  1. My top three:

1: Tyrod - protected the ball, made plays and was a dual threat.

    2. Fitz - He threw too many picks, but his anticipation and football smarts were really good.

    3. Flutie - That little guy was fun to watch.  He was a play maker and shouldn't have gotten benched for the titan's playoff game.

Drew Bledsoe by far... the best QB after Kelly and JA we had.

Bledsoe was the best for half a season.

because you can't compare the legendary Peterman to anyone else... maybe Jeff Tuel or Brian Brohm.

the disappointment had by many that neither of the latter were given a fair chance was hilarious, too.

Kyle Orton also gets no love

Speaking of legends, Billy Joe Hobert!  The man who was proud about not studying the playbook before going on to throw multiple picks.

The last 6 games of the season he caught 12 passes. 3 of those games he had 0 catches. After Brady took over play calling he had 4 games without a catch

This post changed got me to see it differently.  I forgot about that drought once Brady took over play calling.

I don't think there is any chance they bring him back.

  3. What would be so bad about bringing him back on a 1 year vet minimum and let him battle for a spot in training camp?  If he's as bad as most of you say he is, he wouldn't make the team.

Actually, I would be ecstatic. I don’t care what order they are picked. If we come out of this draft with another Benford (or better, minus the injuries), I’d consider this a very successful draft.

I hear ya.  I guess I meant, I hope we don't have our 6th rounder out perform our 1st rounder.

  5. Cater and it's not close.  We have struck out time and time again on DEs.  To be able to get a DE with Micah Parsons like potential could finally give us what we've never had during the McD error, a young, elite DE.  We've had elite play at WR (Diggs) and CB (Tre White) in the McDermot era but not at DE (not counting Miller's 1/2 season before the injury).

Also, I don't think Hunter will play both positions full-time at the NFL level.  Especially given his smallish frame.

The upside is a quality cheap backup who knows your system and is loved by the locker room. A guy who can mentor a young guy or two. His deal is likely between 3-4 million not including escalators

I hope your right about the money.  What I'm unsure about is who is better at this stage of their career.  Tre or Douglas?

Tony Greene started as a corner but was moved to safety in maybe his 2nd or 3rd year.

Phenomenol athlete in the Darrell Green mold.

You think Clements' best years were after the Bills?

    Love the Freudian slip.

Gotta love grammar guy on a football message board.  Maybe he should review his own posts before correcting others.....ie what kind of athlete was Darrell Green?

  8. I'd bring them both back.  Cooper on a deal similar to what Hollins got from the Pats.  Douglass, the max I would offer would be 2 yrs 10 mil but I think 2 yrs 6 mil would be fairer for both sides.

Ty Johnson was an amazing find by Beane. We really lucked out. Too bad Beane cant make these type of finds in the first 3 Rounds of the draft.

I think Singletary deserves more credit than that.  Moss went on to have some success once he left as well.  I think Ty is best 3rd down back in the league…but Singletary was solid as a 3rd rounder.

Why? And what timeframe do you suggest? There are many, many reasons victims do not come forward and when they do, there are various reasons why they (in some cases) wait many years to do so.

Alleged victims. As of now, nothing has been proven.
