The Bills faced some good defenses in the pre-season (outside of the Lions, who saw the Bills' backup offense) to be sure. They also didn't have Owens for more than the first series in the first game. His presence changes the entire offense.

Hey, we're all just glad that Seymour is out of the division, for the first time this decade. We'll take the Bills not having to face him for the 2 years the Patriots will have to wait to use that pick in the 2011 draft. His absence weakens the Patriots, which isn't a good thing for the Patriots considering their secondary is weak and their LB'ing corps is ill-suited to the 3-4 now.

During the telecast last night, Big Ben took the blame for all the sacks his O-line gives up, because he's always waiting for a play to develop. But the difference between he and Trent is that Big Ben can take the pounding. Oh and Max Starks shutdown Kyle Vanden Bosch.
