How does Crowder grade out? Don't have insider.

"whether we can play or not I know we got bigger."

Right because Talk Radio topics are controlled by the callers...
I mean...I know it happens from time to time...But for the most part the Hosts control, and sometimes (rightfully) monopolize the conversation...That's what Talk Radio is...In a Sports Town like Buffalo, on the 1st Day of Bills Camp, there is no way the conversation should be about ANYTHING other than Football...Especially in an established, old-school Market like WNY...And letting callers control topics is always dangerous...I've listened to Sports Talk for over 20 years now almost every day and I've never called in once...Many of the callers I hear on Sports Talk Radio both here and in Charlotte NC are complete idiots...Sometimes I wonder if they are really just joking...It's up to the Hosts to make good Talk Radio...The Afternoon guys on WGR are brutal at times...I mean REAL bad...It gets a little old...
I guess that's a fair point, but you can only rehash the same BS about the Bills so many times. It's depressing and aggravating to listen to or read (this board). Who wants that on a Friday night? Not sure why I'm defending them other than I actually found the talk entertaining.
I agree regarding callers, many times I turn my radio down or off when they start taking calls.

There's no room for him, even if he comes back it's just to take reps and get cut.

5 years 10 million guaranteed. Hes started all 16 games last season for the first time in his career.........
Right, in 5 prior seasons had started only 9 games.
-
Days like this I miss 'Coach'
-
chump change, yet again........bills continue to cheap out and depend on crap that will, once again, suck
the cycle contiues - as it has for the last 10 years........feel free to chip in homers, i'm done
An LB who has started one full season out of 6 is the tipping point?
-
They actually, on multiple occasions, stated they were looking to take calls on training camp and talked about the Bills through 5 o'clock. Yet people kept calling with talk about the movies. They then stated they would take calls on both, and Schopp, on more than one occasion stated "no calls on football I guess we'll stick with movies." Guess you should have called in.
-
They're probably hurting for camp bodies at ILB as well, as opposed to having a pretty deep roster at OLB. Wouldn't be surprised if he works at both until the sign someone or the season starts.

Crowder not bad in pass coverage, but not a game-changer either. In six years as a starter, he has 2.5 sacks, 1 int and 3 forced fumbles.

id be surprised if edwards doesnt talk to him with their history.
http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/tag/_/name/channing-crowder/count/46"George is like my second father," Crowder said Friday morning along Radio Row in the Super Bowl media center. "The coolest coach in the NFL."Crowder knows Edwards well. They went through a 3-4 transformation together with the Dolphins, where Edwards was linebackers coach the past five seasons.
Edwards left the Dolphins in January to be the defensive coordinator at the University of Florida, Crowder's alma mater. Crowder shook his head at the idea of Edwards leaving the Gators after three weeks.
"I guess he thought the opportunity in Buffalo was better," Crowder said. "I was upset about the Florida thing, but with the love I have for George Edwards and knowing the type of coach he is, I'm happy for him. Buffalo got a great coach."

Add Channing Crowder to the list.

Cash spending, not cap spending, and it's the entire league, not each team. So the Bills could spend under a large percentage because other teams will spend over and amortize bonuses for cap purposes.
The cap spending is only 89%, basically what it's been the past few seasons.

Read yesterday that there is mutual interest between Donte and Denver.
-
Hadn't seen anything about the back surgery, thanks.

How long before they can demand to renegotiate?
I think there is a rule that states drafted players can't renegotiate until after the players 3rd year. Undrafted after 2.
-
Last year's No. 3 pick got $63 million, with $35 million guaranteed, over five years.
Ralph is cheap
-
FORMER 1STrder that never lived up to hype but coming off injury ,don't know how long he played while injured ,broncos have history of playing guys hurt
Harris was a 3rd rounder. Maybe you're thinking of Clady?
meh, yes upgrade over what we have but not buy a lot, in 4 yrs. only played all 16 games once. Rather take a chance on Gaither who if 100% can be a top 10 OT.
Is Gaither willing to play RT? That was an issue with the Ravens last offseason. Harris had dislocated toes as compared to Gaither's neck & back injuries.
-
Missed out on Willie Colon as well as he decided to resign with atl, not sure if anything left better than the undrafted freeagents out there anymore for RT.
Trueblood, Johnson & Harris all remain unsigned.
-
No, they overpay Walker and Dockery. But Clabo takes 5 mil a year? Offer 10 mil. Double it. It still wouldnt have hampered us in FA. If we don't get an ILB I might murder someone
Where are these numbers being reported?
other ILBs...
