kap did what he did because he wanted people to think he is somebody. He probably thought it would make him untouchable because anyone who cut him would be called a racist. Didn't work. The truth is if someone wants to be ignorant and hateful it is their right. If someone wants to take a knee or sit that is also their right. We have the God given right to do as we wish until we infringe on the liberty of another. The problem in this country at the moment and for a while is everyone wants to tell the other what they can and can't do, who they can marry, who they should worship, how they should worship, what they can and can't drink, who they should like, who they can and can't hate..............Hatred is a sad thing but it's not your decision it's theirs. Now once they cause measurable (physical, financial, (not emotional)) harm to another unprovoked then they have violated someones rights but calling someone a bad word is not violating there right in actuality punishing someone for doing so is a violation of rights and will only breed more violence

Gotcha. I do think Sammy is unproven thus far and isn't the best parallel to Steve Smith, etc. while I think OBJ would be. As in, if we had OBJ and he had similar production in Buffalo as in New York, we wouldn't have traded him.
At this point I have to resign myself to watch the season play out. Sammy could ball and make us look dumb, but it's also possible that he doesn't. It's possible we look good this year and we have the draft ammo to make some big plays next year. I think there were too many question marks with Sammy and the rest of this team to put the big money down so they took advantage of an opportunity and there isn't going to be any way to judge it until it all unfolds. We can debate this all month long but it won't mean anything until we see the results.
The only think unproven about Sammy is if he can stay healthy. When healthy I take Julio Jones and Antonio Brown over him and that's it. Talent wise he was the best in his draft class not OBJ.

Watkins I think they could have played it a bit differently.

Agree. We burned the first bridge by not taking the fifth year. Then we get rid of him for questionable value in return. If they hit home runs in the 2018 Draft I'm sure I'll feel better but right now this sucks. I'm also convinced Sammy will be a Patriot next year.
I hope so and I hope he torches this team every year til this regime is gone.

I've continued to support the team through 17 tough years. I believe we were closer than most people realized. Now forget it, 2-14 here we come. I realized earlier this year that Andy reid is a moron and I guess McD is definitely a disciple. I wasted 900 on tickets for the Panthers game. It's made worse by what we got in return. Reminds me of getting robbed in the Jason Peters trade and getting less for Lynch than the Pats got for Marone. I've already gone on the record stating Pegula is RW 2.0. What a bunch of morons. Wake me up when we hire our new GM and Coach. Bring back Whaley who comes out ahead on trades and find some way to fire Pegula. too bad the last one isn't possible. damn Russians and Bush.

Sure they positioned to do it next offseason by getting a 2nd First round pick in what should be a good QB class.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but 2 1st is the cost of signing a franchise tagged player.

Actually he didn't draft Bruce, I believe Terry Bledsoe did. As well as Reich and Reed. Not Talley or Kelly either. He did sign him when the USFL folded tho along with Kent Hull.

Yup those SB teams were the results of 3 different GMs. I don't think most people realize that.

Belichick is probably the most scheme-flexible coach in the NFL - the exact opposite of Doug Marrone. Belichick will take a backup, or third-string QB and do his best to come up with a game plan that will ensure victory - the exact opposite of Doug Marrone. They could not be more different, honestly.
Sure I can see Belichick winning 4 or 5 Superbowls with that roster. Lots of versatility there and ah ah um um yah.

Opting out is not quitting. I'm not sure how many times you need to have this told to you. When Lebron opts out of the last year of his contract, it's not quitting. It seems a simple concept.
I don't care if you're an optimist or pessimist. I just want you to be honest about why you hate Marrone. Its because you feel like he left you at the altar and no candle can compare to the sun.
If you decide to leave your job when your boss doesn't fire you then you quit. Try to redefine it if you want but he quit. He said take this job and shove it and make the check payable to Marrone. He didn't opt out to renegotiate as players do.

You're just wrong. Just as fans continue to talk about former players, they will talk about former coaches. I still don't think there are many (if any) fans who believe St. Doug was on the cusp of leading the Bills to greatness.

I don't know about versatility but if Gettleman had demonstrated some level of restraint while dealing with players he may still have a job, instead it seems he went balls deep with every decision and hurt some feelings along the way.
LMAO If he was trying to demonstrate the versatility with them that i was talking about I could understand them being so upset if they weren't into that sort of relationship.

Be careful my favorite football team plays in that area. Buffalo and The Rock aren't that bad they are just victims of poor and inaccurate information that has been poured into there heads by Liberal teachers.
