My father had season tickets, I went to a lot of games there. As the Bills got worse in the late 1960s my father would give me late season game tickets. There was nowhere to hide from the cold in that place. Saw the Chiefs beat the Bills to go to first AFL NFL Championship (Super Bowl I). One of my favorite memories has nothing to do with a game. There was no parking around the stadium, my father paid two kids to park in “their” driveway. After the game we were greeted by a very angry woman, who had been at church when kids sold her driveway. Watching my father apologize profusely was great.

Bill Belichick is such a football genius that he is 10 games below .500 in over 150 games when his QB isn’t Tom Brady.
Bill Belichick is a fraud and the most fortunate man in NFL history.
He is Jerry Glanville minus Tom Brady.
I went back and watched last two minutes of Bills game, Patriots kick a field goal and then with three timeouts let the Bills run out the clock. Belichick’s reasoning was he didn’t want to risk injury to Mac Jones. At very least a strange decision. Having a mediocre second year QB with no offensive coordinator is idiotic. I think Belichick is done.

For about half of this thread I kept thinking, “who did Jerry Rice punch?”. But this is about some other Rice.

Was yelling his name as he had the handoff and saw the hole open! Very happy for him and hopefully his confidence and confidence from the staff propels him in the later stages of the year. Really feel he could be a difference maker along w Shakir!
I was yelling his name last night, my wife told me to stop being weird.

And that's a City of thing, not Town of thing.
At least it’s not a North Tonawanda thing.
And since when is St. Joe’s in Tonawanda (Wikipedia)? I went to the St. Joe’s in Kenmore for four years, was I in the wrong place?

Wouldn’t this be an indication that White will be back sooner than later?

3-3 would be ROUGH. Man I hope it doesn't go that way.
Other than the Packers, who play us at home, is there any team in the final eleven games that scares you?

After the Packers, who on the schedule scares you?

Are you competing with @chris hefffor longest post title?
Titles should be exactly that and not a synopsis of the thread
My title was meant as a joke, prior to my post there were a couple of very verbose titles.

I am an old guy.. been watching football for as long as i can remember (Colts /.Giants 1958 , vaguely was 6).. my point.. all thru the years watching the NFL , an injury was more of a happenstance.. yesterday , it was surreal, as play after play.. we saw it.. i realize the obvious, bigger, different style, get all that.. is it simply the size of the players? And/ or technique ?
You and I are the same age, so I’ve been watching football as long as you. If yesterday’s game were played in 1958 they wouldn’t have shown guys collapsing on the sidelines. The game is safer today.

Benford can bring back the "Too Tall Jones" head slap that would leave opponents ears ringing and dizzy. Jam the WR's with a head alsp at the line to throw them off balance. 🤣
Kidding obviously... that would be a personal foul these days for a hit to the head.

On a related subject, is there any chance Crowder makes it back this year? Never really got to see what he can do.
