  1. Hahahaha. No. He played very well and had poor tackling
  2. Allen's deep ball will get there when we successfully put two guys where they belong. Knox on the outside flat and Kincaid wherever we can get him. If we can make this offense something that can and WILL attack an entire field than we can be successful with Davis as an outside number 2 read because DB's are going to be turning their heads Side note...Kincaid makes me fascinated. If I'm Dorsey I have him running deep seam routes splitting safety. Make the defense account for him as an unknown.
  3. it's hard to have your number 2 read as an outside wr against an aggressive defense without having underneath routes. the problem is not simply davis, it's where he plays and how he fits our offense.
  4. I did not see it early. I may rewatch this game. Hackett showed the ability to change his style midgame, very unlike him. Once they got confidence in Hall and he got confident with himself it changed the game. I definitely noticed Rapp being the leader of the defense when he moved in the box. Adjusting players, calling out formations, etc. Very interesting.
  5. interesting that we had 8 man fronts on defense with Rapp in the box as MLB at many points.
  6. a good coach and coordinator don't call plays their qb won't make. lamar jackson is a great example. look at what roman calls there and developed? look at what coordinators do with their talent and rosters. ask yourself this: when you blame allen do you realistically have a way you can discipline or suddenly instill discipline not to play his backyard gung ho style? short of benching him there isn't much to do here. dorsey is up in the booth. mcchump doesn't have the scrote or ability to criticize him. brady is not experienced enough. think back to rothlisberger in pittsburgh? he would get into screaming matches on the sideline when his coaches would hold him accountable. mahomes would go after that oc a few years back. brady, etc. dabol got onto josh a while back but josh didn't fight back because he was growing - sure josh could have done better, and daboll wasn't perfect but i firmly believe we would be better off with daboll today than mcchump.
  7. dabol outlasts mcchump in buffalo save this receipt.
  8. if McChump is some great coach for defense why isn't he seeing the game film and seeing what we are doing wrong on offense to tell us how to fix it? is he watching our tape on offense? he was a great culture changing coach but he's not a championship coach.
  9. i've been saying mcd is the wrong coach since 13 seconds and been getting blasted by it. but, people are coming along to it.
  10. so whats your solution besides bitching? you don't pull him out of the starting lineup. you don't cut or trade him. you coach him. you coach the team. you ride his ass if you need, also. daboll went after him several times and really got josh pissed. regardless, it's going to take something - and i am not sure McChump has the answer. short of just let Josh figure it out - i don't know what they'll do. and that's probably best. let josh learn the hard way. i'm not ready to give up on Dorsey. i double down every time and it's getting ridiculous. but i saw dorsey bring the best out of Cam Newton who many found uncoachable. Allen isn't Newton but i have faith that dorsey can still do something.
  11. it's not McChump. what can a coach do besides bench him? grow a pair of balls and make sure the right calls are made that he won't play hero ball. surround him with talent and schemes that work. confront him and do things in the film room. and yes, if he is going to play that poorly, bench him. i would have last night after the 4th INT when it was clear we'd lose.
  12. it was josh who made that throw but it was dorsey who allowed that playcall to go in when josh was playing poorly. it was mcchump on the side who didn't work with josh on what to do - maybe he was too busy clapping or studying Defense 101 against a Arena League QB? think of this - in KC do you think Reid just goes and says 2 words to Mahomes after poor play? What about the jerk coach in Cinci after burrow? does any coach not approach and work on his QB when he comes off the field and plays poorly? McD can't do this because he has to coach do something defense.
  13. the coach needs to understand his athletes, coach them up, rein them in, prop them up, kiss their ass, stroke their ego, burst their bubble, shake them loose, JUST ***** COACH THEM. these coaches have not been able to - dabol did. this argument is saying that we value mcchump and dorsey more than allen.
  14. we keep having people say this. do we really want to or expect that josh allen does not play or gets replaced because he makes mistakes? he's a top 10 talent on the nfl field. you have to coach to him, or find he coach who can coach to him. i haven't given up on Dorsey yet because he successfully coached Cam Newton who was even more uncoachable - but that was at QB coach not OC. McChump i was done on two years ago.
  15. You need a coach who can coach one of the top 10 players in the league. What's hard to understand? You can't force a round peg through a square hole.
  16. Wgr just nailed it. If you're scheming guys open, if you're calling good plays and the QB ain't running it in structure then you need a new OC. I've been saying this for a long time. This is separate from McChump.
  17. McDermott has been allmover Josh to play smart and play better. It's a tight line to walk but McChump needs to be coaching these players, overseeing his play calling which fell apart int he second half. McChump is the top of this system. Josh lost the game but why did we totally flip play calling in the second half? Was McDermott able to pay attention to that when he was busy letting Breece hall run all over his defense or let a backup shittier QB beat him?
  18. His defends will come out and blame Josh, Davis, someone. The reality is Josh needs the right coach, the right system supporting and guiding him. Josh is a phenomenal athlete - one you build a team around and coach the system to success as a concept. McChump can't do this. It's not about Dorsey, it's top to bottom so you start back at the top.
  19. My dream was firing McChump and keeping Daboll It's in this teams nature since the meltdown on each other in KC post 13 seconds.
  20. What's to the point comes and it's time to ditch Dorsey. How the hell is McDermott going to survive getting an interim OC that I'll have to watch over all the while calling the defense and being the head coach? Strategically this is a poor idea that was enacted
  21. McChump ain't the answer. We need to retool because our window closed on the first phase. Get Josh the help he needs. Get a real DC, get a headcoach who can manage games and coach, get Dorsey help.
  22. The playcalls lol Did we get hackett calling our plays after halftime?
  23. Keep feeding diggs
  24. They were asleep. They're talented. Their loss pales in comparison to thar. Imo
