Yeah challenged that far from the basket, a little off balance and fading away. They should have driven to the hoop and if that wasn't open then kick it out, they only need 2 to win

Time was a little tighter than I thought originally, but they should have worked the ball inside the arc for sure.

  2. How can I watch on my mobile? I don't have the right cable providers to do the cbs app. And phones too old for kodi

The only way i know is by logging like you said. I'm sure there will be plenty of streams going but you'll have to search around. Reddit usually is pretty easy to find streams on.

  3. Can we talk about Brad May for a minute? I have nothing against the guy but every time he tries to analyze or speak about anything it seems as if he is just winging it. It always seems as if he is rambling and doesn't even know the point he is trying to make. He's like the Michael Scott of hockey analysts. Brian Duff is good though and half the time he seems bewildered at what May is saying.

  4. This team embodied everything good about football and what the sport is supposed to be. Less than a decade ago they were 3 leagues down and a new club with no where to go but up. Then 5 days ago, they qualified for the finals of the second biggest club tournament in South America. Literally every football fan in Brazil loved this team and they were even cheered for making the finals by the opposing fans in their stadium, again, just 5 days ago. This is absolutely devastating for the town that is currently dealing with a terrible flood and can't even properly mourn this tragedy as they are trying to save their houses and families right now.

This is them celebrating making it to the finals of the Sul-Americana. https://twitter.com/ChapecoenseReal/status/803587792588722176?lang=pt

    Such a heartbreaking tragedy.

  5. Not sure about Yedlin. I thought he was doing well at Newcastle.

I don't understand why announcers, commentators & analysts are so reluctant to be critical of Bradley. He'll make three very costly turnovers in a row and nobody says anything. That guy, Fernando Fiore (who I like) was the only one who mentioned Bradley playing poorly. He also called out Klinsmann for inexplicably choosing Chandler again. The USA guys remained silent on those points. I don't get it.

Yeah I was wondering that myself. He's been mediocre at best since the last World Cup really. I'm a little more negative on him than most but it was pretty obvious how bad he was yesterday.

  6. .

I agree with both of you. I also want to say that Bradley needs to be called out for his continued sloppy careless play. He's a turnover machine and a huge liability right now. He's a good player when he's on, but he needs to get his head fixed. He's holding this team back.

Wood, Altidore and Pulisic were great. Unfortunate that their chances didn't result in a couple more goals.

One more thing: !@#$ing Chandler? Again? Really? Klinsmann, Jesus Christ, man, this is becoming your Bornstein. Just !@#$ing stop it!

I agree, Bradley is really holding us back. He's been too sloppy with the ball and in his role that is unacceptable.

Also on board with the Chandler issue. Is Yedlin in Jurgen's doghouse or something?

  7. The formation that Jurgen sent out to start the game was baffling and was what directly led to the first goal in the 20th minute. Took him nearly 40 minutes to change to the 4-4-2 when we should have been in that formation from the start of the game.

I'm still not a big fan of Altidore but he did make a good play on the goal. Same goes for Wood really. This American team is lacking a lot of technical ability and doesn't seem to have a ton of composure on the ball in tight spaces. Pulisic is the future of American soccer but he is only 18 right now and is still growing both physically and technically.

Let's hope Jurgen doesn't try to out think the other team and puts the boys out there in the best position to succeed, as we really need to beat Costa Rica now.

  8. soooo. You're the reason football is so boring now and so many flags? If they called helmet to helmet contact on every occurance I'd stop watching. Your definition of it is not reality. Tonight let's count the hits in the first half before I go to bed. You keep your tally. I'll keep mine

Yes. I am THE "reason football is so boring now and so many flags."

If you want to read the rules then we can talk about whether or not Cam has a point. Until then, you'll be screaming into an empty room about how you think football should be played.

  9. so those hits were deliberate helmet to helmet hits where the defender purposely led with his helmet? No.

Were the moving in a position which launched themselves to the players helmet spearing him?

When a player carrying rbe ball lowers his head to a defender who has his head up than only an absolute moron would believe it to be a helmet to helmet hit.

I supposed if you want sarcastball pussified football the helmet can't make contact with another helmet. That seems to be the little girl version of the side y'all say...

Nothing of what you said, again, has any relevance to the situation. Listen, if you want to argue what you think football should be that's great, but that's not what this is about.

If you wanna really get down to it, any contact to the QB's helmet, regardless if it was the defender's helmet making the contact or not, is a RTP if the QB is in the pocket.

Cam was in the pocket and took two hits to the head. Two penalties. It's literally as simple as 1+1=2.

Maybe that equals 11 to you.

  10. was that the Aaron Donald hit? Was that the backside LB hit? Those to hits where Crybaby put his helmet in to the defenders facemask?

They didn't draw a flag. They shouldn't draw a flag. Just because he plays like a fullback doesn't mean he gets to get the other end of the call as a QB. Brady, the kitty he is, stands there and takes every hit head up and gets smoked just to get the flag. Crybaby needs to learn thag

I know I shouldn't take the bait here but I can't help myself. I think you're letting your anti-Cam crusade affect what you are seeing. Those were both clearly helmet to helmet hits and with the rules written as they are, those are both penalties.

Also, "just because he plays like a full back" doesn't even remotely apply in these situations as Cam is in the pocket. Any QB should be viewed the same if they are in the pocket. If Cam's play style is what is keeping the ref's flags in their pockets then that is precisely the problem.

He was in the pocket and he should be protected the same as anybody else. Simple really.

  11. It's been my belief for a while that winning 2 of the Pats/Seahawks/Bengals games puts us in a position to control our own destiny. I feel this Monday Night game in Seattle is very winnable and the Bengals have not been all that great this year and it's to our advantage coming off the bye for that game.

Win those 2 and we are in a good spot.

  12. again, as someone said, why would the NFL or refs single him out? Why is he just now saying something?

Also, how many guys did he lower his shoulder to? How many did he brag to about trucking last year? The guy puts on a show. And as soon as the show is over he can't stand it. P H O N Y

Please explain how any of this has any bearing on whether or not he gets RTP flags thrown his way?

I'll save you some time, it doesn't matter one iota. Not even a little bit.
