  1. Story out of Georgia this week. A private landowner, has a large garden in his backyard. He would grow quite a bit of produce, and when he would give the surplus to his neighbors, he was charged and went to court over it. The court decided that he could not give those vegetables to his neighbors.

NY City dictator Michael Bloomberg created the salt ban. Restaurants are not allowed to use salt in any recipe.

    California has banned trans fats.

These are not centralized motions made by 1 agency. Yet. These are gradual, regional erosions of freedom of choice, in little nuggets here and there.

I'm not old enough for Medicare. But I honestly think there shouldn't be any.

And let me offer you some advice....turn off the GE owned MSNBC, NBC, and CNBC. Chris Matthews is seriously deranged. Saul Alinsky was an evil, evil dude.

    Fine.

Tomorrow morning call Medicare and opt out.

Call Social Security and opt out.

Make a sign and go to the nearest VA Hospital.. "Keep the US Socialist Government out of our Healthcare".

If you don't... you're just a teabaggin' hyprocrite.

    Case closed.

  2. Yeah sure.

Wanting a smaller government, accountable to the people, cutting spending and taxes so as to allow the private sector to flourish and allow this country to grow again (and in effect, for people to have JOBS) is sure out of control. And man, wanting to return to the values inherent with the great men who founded this nation sure is a thing only jerks would subscribe to.

    @$$.

You should shake the cobwebs off that thing attached atop your neck before its too late. I'd say the globalist/marxist plan used by BOTH parties over the past 20 or so years to move towards global governance is truly foolish, truly jerks (to put it mildly) moving us in that direction, and truly out of control.

Ah, but I digress. Mike in Horseheads loves Big Brother telling him he can't eat salt, can't drink Coca Cola, can't eat a Big Mac, can't eat butter, can't grow vegetables in his own backyard and give the excess to his neighbors, can't dig in the sand at a beach in FL. Pretty soon can't buy normal light bulbs. To save the environment, you know. A slow erosion of liberty under the guise that a bureaucrat knows better than you. What's that saying from WW2? First they came for the gypsy? Then they came for the crippled? Then they came for the Pole, the Russian, the Frenchman. When they finally came for me, I cried out and looked for help, but there was nobody left to come to my aid.

Mike, if you love a government that wants to tell you what to do "for your own good", with a socialist/ communist/ marxist leadership, then why don't you move to a country that practices these things?

-oh, but this is a site about football.

    Wow.

If I may ... let me offer you some advice.

Turn off Fox "News" and Rush Limbaugh.

I hate to bring up facts but maybe you can tell us what government agency told you not to eat butter, or a Big Mac or grow vegetables.... etc...

Remember, this isn't Fox "News" so I will appreciate a specific answer- (which you will not provide).

I bet you're the guy with the sign "Keep the Government out of my Medicare".

    :wallbash::wallbash:

  3. I was so pissed when Matthews got his last sack and he made it a point to squat over Edwards on the ground and do a tea bagging move.. Since when did that become acceptable? I've seen the replay a few times and it pisses me off more every time I see it.. I have no problem with a little celebration to but to squat over another player like that is total BS.. He should be fined in my opinion... and he should have been penalized..

    End rant..

When are the Bills going to stop looking for the NFL to be their daddy?

They're laughing at us... they're teabagging us...

F* that... go up to someone, go up to Clay Matthews and punch him in the f*ing face.

Jesus H. Christ... have some damn pride.

  4. I'm sitting here laughing at all the "Fitzpatrick is our savior" posts. Do you guys REALLY think this team will be any better with Fitzpatrick as quarterback? Fitzpatrick is nothing more than a bench warmer on any team in the league and we won't score any more points with him in there than we have with Edwards. Why? Well for one our offensive line is GARBAGE. Our WR's suck. The offense is just bad and any of you that truly think this is a GOOD thing or a season changing thing are kidding themslves. We still aren't going to win a game and we still suck. I can't wait until both of these bums is gone and we get a real quarterback and maybe some real linemen. Period.

    Here's what I know...

    Edwards can't play.

Fitzpatrick is basically a backup and not only a better QB than Edwards a better FOOTBALL player than Edwards.

Fitzpatrick won't run out of bounds on the last play of the game- no matter the score.

The Bills are a complete mess but they will move the ball better with Fitzpatrick.

    It's hard not to.

  5. CJ Spiller - 8 rushes for 9 yards...8 catches for 31 yards...ZERO TOTAL TOUCHDOWNS IN 2 GAMES!

    Jahvid Best - 31 carries for 91 yards...14 catches for 170 yards...FOUR TOTAL TOUCHDOWNS IN 2 GAMES!

    :wallbash::censored::wallbash::censored::wallbash::censored::wallbash:

Even Dexter McCluster would have been a better choice for our team, later in the draft!

Hi! I'm a dumba$$ and I can't think of a good thread to start.... how about something really stupid and shortsighted.

  6. The Bills are not a good team obviously, but they are the same 6-7 win teams that get blown out on the road to good teams as they have always been.

If you want to overreact after losing to everyone's Super Bowl pick, then fine, but the team will play better against non playoff teams.

Miami going into Minnesota andupsetting the Vikings also tells me Miami is the real deal. We just arent on their level and no one should be shocked we are 0-2. NE will be ugly like always as well. It will take time.

    Just stop it.

    Seriously.

  7. :D

I am gonna go out on a limb and say this, but if we had a decent QB in there, we could have won this game! No doubt. They couldnt stop Lynch or Jackson until they started loading the box. The o-line wasnt that bad. EDWARDS is bad. NOT the o-line. Edwards. Well, -yes the o-line is bad, but cmon, you cant tell me that if we had a guy like Rodgers in there at QB we wouldnt at least come within a TD of winning. Please Gailey, Please put Fitzy in. This team has pieces in place, but its missing the most important one. We were only down 13-7 at half, and had 2 DRIVES where we couldve taken the lead. Let me tell you this. This can be a good team. We can be a very good team. But only if we get a good tackle and a QB. The rest will take care of itself.

Could you do me a favor?

    Find a hammer.

    Take the hammer.

    Smash your computer.

    Repeat.

    87 times.

    Then fix your husband dinner.

    :D

  8. Ive been going at it all day with Packers fans On espn all day. I got sick of reading all the bills bashing and decided to let them have it cause i.m a die hard bills fan and will stick up for are team. I.m the only bills fan on there so anybody who wants to help me out on there go to espn week 2 picks. Then scroll down to where you see where all the staff picked greenbay to win. Then click in the little box on the left that says buf vs greenbay then click on conversations. I,m Cuze32 on there. Some of you will probably think i'm crazy but dammit somebody's gotta stick up for are team

    Why?

Seriously, go for a bike ride, read a book or fly a kite.

Defending the Bills is like defending herpes.

  9. Did you see the play where Maybin ran his "stunt" and instead of taking the direct line to the QB, which was actually CLEAR, he tried to run around the outside and ended up about 10 yards to the right of Rodgers? I actually laughed at that one, it was so obvious. The guy has a coconut for a brain.

I know he hasn't played a lot and I don't have an Ivy League education like Jauron and Levy but this guy can't play in the NFL.

    I've seen enough..

    Maybin is a BUST!

  10. Fitzpatrick is ahead of Brohm on the depth chart. Brohm sucks, give it up already.

If they do anything, the Bills should cut Brohm & bring in someone who can actually start a game & get a touchdown. Brohm=no touhdowns. The guy has NEVER thrown a TD pass even though he's played against guys in exhibition games who are now directing traffic in the parking lot.

    Brohm sucks?

    Maybe, maybe not.

How enlightened to form your opinion on a "depth chart". Right, let's give Trent a few more years.

BTW, Brohm was also PLAYING with guys who are now directing traffic in the parking lot.

Here's what I do know... Edwards can't play and you know nothing about football.

    Who are you, Dick Jauron?

  11. Yup, Jauron got the last word. From the Mark Gaughan article:

Why Donte Whitner (a productive player) over Haloti Ngata (a great player)? I can't blame that one on Modrak. Jauron and his staff did not want Ngata and insisted he did not fit the scheme.

And Jauron (hired by Levy) wanted Maybin instead of Orakapo.

    Ivy League, huh?

  12. The Bills should CUT Trent Edwards.

The guy can't play- do we really need to see more?

This is also the last year of his contract- are the Bills actually going to sign him to a 3 or 4 year extension?

    No.

So what's the point of wasting more time with a guy who can't play who won't be here next year.

Cut him and hand the keys to Brian Brohm.

    Maybin, you're next.

  13. I hate him for everything he did to this franchise. He was out-coached in all four Super Bowl games. He hired the undead to be the HC. Watching Ngata destroy the Jets offensive line and remembering how poorly and dirty Whitner played yesterday makes my head feel like it is going to explode. Don't tell me he was a figure head. He was in charge. The fact that he is now no where to be seen suggests he probably had the beginning stages of dementia and is probably gumming his food right now. Remember when Ralph had to tell him he couldn't be the GM and head coach. All the failed FA signings and wasted draft picks on trading up to get players no one wanted in the first place. I truly believe his name should be taken down off the wall until the Bills make the playoffs again. His tenure needs to be exorcised just like the Bartman ball needed to be blown up. His name should be pulled off the wall followed by a moment of silence and a joyous rebirth.

How dare you criticize Marv Levy!

I remember the Ngata draft very well.

Evidently, the Bills didn't want him because they wanted smaller, quicker players to fit their "scheme".

    Brilliant!

  14. Did anyone else pick up on Nix's MMQB Club question and answer session when he was asked about comparing McNabb's vettern performance in the win vesus Edwards' skitish performmance in our loss? His answer started out with something about McNabb's completion percentage (being less than or right about 50%) and said that those stats won't win you many games. Then went on to say, "I'm not a Donovan McNabb guy." He then backtracks to talk about how McNabb is a professional and has done it for a while.

I thought it was interesting that he said he wasn't a fan of McNabb, given all of the talk about trading for him in the offseason and how we were supposed to be after him. I wonder if that was true. I wonder if Nix thinks McNabb is past his expiration date so to speak.

If Nix thinks Trent is better than McNabb he should be fired immediately.

He should then be admitted to a mental institution in Vienna where the world's finest doctors can examine his brain...like they did with the Elephant Man.

  15. Yes.

You might get lucky and have no problem- I usually don't but we have a good crowd around us and park in a small, friendly private lot.

The NFL and the Bills basically allow anything- public drunkeness, lewdness, massive littering, harassment etc... Law enforcement can only do so much.

Some people are just complete ass*****.

Add alcohol and a crowd mentality and well,.. good luck and enjoy the game
