  1. I am surprised to hear no one mention TE.  Remember those games Dawson Knox was injured?  Tommy Sweeney was invisible and Gilliam isn't an option.  Having another good TE gives us more flexbility to benefit our run game and allows us to do more 2 TE formations.

I think we need an upgrade at RB.  Singletary is good but how would this offense look with a very good RB?

The only position I would want to upgrade on the OL would be center and that's a maybe for me.  It depends on how we are going to establish the run.  If we are going to continue to get the OL guys on the move then I think we can make it work with Morse.

    My picks

Go after C Ben Jones from the Titans in free agency

1st round CB Kaiir Elam Florida (great compliment to Tre....has size, toughness)

2nd round TE Jaylen Wedeymeyer Texas A&M (could end up being better than Knox is big and can move)

3rd round Kyren Williams RB Notre Dame (looks as good if not better than singletary with a little more power and speed)

4th round or later, I'd like to see them get someone to play the 1 technique

Not broke, but getting close to pulling out the credit card. Still think they need to bring back Mckensie,  Wallace (4-6m) and make a decision with Barkley (say 2m). Also Boroquez (say 3m). Then 3-5m for the draft. Have to keep something in the back pocket in case something happens in season. So, couple of our own, then draft the rest. Just my thoughts, But that's why I am here and not a GM..

I agree with you.  The only thing I would add is bringing back Feliciano.  Maybe we can get him back at about 4mil/per?

I can't remember which game it was, but we came out in a 4-3 that didn't last long, maybe one series. Assuming the coaches didn't like what they saw.

I said it the pregame thread, I know it won't happen but would love to see a version of the 5-2. Let the DE's take the outside shoulder and jam the te's, especially andrews. Edmunds, Milano and poyer handle the te's and watch for Lamar running. Might get Oliver into some one on one matchups and just gum up the running lanes.

I think a 5-2 would be a really bad idea for many reasons.  We would get torched if they went into a three or four receiver set.  It also puts more bigger slower guys on the field.  I actually say we should consider a base big nickel defense.  Maybe put saffron neal in there on 1st down instead of johnson.  Or we should consider going base 4-3.  I am not sure how we deal with a 300 plus pound full back

  4. I think it's really close but I would go with Tyrod.  If for no other reason because Tyrod would not hand the ball over to the defense.  Say what you want but you cannot win with a QB who turns the ball over as much as Fitz.  You know what you were getting with Tyrod.  Fitz was too unpredictable which is why he was cut shortly after signing the big extension.

I also think Sweeney could emerge as a good one as well. He may surprise people this year

I don't see it with Sweeney.  Nothing stands out about him.  The ceiling on him is as a 3rd TE/blocking specialist to replace Lee Smith.  Very interested in seeing how Knox develops.  Croom is interesting to me.

I find it crazy that people can have McGahee, Spiller and Whitner on the same list as Maybin, Williams or Losman

Agreed but I wouldn't put Losman with Maybin and Williams.  Losman was a bust but at least he showed some flashes with a few 300 yard games and multiple touchdowns etc. Maybin and Williams did absolutely nothing.

Josh Allen has a chance to prove himself

big time this season, no need to be all hurt over a low ranking.

I agree with you.  This is the year we find out what Josh Allen is all about.  He has the weapons, he has a true #1 receiver, he has a run game, he has a strong defense, a solid offensive line, he's had minimal changes to personnel, same offensive coaches and it's year 3 for him.  This is it, Josh.

    not really debatable imo

Dawkins plays a way more important position and he's better at it than Milano is at LB

I don't know about Dawkins being better at his position then Milano is at his.  I think they both are even at their position.  One question we might want to ask is, could we keep Milano and upgrade the LT position?

Nah... they need another young WR. Can't count on Foster for anything at this point.

After giving up so much for Diggs, why would you come back and draft another WR high in the draft??  Doesn't make sense to me.  The Bills run more than most teams in the league and with Diggs added, they will still run more than most teams in the league.  Why wouldn't you get someone to compliment Singletary?  I like the other posters idea of a TE if a playmaker is available but I would not touch a WR at the top end of the draft unless you get someone with a mid 1st round grade slip to you.

    Bills really re-vamped that D-line.

    Gotta love it!!

Adding another talented WR, RB, or OL with their second round pick has to be the plan, right??

With Diggs, Brown, Beasley, Foster and Williams as your top 5, there is no reason to draft a WR high.  The OL is set as well...at least for this year.  They have quality starters at every position.  Of the three positions you posted, RB has to be the biggest need.  They don't have a viable option to play alongside or backup Singletary...they should target a Jonathan Taylor in 2nd round or AJ Dillon 3rd round.

  11. I guess I am insane then beacuse I wouldn't over pay him.  He's not the best tackler or athelte in the world.  He's a good fit for this defense and I would want to keep but given the other people that are coming up and people we could bring in, I wouldn't over do it.  Plus I wouldn't want to have the most expensive safety tandem in the league.
