  1. I heard on the LeBatard Show this morning that Cam hasn't had a roughing the passer flag thrown for him in the last two seasons. Cannot confirm it's true but I tend to believe that show. Anyways, Cam does have a legitimate complaint. He's not complaining about the rules being the way they are, just about the blatant inconsistency that the refs have displayed. It definitely should be a topic for discussion and I don't believe calling Newton a crybaby is fair in this instance.

  2. Man, they're really dragging this out, aren't they??

He didn't want to steal the spotlight from the Tour Championship and Ryder Cup the following week. Not really dragging anything out at all, just being respectful to the sport he spent his life playing.

  3. What?? Uber is not in WNY? Seriously why not?

And to the OP. I've never once looked a an Uber drivers rating. I just take the one that can get to me first.

The whole state of NY is Uberless. It's a small tragedy around these parts.

2:18 is a throw a lot of NFL QB's could not have made. Keep in mind this limited body of work is against the best college football had to offer. He seems to be even a better fit for our system than most others in the NFL so + on that.

Interesting piece on Sports Science. Certainly nothing to hang your hate on long term, but interesting.

I'm not disagreeing with you. It's a hypothetical that's worth asking considering a lot of roster management is being on the best side of value, not only as a whole but as it relates to each player. I think it's reasonable to assume he did not get a first round great from the committee (if he did go that way). I also think it's reasonable to assume he thought he might be able to achieve that by staying one more year. It went the other way and we ended up on the right side of value.

    That is a perfect typo.

  5. Please don't try to be a member of the grammar police. You may get arrested for "impersonating an officer". Quotes are used in the English language to attribute something written not unique to the writer. Also "Punctuation is used to create sense, clarity and stress in sentences", according to many grammar sites. Since "the power of prayer" is a commonly used phase and not my creation, it was put in quotes. I am not a plagiarizer and attempt to attribute my sources. I don't claim to be a perfect writer, but in this case the quotes were properly used.

Simply putting something in quotes does not credit the source. What you are looking for is called a citation, and I do not think that means what you think that means.

Common phrases of speech do not need to be put into quotes. But if we're going to go down your line of thinking, might as well put quotes around everything because I'm sure nearly every phrase you've ever said has been said before by someone.

  6. I really like last year's draft, so I certainly don't count as a draft day naysayer. But ... I really, really don't like this year's draft.

    - guy with a shoulder injury who isn't considered an elite talent at 19th overall. Yes, it was 19th overall, not in the top 5, but if there's any injury risk at all (beyond the norm), I'd like to see elite talent. Think Myles Jack.

    - guy thought to be a 2-down linebacker in Round 2. OK, but is there much upside there?

    - passed on all QBs who have a realistic chance of being ready to start when Tyrod's contract is up after this season.

    - a RB in the 4th round. Is he clearly better than a guy you could get as an UDFA? History would suggest no.

    - a speedburner receiver in the 5th. Yes, it's the 5th. But haven't Graham and Goodwin taught them anything?

    - most importantly: unaddressed pressing needs, mostly on the O line.

My issue is this was a draft a clear playoff team should have. A couple good solid starters or roleplayers in the first 2 rounds, the kind that don't have true star potential but can add depth and fill a need. An obsession with QB size/athleticism that served them so well the last time around with EJ? ... an obsession with speed at WR that has failed 3 times in a row if you count signing Harvin.

I'd say it's the worst I've felt about a draft in recent memory ...

It sure seems like you made a choice to not like any of these picks. You could literally give a one sentence analysis of every player that reads like the player is a bust waiting to happen. It's Buffalo Bills football here, it's supposed to be a hobby that we enjoy.

Any mathematician have the odds figured out about us getting in the top 4?

I've seen the chart before but can't find it right now. I believe we can't pick at 4 but odds for 1st 2nd and 3rd are: 3%, 3.5% and 4% respectively. Now I could be slightly off but that's close to accurate at worst.

  8. I used to use Tapatalk to browse on my cell phone but I had to quit using it due to there being no distinction between what was quoted from a previous post and the new post. I know that it's not a Tapatalk issue as I browse other forums on there and don't have the same issue with them.

I also second (third, fourth... etc??) needing a way to get to the last page of a thread on a mobile device.

  9. i know they would never be so hokey in this show, but wouldn't it be brilliant if chuck's tape recording is 'foiled' by all the foil in the room and it causes interference while trying to record? :w00t:

You know I had that thought as well. The next thing that crossed my mind is that this is the straw that breaks the camels back finally and leads him to becoming Saul Goodman officially (even though we can tell he's almost there as a character just without the name). I am really interested to see where this recording leads. Chuck aggravates me more than Skylar ever did in BB and that's saying a lot. Chuck is !@#$ed up in the head.

    @Sportsnet

The LA Rams are now taking ticket deposits, and have reported heavy interest http://ow.ly/XfgVU

I know L.A. is a huge market, but why is it that every time I see a picture/video of the fans celebrating the Rams returning it is a max of 8-10 people. This even includes the live video they were shooting in L.A. immediately after the vote. There were like 6 guys out celebrating.
