock ad blocker & better than all the other ones i've tried. Can't recommend it enough if you're having to sit thru 11 ads while watching a video lol.
But yes theres a video of a kid who towers over all the other kids & stiff arms them to a long td run
twitter video for those who couldnt see it

Not only will he do whatever it takes to win the game. He also has lots of fun out there & gets excited & amped up for the games just like we do.
He's also a humble guy who grew up modestly & had to prove the naysayers wrong. Can't wait to watch him continue to grow.

Does anyone know when the billboard will go up in New England? I tried finding out online & have since tweeted FoxSports to find out. Just wondering when we can expect it.
Thanks!

And what will happen if he gets hurt next week or has a bad game? There'll be 30 pages of people saying how injury prone he is or how we should've gotten rid of the guy.
1 game against the Jets is too little to take much from imo. But i'll continue to hope for the best from him regardless of my feelings on him.

I could see Gase giving up one of those Firsts to try and create something that makes him look less like a garbage coach.
It wouldnt be Gase though to make that move, it'd be their GM Joe Douglas. And I dont get the impression that he's that stupid. They had a nice draft & im pretty sure he realizes they have too many holes currently to make a move for OBj worthwhile.

Yes there was fake noise playing inside the stadium at a 70 db level. And there was also a different fake noise on the tv broadcaster side, that was custom tailored by sound engineers to be more like how local fans would respond. It is at the broadcasters discretion as to play this additional sound track or not.... but most have to start the season.
Personally i'm glad they have the fake noise in the background. I just wish it were on the same loudness level that we average over here. 70db's is a lot different than 100 or 124db's we've been registered at in years past. But i do know people who say the fake noise is bad & they wish the games were played in silence, so they can hear all the on field communication better. Even though that works with say the UFC matches, I cant imagine football being played in silence. It'd be like watching a game in Miami for the whole year... screw that!
Anyways, if anyone is curious as to the details about all of this can read up on it here: https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/nfl-broadcasts-2020-fake-crowd-noise-explained-covid/73nq9jby87yi1em47p84enrre

The Injuries are the one of two things that really have me disappointed after the the game. Losing Edmunds and milano for extended periods would be devastating.
the other thing that really bothers me is our run blocking. Our OL sucked today imo. They were adequate pass blocking but the jets have one of the worst pass rushes in history. Hopefully our OL had an off day run blocking due to the jets effectiveness vs the run
Jets run D is the strength of their team really. We had a plan from the start to beat them thru the air, evidenced by Allen getting his 1st 300 yard passing day today.
I think our struggles with the run today were part by design & a lack of rhythm for our backs, in combination with our right side Oline playing their 1st game together & a strong Jets run d.
I'll be more worried about it a couple weeks from now & we're still saying this.

Prior to the season starting, everyone was saying how there'd be an increase in soft tissue injuries this year. And looks like they were right.
Sure it wouldve been great to come out healthy & these injuries are concerning for sure. But we're not alone. Marlon Mack mightve tore his Achilles, Bell injured his hamstring, DeVante Parker injured his as well.
We'll know more about the situation in a few days. Just gotta hope for the best & plan for the worst if ur Coach

Yes it worked, I have some other methods up my sleeve, but this is a good back up and will consider it as may be more reliable.
Hmm there's now a Carbones Pizza in Buffalo. That is one place I missed from when I lived in Rochester
Thanks for the explanation!
Fwiw, Carbones has been in Buffalo for 40 years. From their website it said Buffalo was their 1st location here. The one in North Greece didnt open til 10 years later.

Regarding watching the games on Sunday. Plenty of people will be around come gametime. If people are unable to watch the game for whatever reason, BillsMafia will be there to help

It's funny how McD is the savior these days, and Rex was a joke show.
Rex was 1 game under .500 for his Bills career; McD is 2 games above.
Both live/lived right in the middle of the league where almost all teams reside.
But 1 is horrible and 1 is great.
Fair points i guess but Rex was obnoxious & his personality was all about himself. It was like he was a star of his own reality tv show. Whereas McD has class & is all about his players.
Rex coached a team that felt disjointed, McD's teams play like 1 cohesive unit.
And our trajection with McD is a team on the rise.
The only thing rising with Rex was his weight.

I dont think he gets a pass per se. But this is his 1st year there & instead of committing to high price free agents, i imagine he wanted to see what he had 1st in the players that were already there. So he made some middling kind of moves, with the intention most likely to then make bolder moves next year. But he couldnt have foreseen all the injuries they had & the Jamal Adams fiasco & CJ Mosley opting out due to covid.
