The Patriots continue to lead the AFC East. With off season arrest that is.

Well I will give it to you F//k Off leave your politics out of this. Being a Republican and a Bills fan have a lot in common. Used to loosing big these days.
-
but isin't he #1 in red zone TD %. That counts for something.

Tom Brady was the best football player I have ever seen over a 5 year period in the early 2000's. I do not like him either. But I do respect him. People give credit to Beilcheat. Look it up he had a loosing record as a headcoach prior to Tammy becoming his QB.
I give all props to Brady

Big ups to you House. Excellent find. Peace and good fortune.

What stands out to me about Jeremey Shockey is what Amani Tumor said about him on Serious Radio. "he was a horrible team mate and an even worse person". That should end the Shockey debate right there.

I'm down with this provided said trombone isn't of the rusty persuasion.
I thought that was part of the hazing at harvard

Has any of my fellow posters ever been to a Euro cup game before. I am going on the 27th of June to the semi final match In the Ukraine. I Have never been to a soccer match before. And certanly not one of this magnitude. Do they tailgate there? any advice will be appreciated. Especially from the Euro Bills bloggers. Thanks all

Why isn't Fitz on the list?
Thank you.... I was waiting to see this post or one similar to this. This team went in the tank once Fitz was injured and could not play like expected. He did not go on IR granted. But he is the key to this year. But if you need an answer to your question as is. I would say Woods. If we get a full season from him the O line could be a flesh eating monster.

IMO letting Florence go when they did was a gesture of respect for a player who "done right" by us. They let him go early to give him the best chance to be picked up by another team and continue his career.
I think you always keep the better player, and I think they felt after the draft, they have enough depth even if McGee gets injured again.
I don't like TJ Graham in the 3rd round. It feels like the sort of "WTF?" out of left field "we're smarter than 30 other teams" draft choice that characterized previous regimes.
Def. a project player, and I would have preferred a "surer bet" at WR or a TE. OTOH, Bills have done their homework and he's def. one of the fastest and most nimble guys in the draft. I was hoping for a big burner guy who could go up and fight for it though.
Valid point about doing right by D. Florence. Maybe McGee does not get a contract from a different team.
-
We are all quite aware of the wildly succesfull free agency period and draft the Bills have had this off season.
But where do my fellow posters think they have come up short. Or made the incorrect choice. My only disagreement with there moves was to let D. Florence go and keep Mcgee. Why? Simple Florence was able to stay healthy and on the field. If Mcgee is healthy he is a better player. This is my only beef.

I know this is a typo and I'm not ridiculing by any means, I just think it's funny. With some of the guys on our D/O line I'm sure some of them DID eat more then the washed up old guys. Mike Williams doesn't count, he didn't give himself a chance to get washed up.
That is not exactly true Mike Williams washed up with a harpoon in him the day we drafted him.

A fast start and solid contributions by all Bills players offense and defense will certanly help. I am a supporter of Fitz. But if he falters he will take the team with him. Does he have a supper short leash? 0-2 pull him? Or ride the magic show all year long? Here is a good articlhttp://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8294f7b1/article/ryan-fitzpatrick-faces-pivotal-seasone about him. I am sure most of you have read it.

I think Leodis makes a signifigant difference for the Bills this year. I will go on record now and say he wins a game for Buffalo on Special teams alone. This is where he will shine. I would not trade him. I also think Buffalo is done tinkering with there roster. What they have now is what they will go to training camp with.
Buffalo has difference makers on Offense, Defense and now special teams.

A very good article in PFF about Andy Levitre. I could not agree with it more. He is truly a vert talented left guard. http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/05/21/secret-superstar-andy-levitre-g-buffalo-bills/. here is the link.

He was traded to Seattle for a cond pick next year. We can stop now. He will not be ours.
-
Merriman vs whoever he has to face all this coming regular season. With his injury bug the last few years, he needs to have a good season now.
My sentiments exactly thank you.

I believe the argument against bringing in Gaffney is the same as the one about bringing in Clark. We don't have a real need for an aging vet on a roster that is going to have make tough roster choices as it is. At the WR position we are going to have to cut guys that have contributed for the Bills. No need to complicate it any further.
Valid point.....Do you cut a guy like David Nelson or Donald Jones to keep him?
-
Arthur will always be a legend in Buffalo for what he did to end Favre's streak. But his time to shine was last year and he did not do it. I do not see him making the team. I think this will be the end for a lot of long standing players on this team. (Moats only a 2 year vet). I think Buffalo will do a lot of house cleaning this year

You need to chill. If you would care to look at the title of the thread, it says "Best 5TH round draft ever." That does not imply any limitation to the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers,or any other team for that matter. All I did was express my opinion, which, as long as I do not violate the TOS, I am allowed to do on this board. If you do not agree with my opinion, that is your prerogative, and you may express that too. However, I will also tell you that I am full of all kinds of veteran attitude, and how I treat you depends on how you treat me. Since you opted to blow up like a teenage girl whose mother just denied her request to use makeup, I will kindly invite you to embark on a unidirectional voyage to the infernal regions, or, if you prefer, place your lips upon my derriere and perform the act of osculation.
First off I do not need to chill. You need to be realistic and be able to put a statement in the proper context . A Bills fan was very excited about the recent draft. As a lot of us are. He expressed his enthusiasm, with a generalized statement. Which you took at a literal word and face value. And brought up Mike Webster from the 1974 draft to prove your point. How ridiculous is that. Are you one of those type of people who everytime someone says something you have to prove them wrong. Or just the type who likes to have big burly men place there lips on your derriere and perform the act of oscultation. My guess is probably both
Good point. I stand corrected.

With regard to the thread title, I would remind you that the Steelers drafted Mike Webster in the 5th round (1974). Until one or both of our guys gets 4 Super Bowl rings and ends up in the Hall of Fame, it is far from the best 5th round ever.
Who gives a flying !@#$ about Mike Webster and the 1974 draft. Quit being a stuck up little know it all. Just pull your steelers hoodie up tight and go get a Primanti brothers sandwich. Let the man be happy about the 5th round this year. As you go oogle your Mike Webster poster and clean up the mess with your terrible towel.
Another reason I genuinely like Rex Ryan
