Nah. This isn't the whole story here.

Here's the thing. Yes, it was too bad that he had to leave back in...what November?  Then he popped back in once in March.

Fast forward to the last day or so where he came back...to troll people. Behind a renamed account. One of his responses were to someone he accused of being triggered by 3 writers...John was one of those 3. Used the phrasing "them" as if he wasn't one of them himself.

Imagine being a reporter for the AP and coming on a team message board while trying (and failing) to hide it was you.  It's something like this that makes people question his credibility in the first place.

Yes he has provided great insight on things. He also attacks people that dare question something he cryptically puts out there in the world wanting more clarification. Both can be true.

    Nothing gets past you, Billy.

Hi John!  Good to see you.  Any chance you'd be willing to Spill that Tea now about the issue to which you alluded last fall?

Nah, I'll speak up.  Wawrow is a good journalist in my book.  Good sources, puts information together to craft clear stories.  Has to be.  AP is a bastion of journalistic standards in an increasingly broad sea of slop

Graham has always written very good feature pieces.  I dislike his Twitter jousting with fans and his attitude of "thou must not criticize moi thou lowly peon" when he was here, and don't think either reflects well on him, but he still writes very good feature pieces.

Without going into too much detail, the issue last fall has done a complete 180 in the aftermath and has been a benefit to both sides in the end.

It had nothing to do with Diggs.

On a more serious note, I sincerely hope you're okay.

    No you don’t.

You’re just like all the other haters on this board, looking to score points by attacking others.

Now that I figured out how to change my account name, I’m going public with my desire to, as it reads, delete this account.

I normally wouldn't suggest that Wawrow was trying to skate by on a technicality, but there was an awful lot of smoke about Frazier's contract expiring this offseason after the Bengals loss, AND Wawrow's tweet was a little ambiguous. Now we get this bizarre story of Frazier "taking a year off" with no explanation given.

since my credibility's being questioned here, even by someone who has less  than 1,000 posts, i find it important to briefly end my exile and respond.

    dear poster:

    try using common sense here.

if Leslie wasn't under contract, the Bills would not have announced that he's taking a year off. He instead would have been replaced..

That he's taking a year off, is an indication he has one or more years left on his deal, and the Bills are allowing  him to take this year off.

Might he return with the Bills next year? Maybe. Maybe not.

But all this innuendo and reading into things, as people are want to do here, doesn't take away from what i reported back in January.

What was ambiguous about it? How am I "skating" on a technicality?

Leslie Frazier was under contract at that time. And still is under contract.

It's really not that hard, and yet you appear to make it so.

back to my exile and awaiting the opportunity to change my name to "delete this account" because it seems impossible for that to happen.

  6. Nah.

    Here’s the deal.

It’s tough enough wading through all the ***** I do on Twitter.

I’ve been on here for a long time (but not so much of late), and have occasionally been asked to share some insight.

Here, given how much of time passed from last season, I thought I’d share something about something you folks might be interested in that I’ve come across but really doesn’t impact THIS season.

So I shared and found out that this is board is a lot like the experience of engaging with all the ***** on Twitter.

So call me thin-skinned, call me a ***** #######, or tell me that I suck, or don’t know anything, I’ll be fine with it, because it’s all been directed at me on the Twitter.

Thing is, I don’t need to go through it twice.

So this IS my last post.

    See ya.

Where is your proof it did happen?

“with how many questions I asked about vaxxing”

“I maintain that the slump last season directly  coincided with a vaxxing debate”

    So to sum up…

in your imagination, just because you kept bringing up the topic….it was therefore a massive issue in the room?

Really makes me second-guess why I even participate on this board, given that everyone has all the answers already.

More than likely my last post.

Did you ever write about Josh putting his foot down? I've never heard that specific story. Sounds like it would've been a memorable one.

I remember you asking in multiple press conferences about the vaxx issues and the team giving you the same answers every time, not giving you any interesting sound bites, but you kept beating that dead horse. And now you're still at it.

You were the only reporter who kept pushing it every week in hopes of getting something juicy. I think the players were more tired of fans and media shoving this non-issue down their throats. Beasley and the vaxx stuff was distracting, but didn't "almost tear the team apart." That's so dramatic.

Keep working at getting to the bottom of that delicious hint. I'm sure you'll find something.

    ☝️

    Was, I. goatski

    Every week?

Is that a fact or something you pulled out of your behind?

Prove it with how many questions I asked about vaxxing.

Or how about this, I’ll give you the over-under of 10.

And I maintain that the slump last season directly coincided with a vaxxing debate that continued on in the room until Allen finally out his foot down during the Tampa Bay halftime, which coincidentally led to the Bills finally getting back on track.

If you have proof it didn’t happen, please come ahead with it?

You won’t and simply provide something to move this conversation sideways or nowhere.

    Good luck with that.

Has @john wawrowposted in this thread yet? I love when he brings his BS to the board and then gets all mad when people call him out on it.

The vaxx stuff never "nearly tore the team apart" but it was a story Wawrow tried to force down our throats and now he's doubling down. He's of the belief that if you write something down enough times, it becomes fact. That's the kind of journalist he is. He doesn't chase the TRUE story, he chases what he thinks SHOULD be the story. He knows it's the perfect time to hint at trouble right now (as the team hits a rough patch) because that's when he can get the most reaction from readers. Drama, drama, drama.... It just doesn't work as well when the team is winning.

No. The Vax stuff never tore the team apart. But it almost did, contributing heavily to the mid-season slump last year until Josh Allen finally put his foot down.

As for what I hinted at, there was one more hint this week on it. ... Still working on getting to the bottom of it.

I'm not mad, except for the fact I'm wasting my time responding to, checks name, really, leGoatski.

    sigh.

Just following my instincts and what people tell me, to get to the truth. You're the one speculating on what I know and don't.

I had that question after the Whaley "I was not privy to that" interview, and someone here (might have been @john wawrow, pointed out that the "lead a horse to water" truism applies - you can make PR people available, but if the owners and the team's star QB don't want to avail themselves of advice and prior preparation, there will be "piss poor performance" in front of the cameras.

There's only so much you can do as a PR team in some situations, especially in a no-win situation like this in being saddled with a national and negative story in which the main parties involved -- QB and ownership -- seem to be tone-deaf to reality.

    Josh at the podium

Imo, Warrow is embarrassingly weak with his questions in press conferences. He gets the opportunity to ask something but he’s completely unprepared to formulate a coherent thought into an intelligent question. Been this cringe worthy his entire time here.🤦‍♂️ Thankfully for him, he WRITES for a living and can be proofread before publication. juss sayin’🤷‍♂️

Fun times. Since you're "juss sayin," why not spell my name correctly.

Also, why not refer to which questions I asked to Josh.

    Was it this one?
As you had some  downtime and you come here and see these camps are sold out. Every ticket it sold. Does it remind you quickly of the expectations that are on this team and on you and everything else?

    Or was it this one?

What about this being the next step toward achieving your and this team's high expectations? Sean said, we're here to work. But the exptectations are out there, I think somebody said Vegas has the Bills the favorite to win the Super Bowl. How is this the next step toward achieving that?

    How about this one?
You said, `You've got a new mindset.'  Can you expand on that? How has the mindset changed in some ways or maybe narrowed?

And the follow up (after he said, `We need to find a way.'):

Does that linger, the fact that this team hasn't found a way? You've found a way to get to a point, but you've not found the way to get to that. Does that linger?

Thanks for all the input. I'll be constantly hitting refresh awaiting your response, because, after all, you know better than me in how to do my job.

We are all encouraged she is out of the hospital and recovering.  The discussion of why she was ill is natural, not silly, exercise.

If my guess (based on "ICU", and "rehab" and a team of doctors) at a diagnosis is "erroneous", then correct it with fact.  That would end all speculation here.

As I answer to you, I must point out that I don’t answer to you.

🤦‍♂️ Warrow lecturing on off the cuff commentary. That’s Rich! With Zero information being provided as to the cause of Ms. Kims’ plight, Of Course people are going to  speculate. Lest you be privy to the actual diagnosis, speculation is derived from base knowledge and personal experience. In this case, she’s the owner of the single reason we spend time here every day.
Get off your high horse, jw. You’re not worthy.

Why is it rich that I ask for people here to have a semblance of tact in light of the situation.

It’s. personal and private issue, not a pending free agency signing.

Jessie Pegula's Wimbledon match was just announced as canceled for today. Probably not a great sign

Why, because it's getting late in London and officials decided to push two matches to the next day out of fairness to the winners of each match so they can get the same amount of rest before having to face each other?

My God you are and always have been a Summer Breeze French shower. Maybe if you held yourself to the standards you're expecting on a message board, you would be a relevant Bills reporter.... but you're not.

The staff doesn't like you. The players dislike you, and you sound like you took a speaking class from Doug Whaley.

I put freaking stars and a disclaimer before, as a do with the information what you'd like. You didn't like it, so disregard. Pretty easy

Oh, where to begin with this word salad of a post, in which you deem me irrelevant yet relevant enough in which you deem me worthy enough to respond, before, of course avoid the discussion (because really you have no ground to stand), while resorting to name-calling and attempts to disparage my character.

You say you put stars and disclaimers on your speculation, and yet it’s interesting to see none here, because you’d be surprised by how the staff and players do indeed like and respect me.

Of course, you could provide proof. And yet, you provide none.

But you know that. It’s the last resort from the butt-hurt.
