    Great.

Another brainwashed teabagger who knows nothing of football, country or politics.

    Go read a book.

  2. Donte Whitner never stops impressing after saying on www.buffalobills.com that Tim Tebow will win a SuperBowl.

Because Donte Whitner by far is the best secondary player to ever play for Buffalo and has made huge play after huge play for the Bills, I'm taking him at his word. :censored:

Here are ten quotes (real and made up) that predict the reality of our team!

We will even go to Canada to watch our team lose. We will continue to write on Buffalo Bills Forums and hope the team doesn't sign slow-footed defenders or players who don't know how to run routes. We will forever hate the Cowboys and any team that has won a championship. We love players like Steve Tasker and Don Beebe because they represent the common man of Buffalo. We have a love/hate relationship with Scott Norwood. We will withstand the hypothermia of frigid weather to cheer our team on. But, deep-down inside we know that the Bills will never win a championship, just like we hope and wish our Federal Goverment was truly interested in our lives, but they are not." Bills Fan

    My quote:

"Tim Tebow will win a SuperBowl as a backup for a team that has won the SuperBowl in the last 30 years already."

#7 does not make sense at all.

    #11 Speak for yourself, BillsFan.

  3. Pat Williams testifies that a Bills trainer told him Starcaps was legal

since PW left the Bills after the 2004 season and Jones joined the Bears in 2005, who was it? How many "trainers" were on the team in those days?

I have nothing but respect for Rusty Jones, I'm asking a legitimate question...

Maybe the trainer thought they WERE legal.

Evidently, other players have used it without suspension( I heard 6 players used it w/o suspension (FAN 590).

  4. I am not his biggest fan but he does, on occassion, make some good points.

Cowhered believes that lack of spending in free agency and player movement is a strong indication that the owners believe that there will be a strike in 2011.

Both sides are foolish - they are going to kill the golden goose.

Just to clarify... it would be a lockout not a strike.

There is a big difference even though the result-no football- is the same.

  5. I hope its bullsh*t..its funny how you clowns wanted pennington, thigpen, derek anderson, chris redman and even kevin kolb some even think broom is better..HAHA yea right they could't even shine mike vicks shoes...you people a pathetic...i bet some of you think ben rothlesburger has higher character as a rapist to LOL...you'd love him in a bills uniform tho...

    Yep.

    And dump Lynch.

  6. In Mr. King's MMQB column he stated if Ben Roethlisberger is at fault he needs to grow up. This was of course on page four of his column. A two time SB winning QB is accused twice of sexual assault and he "needs to grow up". There is no other way to describe how the media is treating this story other than pure racism. I am white and I can see it. Marshawn Lynch is a "thug" because he had a gun is his car. How many Bubba's down South have a frickin gun rack in their truck. San Diego trades away Cromartie because he has 7 kids - all by consensual sex. Larry Johnson makes some anti-gay slurs and he is vilified/suspended. All black, all non-crimes or minor at worst. If you are white and a QB apparently 20 year old girls are pieces of meat. Peter King has a daughter for Christ sake. I loathe Michael Vick but as others have said before he would have been better off commiting rape than killing a dog. Unless of course it was a white girl. In which case in Atlanta he would have been lynched.

    How about a few facts:

Marshawn Lynch broke the law- more than once.

Cromartie traded because he has 7 kids? Are you sure about that or are u just guessing? Do u think that fact he quit on his team last year had anything to do with his release?

Vick killing a dog? Wrong again, Sparky. Try interstate gambling, money laundering and killing and torturing MANY dogs.

Stick to THE FACTS and find some better people to support than Lynch, Cromartie, Johnson and Vick.

(I think u forgot to defend Brandon Marshall and his women beating).

  7. TE has won close to 50% of his games despite pathetic coaching and General management, Fitzpatrick has won 9 out of his last 12 games and Brohm is almost a complete unknown, but many, myself included believe Brohm shows good composure and has all the necessary tools needed to have success in the NFL.

So with all due respect the Bills have a good group of QB's to work with in my opinion

    Close to 50%?

Do you mean 7-9 or 6-10?

Let me know when he reaches 50%.

  8. There is a clear double standard in sports based on race. Why do people have such a hard time admitting it.

Why does Tiger have to apologize on TV for marital problems.

How many white golfers have done this...I'm sure some of them have had marital issues.

Kobe was slammed due to his Denver outing..maybe rightly so.

Roger Clements lied to the grand jury no problem.

Mark McGwire lies by not telling the truth...no problem.

There were eyewitnesses in both cases.

Barry Bonds gets indicted without the same amount of evidence and faces jail time.

They just can't find an eyewitness unlike McGwire and Clements.

In Ben's defense until charges are pressed these are mere allegations thet anyone can make.

People do play on perception and history. Until charges are pressed I won't take it to serious.

    Tiger Woods?

Really? That is your example of racism?

A half black, half Asian billionaire who is one of the most famous people in the world?

Kim Kardashian has more black in her.

There is plenty of real racism around.

    Don't try so hard.

  9. Not suprisingly espn/espnradio is not really reporting this story or trying to downplay it.

If he was black, ESPN/ESPN Radio, along with Nancy Grace and others, would have him tried and convicted by now.

Two-Time Super Bowl winner accused of rape for the 2nd time!!!

WTF!! If he was black - espn and other networks, would break into coverage of whatever is being showing on all their networks - and talk about nothing but this for the next year.

First of all, Rev. Sharpton, this happened last night, today is Saturday morning (not regular news coverage) and he wasn't accused or charged with rape.

BTW, I have heard plenty of coverage of it- let it play out... with facts which you (or anyone) do not have at this point.

  10. Why do you want a veteran QB. It's not like were going to the superbowl next year. We need to draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th (Pike or Lefevour or Skelton) and let them ride the pine and learn the NFL while Brohm, Edwards, or Fitz get sacked to death. We are in for a 3-5 year building mess here. No vet QB in their right mind would want to come here to play behind a line that does'nt even a tackle on the roster.

    3-5 years?

If they draft a OT with #9, (Wood Rd1), Levitre(Rd2) Hangartner and a FA OT.

A decent QB will make that line look OK in the short term and maybe pretty good eventually.

The NFL is not a great league.

5 year plans are long gone.

  11. Winners are not build on a sense of urgency -- or panic. They are built by not sh---ing the bed on draft day, which is what the Bills have done for most of the last ten years.

    Urgency does not mean panic.

40+ years... 2 franchises.... ZERO CHAMPIONSHIPS.

How's that plan working out for ya?

I think 2016 is going to be a great year!

  12. You are correct that Jauron is one of the worst coaches in NFL history -- I would honestly rather have Joe Walton. But don't you think that Edwards' decision making was greatly influenced by what he was told in practice everyday from his insanely conservative coach? Edwards was probably inundated with 'any result except a turnover' over and over again.

And anyone who doesn't understand that 2010 is a rebuilding year in Buffalo -- regardless of who is playing QB -- is setting themselves up for disappointment.

Right, but i also think some of the lack of risk taking is who Trent Edwards is. It will be a rebuilding year, no doubt, but why does it have to be mind numbing boring football?

How about some points, some entertainment?

A first down shouldn't be a major accomplishment.

  13. How do you know what will happen? Can you see the future? Yea its possible TE wil be the same old TE, but this is an entirely new staff. Use this draft to fix the O-line and D-line, then address QB next year. Do you really think they will go to the superbowl (or even the playoff's) if they sign a vet QB? LOL!

    Superbowl?

Who said anything about a Superbowl?

How do I know what will happen?

    Call it an educated guess.

    Here's a news flash, Sparky...

They don't have a FREAKIN' QUARTERBACK!

Address the QB next year? Exactly.

Thank you for making my point that this will be a wasted year if they address the QB NEXT year :wallbash:

Get back to me when they reach .500

  14. With the Bills coaching staff last year how can all of the blame be on Trent. Yes he was captain check down, but how much of that was weekly prep from the Head Coach that was more conservative than Rush Limbaugh. He really had no QB coach and AVP was two years removed from the broadcast booth. Not exactly a receipt for success. Look at Eli Manning before Chris Palmer became his QB coach. Fans in New York swore he was adopted. Drew Brees was shown the door in San Diego before he landed in New Orleans (Rivers was drafted after Brees' 3rd season). If you look at the first 5 games from the 08 season you see a QB with great ability and huge upside. Is Trent the answer, I am not sure. But he has had a terrible support staff and some of the most pathetic coaching in the history of a team that is known for pathetic coaches. It would be nice to see what Trent can do with a real coaching staff. Do we have that in Buffalo this year is a diffrent question.

Dick Jauron is one of the worst coaches in NFL history- that is fact based on his record. However, there were plays to be made and Edwards was so hestitant and played with such a lack of confidence that a lot of the blame is his.

Maybe new coaching or a sports psychologist will help him.

It's not his arm it's his head.

Just seeing Jauron made my blood boil- I couldn't imagine playing for him.

  15. Relax dude. Its just a strategy. They have no intention of Ellison being on the 53 man roster in September. Teams are not tendering their restricted free agents because they want to keep them. Their only value to their team is "trade value" , and thus posturing to use these players as trade bait. If they don't get what they want in a trade, they will be released.

In Ellison's case, he is highly regarded as a cover linebacker. And, he does have 3 years of NFL starting experience. Someone with a 4-3 defense that needs a linebacker may very well give up a player or 5th or 6th round draft pick.

So, rest assured... Ellison's jersey will be worn by someone else come September.

Keith Ellison is to trade value as Marshawn Lynch is to intelligence.

  16. Well - he does have a reputation. I've worked in places where a fellow was competent at his job - but you always were uneasy that he was a ticking time bomb, and wondered about how his next explosion would manifest itself.

The Bills need a "ticking time bomb", some attitude, some swagger.

Maybe the Sabres will pick him up.

    Let's face it...

in this this town we have two soft teams who are WAY too comfortable.

  17. Lee Evans is the most overpaid, and overrated player the Bills have ever had on their roster. He earns 9 Million/year and gives us little in return. He never shows up in big games, and never takes a leadership role. I would rather have 20 other recievers that would come at a cheaper price.

If the Bills could get 3rd, or two 4th round draft choices I would take it and run!

    Does anyone share my sentiments?

    No.

You obviously have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
