  1. How do we build a new team by trading draft picks for a veteran QB??

I mean, sure, McNabb's a gamer but I just don't see how trading needed picks for a mid-30's QB will turn the fortunes of the team around.

Because you can't win without a QB.

I really don't care about 3 years from now. I want the Bills to play offensive football that is not mind numbing boring and incompetent.

Ten years since the last playoff game- the last playoff win in Bill Clintons first term?

I think we've waited long enough.

    Bring him in.

  2. Not saying the guy will be good, but why are we to assume he won't?

Because Mike McCarthy, god of all that which is QB, put him on the practice squad?

    Is that really the reason?

    Are we?

I don't think anyone, including most of the NFL know much about B.Brohm.

For all we know he may be the best QB on the roster.

    Or the worst.

    Good Luck B.B.

  3. It's not just one thing with Maybin, it's a collection of things with him that irks the fans sentiment toward them. If Maybin showed some promise last season no one would care what he's doing, the problem is he looked like a boy playing with men last year. Factor in that in his most recent pictures he looks like a bulked up WR, Bills fan are generally worried that this guy is quickly becoming a bust.

I didn't like Maybin coming into the draft last year, and I still don't. Dude has the swagger and attitude f an All-Pro and the only thing he's done so far in his 1 year is embarrass himself.

    You might be right.

    Blame the"experts" who drafted him.

  4. Wasn't he essentially hurt most of the year?

Didn't he look pretty solid in his limited action while he was healthy?

I'm interested in hearing what I missed watching the games - I don't remember ever being very upset with what I saw from him, but maybe I've forgotten.

It just seems like so much of the screaming about the state of our offensive line was ignoring the fact that 3/5 starters were out much of the year.

Please - tell me which games I should look back at - I have them recorded - to find where Bell sucks - particularly for a guy coming in with so little experience and room to continue developing physically.

Considering he had never played in the league before I actually thought he played pretty well. He was put in a very difficult position and held up well for the most part. I would MUCH rather see him playing than Kirk Chambers who is absolutely horrific.

There is a place for an improving D. Bell on the Bills.

  5. I dont mean to offend anyone who battled this condition but how depressed can you be as a young 27 year old making millions of dollars a year playing a sport? I know there is probably more that we dont know about but still...

You can be young, rich, good looking etc... and suffer from all sort of mental illness- including depression.

  6. per rotoworld

    Eagles released OL Shawn Andrews.

Andrews, a first-team All Pro in 2006 and a Pro Bowler as recently as 2007, has missed all but two games over the last two seasons due to multiple back operations and depression. He's only 27 years old and was due a modest $2 million salary, but the Eagles clearly grew tired of Andrews' mental and physical problems. He'll get another chance elsewhere, assuming he wants to. It's believed Andrews may no longer be interested in football.

This guy sounds perfect for the Bills.

    Suffering from depression?

    Join the Buffalo Bills!

  7. Well, the byrd probably IS overrated...not saying he's bad, but the sheer number of balls thrown right at him or tipped to him probably make him overrated.

In other words, don't be shocked next season when he doesn't get 9 INTs again.

That's probably right, but unlike most of his teamates he actually made plays. He did the same in college. How is the rest of his game?- not sure, but it is more than luck that he often winds up with the ball in his hands.

  8. In 2010 the Bills finished 6-10. I believe without T.O, or veteran improvments to our O-line, and D-line, the Bills will not be able to win 4 games. My faith has been questioned by the organizaton's refusel to ATTEMPT to improve vital areas of this Football Team. I know the free agent market is not overflowing with talent, but I find it hard to believe there is not a trade that can be made that would benefit the Bills.

The Bills have given me no reason to get excited about the 2011 season. How do you feel about the 2011 season's promise?

    Well said.

I think people are desperate to be the least bit excited about this team but why should anyone be excited?

There is still a chance for movement-especially around the draft but I am not overly optimistic.

    (btw, isn't this year 2010?)

  9. I know everyone has that guy they hope and pray falls to us at #9: Clausen, Okung, McClain, etc..

But, who's that guy that you'll just absolutely LOSE IT, if the Bills draft with our first pick? Someone who may actually go in the top 15 or so.. Mine is Dez Bryant. Would having a big, strong, physical WR be nice to have? Sure. but, not with your 1st rounder when you are starting full-on rebuilding mode.

Some of the guys from the past few drafts, I was praying the guys at One Bills Drive were going to pass up..

    2009 - Maybin (wanted Orakpo)

2008 - Limas Sweed, Malcolm Kelly or Devin Thomas (wanted Sedrick Ellis)

2007 - Lynch (wanted Okoye or Patrick Willis)

So have at it, fellas.. Who's the guy that'll make ya throw your universal remote through your TV?

Willis was not on the board when the Bills picked Lynch.

  10. No.... It's supposed to be winning.

    Oh really?

    How's that going?

    Losing is one thing.

Losing and being incredibly boring and absolutely incompetent on offense is quite another.

The Bills are selling a product.

    Why should I buy it?

Sorry, but having one of the worst offenses in football every year is getting very old.

And , Btw, they are NOT winning.

  11. Really why not? The only problem with TO is that he sometimes went half speed- actually I hate that. D. Revis called him "a slouch".

However, he can still play and without him the Bills have to be the most boring team in football.

It IS supposed to be entertainment.

  12. You had better read the Declaration. The majority does not want this bill but they are going to cram it down our throughts. Do you realise that parts of this bill are believed to tell you what kind of food you can eat. My ancestors signed the declaration and fought for our freedom from the British. What country did your family imigrate from. You apperantly got hypnotized not me.

    A little paranoid?

    Unabomber.

  13. I'm usually negative about the Bills, because they are awful. However! I see a ray of light in the 3-4 if we can get Kennedy and draft a Fat NT.

    Here's my dream:

    ROLB Schobel

    LOLB Maybin

    MLB Mitchell

    MLB Poz

    DE Stroud

    DE Kennedy

    DT Fat Draftee (Cody?)

That set up could be killer. Seriously.

Any more guys playing out of position?

Maybe Ellison can move to SS.
