that’s the question. Josh plays small in big games, not that he had any help from the RB’s or OL. no nastyness in either line. our most “nasty” player is Allen.

he is Marvin Lewis. Good, not great. will beat middle level teams and lose to great ones. As the OP said, we might need better.

I agree on not blitzing, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn’t be able to stop the run. The D has been abysmal all year. And I agree, the offense was terrible. Allen has failed twice in back to back big games. Franchise WB’s don't do that, IMO. he is on a Ps??? inexcusable not to sign him. I thought that also, but I don’t see how beating a glorified college team helps you get right. false confidence perhaps. we haven’t had a great team in a long time, it’s warranted.

appreciate that perspective, and we did need to do better on O. but you need to stop the run and pass. the D was the problem, it let KC drive down the field to make it a 2 score game. The O was also subpar, but the D has been a season long issue.

schedule rearrangement is a poor excuse for a championship caliber team—which this team is not. Tenn had a much bigger disruption and won 2 straight. Beating the Jets proves nothing, IMHO.

Bush’s backup looked pretty good today. Bush is elite, but I think they have a decent backup. That D is loaded.

Watching the Braves blow this Dodgers series I had a familiar feeling. Oh, it’s from being a Bills fan since about 1988! So close, multiple chocking. Hopefully we reverse that this year.
