Coleman = Benjamin, Davis = Moss - Beane players
mrags replied to harmonkillebrew's topic in The Stadium Wall
Scott Miller was a 4.39 guy. Godwin was a 4.42 guy. and I don’t care what some other team did. I care what this team does. You have a WB with one of the best arms in the history of the NFL. It would be nice to get him someone to throw downfield to for the first time since 2020. Smoke Brown was the last guy he had that filled this role. And before him he had Robert Foster. And that’s it. And I think it’s pretty fair to say he gave those guys their best seasons of their careers. -

That doesn’t mean he’s that great. It just means he had a decent year and he’s up for contract. put Allen in that team and they break every passing record in the league -

Drafting track stars that can actually play football are not tho. Like Hill. Waddle. Achane. im not moving the posts. I’m simply behind getting our superstar QB some weapons. Ones that get separation. Ones that find open spaces. Ones that blow the doors off defenses. Ones that keep defensive coordinators up at night. You know, like how Hill did with Buffalo for years as a chief. The only reason he doesn’t destroy us as a dolphin is because his QB doesn’t have the arm to utilize him. And his HC is possibly as dumb as McDermott. -
Oh. I was making a joke about our slow WR. I guess I’ll STFU now

Who’s their QB? -
Oh don’t worry. I was sure of that as soon as this lame head coach wanted him. So he can continue to run the football

Well. If we were faster in the field maybe we would have had a lead big enough that even this terrible coach couldn’t F it up. in case you haven’t noticed, the league is getting faster. Our division rivals are getting faster. Hell, even the Pats who are run by a defensive coach picked offensive players until rd6. McDermott wants a run the ball and play good defense type of team. And that’s fine. If we had a JAG at QB. But we don’t. We have one of the most talented QBs to ever play the game. Get him some sports cars to throw to -
Well. He’s a 260lb defensive end. Prolly not

Oh no. I do. They lose in the playoffs against good team every single year -

It’s a team in McDermotrs image. It’s a losing recipe imo -
I haven’t said that I hate you yet
-
Why are you bringing up worthy? The chiefs live rent free in your head don’t they
-
Gotta make sure we get all those guys that would be undrafted special teamers

Not just worse. Might be one of the worst in the league. -
This kid is faster than Coleman

Kind of where I am. Year after year they say they need to get faster and more explosive and we’re right here every year wondering wtf they are doing. I think Coleman is slower than Gabe was. explosive is not in Beane or McDermotts vocabulary other than pretending they want it in their end of season interviews -
Rd 5, Pick 160: LB Edefuan Ulofoshio, Washington

At least SVP is good and I expect to be the future starter for this team at a position -
Yeah it’s the 1st and 2nd rounders they have problems finding. let’s not even get into the 17 RBs they’ve taken in the 3rd round only to let them go after 2 years.
-
Imo this is where McDermott has fully taken over in terms of picks. Beane is slapped on the back of the neck by McDermott and TPegs. He looks behind him and they are both standing there and are like…. Get up, we’re drafting as many special teamers we can find now. And if we don’t have enough picks for all of the guys we want, we’ll trade back for more picks for guys that we’re going to be undrafted anyway.
-
Nothing I accept at this point.
-
Well we just got a next years 4th. That’s actually good value. Get another 4th. Package those with your 2nd from Diggs. Along with your own 2nd. Your 1st. Get into the top 5 and get an actual good WR next year. hell, at the rate we’re going this year we’ll be somewhere around 15 next draft so it won’t be that much of a move.
-
I’ve got news for you Beane. If there aren’t any guys worth drafting now in rd 5, there isn’t going to be anymore that are worth it in the 6th. Get picks next year or just take someone at this point.
