Another EJ hater who has lost his mind over preseason ? Welcome aboard, the rest of your crew is already here.
Preseason? I gave up on EJ last year. He has physical ability but he's got the fortitude of Edwards and Losmanlike ability to read defenses. EJ the man is a nice guy. EJ the QB? Let's just say I'm soooo thankful for Orton.
-
uh no he is not good. He has a noodle arm and buckles under any kind of rush. Hope he never needs to get his uni dirty.
Orton is good enough to get this team in the playoff hunt. EJ is not. EJ is a bust.
-
God that !@#$ing EJ sucks......and everyone who doesn't think so is a god damn moron
EJ does suck. You are right, Sir.
-
Guys, Orton isn't the backup. I mean, that's how it'll start but it won't stay that way. And he's really quite good. He's got the balls of Fitz but better accuracy. The guy can play.
-
Ah. Very nice. i guess posting intelligent, and reasoned posts is too much to expect from some people. And there is simply no reason for you to discuss your disagreements with others (at least those who posted intelligent and reasoned positions) in an adult fashion. Better to disrupt the board using a second user name. I get it. Well at least you are a self-admitted douchebag. Some people don't just come right out and make it so clear.
Enjoy the ride.
Wow, that's something.
I did it in jest. Glad to know you and I will get along though!
-
I'm going to go WAY out on a limb here and suggest it wasn't that you criticized EJ but the manner in which you did it. Prove me wrong.
I called nobody in particular "EJ apologists" and got banned. So I made another account and made it painfully obvious and got a permanent ban. Oh well. Such is life
-
People actually post over there still?
Yeah. The Mods there are crazy though and anybody who says anything bad about EJ is considered a heretic.
-
Dude, the last time he saw significant playing time he was 3-10 as a starter benched for Tim freaking Tebow.
Dude, I'm not a stats guy...and wins are very important for a QB...but look at his stats that year. He wasn't the problem. What happened that year with Tebow was weird. He will be our starter by October.
-
Orton literally just saved our season.
-
Do you want your rug back?
It really held the room together, man
-
No matter how bad Manuel has looked there is no controversy. Orton is old and not very good. Manuel is young and that bad.
Dude, he's like 31 and he's pretty dang good. He's efficient. He will be our starter at some point this year. I guarantee it.
-
He WILL be our starter soon. This is the beginning of the end for EJ.
-
So, don't know if any of y'all know me from the BBMB but I guess I'll be hanging out here now. I finally got banned and literally for no reason... Anybody else here get banned from there for no reason? Anyways, go Bills!

Huh ... having lived in Nashville ... no way does the wind come close to conditions in the Ralph .. not to mention snow and precipitation.
I have no issue brining in another kicker but I do not agree with this part of your rationale.
No, its not as strong as it is at the Ralph. But it is a factor.
-
Although replacing Lindell isnt a top need I do feel we could easly upgrade by signing Bironas. I love Bironas and TN stadium is right off the Cumberland river and gets very windy just like the Ralph. I feel Bironas is a top notch kicker and would be much better for us than Lindell. Im usually always for continuity when possible but with Kickers theres an exception. Continuity isnt all that important with a Kicker so I say why not... Bring Bironas in.

1) keep ir real. Schobel essentially played in 4 full games and a small part of the 5th. So, lay off his ass.
2) No schitt... like no one realizes that the Bills couldn't get to the QB this year.
Everyone thinks by going out and drafting a DE this year, that's gonna make a difference. It aint...
Get real. No NFL team generates 50 sacks a season utilizing their front four. They bring the kitchen sink. LBs and DBs.
3 of the top 4 sackers in the league were OLBs . Everyone seems to want to point at the Bills DEs and totally ignoring the Bills below average linebacking. Denney and Mitchell led the Bills with 4 sacks each. Denney started only 11 games and Mitchell's sacks came up the middle. Stroud and his $4M salary managed a pathetic 2 sacks. Poz and Ellison got zero, ... but everyone wants to put all the blame on Kelsay... and he had the same number of sacks as Stroud.... and nobody's calling out Stroud, Poz, or Ellison.
Stroud is barely above average... that's it. Bills need somene along side him that's better than him. Plus, Poz would better be served as a backup... stacked up to the elite MLB's around the league he doesn't measure up very well. Bring in Dansby. Ellison is a journeyman backup. Bills should let his ass go, resign Crowell, and draft Cushing. The secondary needs an enforcer at Safety.... unfortumately there's nothing out there... unless Donavin Darius has anything left.
Alas... no matter who the team brings in... and they could bring in 7 superstars and it would not matter, the HC is Jauron. Jauron = zero. You need creativity to generate a pass rush. Anyone believe that Jauron has any of that?
Yeah, I know Schobel played in 4 full and 5 total. So? He got ONE freaking sack in 18 QTRs. Schobel is not what or who he used to be. I like him and I think that Schobel is underrated against the run and overrated against the pass. But, Schobel is not and has not been earing his paycheck. Also, I think Curry with our 1st would be the best way to go to improve our pass rush through a rookie.
-
Apparently you haven't heard about Kelsay making the Pro Bowl in 09?
And...I don't want another DE from the state of Utah for at least another 10 years.
Did Alabama have a VERY good O line this year? And what did Utah do to that line and poor John Parker Wilson?
-
ONE. The number assigned to the only moron who posted this today. We all know most of this already.
Did you know that???? All of that?
I posted this thread at the buffalo Bills MB and people freaked. They didnt know it was that bad over there. Figured Id post it here too.

ELEVEN AND A HALF. Eleven and a half is the ammount of sacks that our D Line of Schobel, Stroud, Kelsay, Denney and Williams gathered this year.
TEN. Ten is the number of players in the NFL that had the same or more sacks single handidly than the WHOLE entire Bills D Line including Schobel. TEN.
FOUR. Four is the number of sacks that the entire Buffalo Bills defense beat Demarcus Ware in this year on sacks. A whole team got FOUR more sacks than one guy.
THREE. Three is the number of teams that DOUBLED our sack total.
THREE. Three is the number of teams that we beat in sacks this year... JUST THREE.
-
Connor Barwin from Cincinatti. 6-4, 255lbs. I like him in the ONLY game I saw this year that he played in. I think he can play DE in the NFL but would work better in a 3-4 as an OLB... But we could use him.
Paul Kruger from Utah. 6-5, 265lbs. I had no clue who this guy was until I saw him light it up in his final game.
Robert Ayers from Tennessee. 6-3, 270lbs. I like him A LOT. This guy would be higher if he had more talent around him... Livining in ky/tn I watched a lot of him.. This guy is quick, strong, can play the pass, can play the run and hill give your grandma the finger if she accidently cuts him off in traffic. This guy is mean on the field. I like him.
-
Trust me boys, Owen Daniels is the way to go!
-
There is no DE in this years draft worthy of the #11 pick, I PROMISE. I would never draft a TE that early either plus I dont believe that Coffman or Petigrew are the type of passing TEs that we need... So that leaves most of us with a WTH do we draft question. There are a few players I like and before I get into them Id like to say SCREW CROWELL! Screw that guy for how he played his cards this season.... For the #11 I like
BJ Raji
Aaron Curry or
Rey Maualuga
I think that we can still get a good DE in the 2nd round like Paul Kruger out of Utah and Robert Ayers from Tennessee.
-
You know Hardy played pretty good for a rookie, he made a few great blocks last year on running plays and seems to get decent separation on his pass routes, for some reason, Trent did not see him a few times. He reminds me of Eric Moulds in his rookie season. Too bad he got hurt. He was just starting to look better, and he was out of the lineup.
Ahh yeah kinda. I remember wanting to grab Hardys facemask and yell at him a few times for droping pass's... I think that if Trent did see him he didnt throw to him b/c A) he didnt trust Hardy and B) Hardy wasn't the "dump-off" guy... But, all these people who scream "cut Hardy b/c Steve Johnson is better are crazy. I hope Hardy recovers quickly so we can see what he's got.
-
Who are you willing to pay a #11 pick for that we need? Im going to say that the DEs in this years draft may not be worth the money they would cost at #11... Who do you think is worth it that we need?
landon cohen cut?

Dallas could use him...he'll get picked up somewhere. Anyways, I don't understand this move. I thought he did pretty good. Maybe they released him after finding out they were awarded a claim on somebody else? We'll see.
