Wouldn't it be easier for you to silence them all with a concise, factual thread listing all of the great decisions Buddy has made since he got here?

The "whipping boy" comment is pure BS. He's the GM of a failing and now flailing franchise. If you're down with that, there's another thread you can start.

    Get to work.

You know, half the reason I posted this was just to see the comments it would draw about how I'm a Nix supporter now despite not even addressing that subject. Just because I grow tired of seeing every thread turn into a Buddy bashing doesn't mean I think he is the savior for this team.

I have actually noticed that there are very few people here who think that Buddy has been successful as a GM, but those who seem to constantly bash Buddy always turn any non-Buddy bashing into the poster having Buddy manlove.

I am just saying, instead of every thread (plus the countless other threads dedicated to this topic yet to be created) we should have a special place where the "Terminally Cynical" can hang out in one place and discuss how terrible we are.

  2. This is why i highly doubt he hits FA. The Ravens will have to make the decision between Ellerbe or Kruger, and Kruger goes.

That's my thinking as well. I'm not sure I'd want Kruger if his price is what I'm guessing it will be. Ellerbe would be a great pickup for us though.

  3. I'm pretty sure that since she finished the highest a woman ever has in the Daytona 500 (all the other races/series are irrelevant to this discussion) and that she is the first woman to lead a lap under green and the first woman to take a pole position at the 500, that qualifies as history even in the most basic definition of the word. Words mean things. What Danica did was history, plain and simple. If you think that it is a meaningless piece of history or whatever, that's fine, but to say that she didn't make history is wrong. History doesn't have to impress you to qualify as history.

  4. A few months ago, I got my first "Sorry, I'm married." She even had the ring on. It's just not something you're conditioned to look for in your early 20's these days.

I'm 24 and I've already learned that lesson. It's actually about the 3rd or 4th thing I check out on a woman.

  5. What a total SET-UP!

Why not bring back Vince Young or Levi Brown?

Because neither of those guys are bad enough to make Nassib look good!

Somebody at OBD needs to put their foot down on this nonsense. As a fan, I shouldn't have to suffer for some ill-advised promise made to an untalented prospect!

I'm so mad right now, I could change my avatar!

Some ill-advised promise made to an untalented prospect?

I've tried for a while, but I have absolutely no idea what the hell you could possibly mean by this. To quote SDS the "terminally cynical" are still alive and well.

  6. Ok so if your Levitre what would you do?

He has played on a losing team for 4 years. Played for 2 HC and has no reason to give the Bills a discount. So if say a teamthat has been in the play offs 3 out of the last 4 years came knocking and was able to offer more money, what would you do?

I still think he stays. The moves the Bills are making signifies they are going to spend money. I would be amazed if Levitre is not back. Buddy and Whaley want a good line and have shown they will pay their guys to stay. Smart business move on Levitre to test the waters some. i am sure his agent has already put together a list of teams in need of interior line help that have money and also have playoff potential/experience lately.

You make some good points. I do not believe that him wanting to stay, and wanting to test the FA market are mutually exclusive things (not saying you said that). I have a hard time believing that he will be let go unless he gets a HUGE offer from a contender. I would not be surprised to see him signed shortly before FA starts, e.g. Stevie.

  7.

    How about this one?

"Andy Levitre made it pretty clear at locker clean out this morning that he intends to shop for the best offer in free agency. Smart move."

I remember when that came out there was a thread on here discussing that. That was the same time as he made the statement I referenced. I found it odd for Levitre to say what he said and then Sully to come out with that.

Found the blog by Chris Brown that contains the quote I referred to.
