  1. Michael Vick got a standing ovation in Atlanta this year when he played. If those fans accepted him back. Why can't we. If he helps us win. I am all for him. I firmly believe he is a better QB than any person on our roster. Football players have proven over and over again, that they are not modle citizens. IF you expect them to be role models you are doomed for failure. Michael Vick did nothing different than what he was culturally taught his whole life. Was it right, no of course not. I personally think that beating your wife /girlfriend are way worse. Organized dog fighting has been around almost as long as people have been. HE PAID HIS DEBT TO SOCIETY. So please people come down from the clouds and get your feet back on the ground. We do not live in a perfect world with perfect people.

  2. I was only on this board because my boss used to be here before he accidentally died. I was just updating everyone on my Jets. I don't really like Sanchez, but I REALLY don't like people giving my attitude. Be careful there Charlie.

How is this Piss off than. Go find a Jets Board. Is that polite enough for you.

  3. Why do so many people think that Maybin will succeed as an OLB? This year we were decimated by injury yet Maybin continued to get 2 to 3 reps a game at DE. Don't you think if the coaching staff thought he would be a successful OLB they would have given him a shot there this past year?

I can't help but feel like Maybin would be a stud as a blitzing OLB, but the minute he needs to drop into coverage I see him getting killed. Can you see him making the play in coverage that was needed when Brady threw either of the two touchdown passes to Ben Watson in that Monday night game?

There is absolutely no chance that that happens in my opinion. I just don't see him being a capable OLB in all parts needed.

Neither was Bryce Paup, and he was still the defensive player of the year with Buffalo..

  4. "I am ecstatic to come to work for the New York Giants," Fewell said. "It's a good football team with good defensive players, and it is a franchise known for defense."

You are such a hater. You actually make it unenjoyable to visit this site sometimes. I thought it was for Bills fans. Not wanna be's. What else is he gonna say. The Giants suck,

  5. Where do they find you people? Rob Johnson was the worst quarterback ever to play in the NFL. If you remember it was Flutie who came in and turned around the Bills '98 season after Johnson screwed it up showing his ineptitude as a quarterback. Flutie came in and instantly made everyone around him better and carried the team to the playoffs. Then he did the same thing the following season until they put Johnson in in the playoffs. That game never would have come down to a music city miracle if Flutie had started over Johnson IMO because Johnson routinely missed receivers on third downs, stalling drives and doing what he did best, get sacked! Starting Johnson over Flutie that game and running Flutie out of town was the WORST WORST WORST thing this franchise has ever done and listening to all you RJ homers is making me sick!

Go eat what is left of your Flutie flakes and be happy. Flutie was the proverbal team recker that year. This is why he was run out of town.

  6. i'm predicting - sadly mind you - that the possibility of bill cowher coaching here has just ended.

ralph opened his mouth and took a shot at cowher in the media; i would think that actually means cowher turned them down; remember why polian, butler and many others have left buffalo - because ralph has some quirky trait about himself that he just can't stop meddling. when things are going too well he does something to offend people. there has to be some reason that tennessee owner gave him the finger on national television. ralph just isn't liked OR respected....

anyway, my point is, with ralph going on ESPN to say: owner unsure about cowher

it just about signals that cowher has turned us down or, if he hasn't and was just thinking about things, after reading ralph's attitude he would be well-advised to remember how ralph treated bill pollian......

bill cowher to buffalo could have died with this report.......

    ___________________________________

Bills owner Ralph Wilson confirmed the team has spoken to Bill Cowher about the team's coaching vacancy. Wilson isn't sure whether the former Steelers coach is interested in the job.

"I don't know," Wilson told The Associated Press during a brief interview from his home in suburban Detroit on Friday. "You'd have to ask him."

Just a nother, mindless, winey bitchy post from a wanna be Bills fan. In case you do not realise Ralph does not meddle he owns the team. He can do what he wants with his team. I happen to agree with him also. If you do not want to be in this environment. Than I do not want you to be the coach either. You are probably still chasing after the girl who did not want you in highschool. Unbelivable how mindless and stupid this post is. Polian left the Bills because he did not get them over the hump and win a superbowl. Butler would not resign with Buffalo because he knew that he had to jettison Bruce, Thurman and Andre. He did not want to, and forever be hated in Bills nation. Do you have any clue or did you just get picked for the Special Olympics of posting. Because you will not make the podium with this garbage. So wipe up the pile of drool, and try a little harder next time.

    then......

"We want to hire a coach who wants to come to Buffalo and be a part of the community, you know what I mean?" Wilson said. "We're looking for a guy with a lot of passion."

  7. Who on this team deserves to survive the culling that needs to happen. This is not about the front office just the players.

My ranking of the top ten who need to stay and the top 10 that need to go.

    1. Andy Levitre he deserves to survive, excellent rookie season

    2. Eric Wood, Levitre outplayed him even before the injury if healthy a building block for the future.

    3. Jairus Byrd a natural free safety ball hawk who makes tackles.

    4. Brian Morman one of the best punters in league (not withstanding the last 2 games when he was average)

    5. Shawn Nelson when he is thrown the ball he makes plays.

    6. Kyle Williams has had his best season to date.

    7. Fred Jackson. I think he will get old quick, with the way Buffalo is using him. Still a baller though.

    8. Jeff Hangartner, not the second comeing of Kent Hull. Nor is he the second comeing of Melvin Fowler either.

    9. Marshawn Lynch. he has fallen out of favor with the Bills but still very talented

    10. Lee Evans every team needs a good #2 wide receiver. This is what Evans is not a true 1

These are my top 10 players who should be the building block for the future of the Bills

Players that need to move on or be removed from the starting lineup in there current position

    1. Ryan Fitzpatrick frutiless attempt at playing QB Buffalo cannot go forward with him at the helm.

    2. Terrel Owens has not been a distraction, but has not played very hard either.

    3. Paul Pozlusny needs to move the outside, he is not a very good middle linebacker. Maybe more suited for the Outside.

    4. Donte Whitner. He has played ok at times this year just not consistent. Horrible pass interfenece call against NE.

    5. Ryan Denney almost nothing from him this year.

    6. Chris Kelsay, did you see the hit he put on the RB from ATL when the play whent right around his end. Has no

    Idea of contain.

    7. Trent Edwards, I have a feeling he will do well somewhere else, confidence shot at this time.

    8. Marcus Stroud simply not worth the money, makes very few plays over the course of a season.

    9. Roscoe Parrish, has definetly checked out on this team.

    10. Kirk Chambers cannot be your swing tackle next year.

There are many fringe players who could have made either list, but due to lack of playing time this year did not make either list. i.e. Hardy, S. Johnson, B. Butler, Nic Harris and others who have not quite played thenselves on or off of this team.

I am sure many people will disagree with me on this. So please do not just call me an Idiot, give me a reason for your disdain or approval of my list.

  8. If I were a season ticket holder I would sue for my money back. It's bad enough you have to pay full price for pre-season games but to watch back-ups ruin a perfecrt season at home is ridiculous. How many games has Peyton played without injury? The Colts will live to regret this decision.

I agree with you bad move by the colts. They let there foot of the proverbial gas. Opened the door for San Diego big time. They should have kept there confidence up.

  9. I don't think anyone wanted him dead. It is just no one should be surprised how Chris Henry's life ended. Nothing but trouble in College, five arrests after College, dies in domestic dispute. But always the excuse when he dies, he was starting to turn his life around.

If you want to stop this crap, lobby that our "institutions of higher learning" start imposing the same academic standards for every one regardless of their contributions to the sports program bottom line. If athletes want to attend College they actually have to earn it in grade school and high school classrooms before they get there. Then they actually have to attend and pass meaningful classes. Instill learning and discipline at an early age and stop pandering to these sports stars and you will see less of these tragic endings. Where we fail people like Chris Henry is giving him a free pass their whole life because he can run fast and catch a football. There is never a need to grow mentally and when they try it is usually too late.

He does not nor do we need a lecture at this time.

  10. get a clue rookie. poz is not dominant but he most certainly does not suck. he needs some friggin help.

He needs help making tackles, Poz never I mean never stonewalls anyone. When he makes contact with someone that person usually gains 2 more yards. granted Poz did force a fumble today. He was beaten badly on the first MJD TD. Really a very poor effort on his part to make a play. Overall performance slightly below average, Which is a good day for him. He does not "suck" but not much more than a journeyman at this time in his career. Will be very lucky to receive a second contract worth the same as his first one.

  11. Maybe TE is just not a winner. I am not a personal expert or wanna be GM. But out of any position, I think it is very important to look at a QB win/loss record in college. QB who were loosers in college tend to be loosers in the pro's and vice versa. This statement is not perfect and someone is going to prove me wrong with an example. I can live with that. I just think there is something to be said about people who win ball games in college. And are competive for national championships or conference championships. Can anyone think of a QB ala, TE or Jay Cutler who was a perineal looser in college who were great in the pro's? There are many QB who win in college and cannot make it in the pros. I just think hanging your hat on a proven looser is not the best option.

  12. I have an Idea lets split this board up. So all of the whiny bitches who do nothing but complain about Ralph Wilson being cheap, or Call Dick Jauron and Idiot. Or my personel favorite I want my Jason Peters back piners. Can have the forum on M, W, F. Where people who actually like and enjoy the Buffalo Bills can have the forum on Tue, Thur, Sat. I cannot take you whiny depressing bitches anymore. I know it is a free country and you can say anything you want. Just do it on your days. Let the rest of fans enjoy the Bills without all the negative dribble. GO BILLS, GO AWAY BILLS HATERS.

  13. Right! The Bills are holding their own September '09 re-draft. There doesn't seem to be any end in sight for practice squad or free agent rookie signings from the "war room" at One Billls Drive. Experienced NFL football players? "We don't need no stinkin experienced NFL football players!" must be the new mantra from the inner circle. It's like they are saying, "Hey, look how little we have to pay undrafted and late round rookies that are on other practice squads or have been cut. We can really stock up on these kids!":doh:

Go Bills!... in 2012 when the kids all grow up!

But hey, why worry? Nobody else will get injured this season, right? It's not like the Bills are going to end up with 15 or more guys on season ending IR or anything crazy like that. I mean that hasn't happened in Buffalo for what...2 years now?? These rookies will never be forced into action, right Russ???

Did you get your Patriots jersey ahhh I mean Jets jersey in the mail yet?
