No, what position does he play? Shortstop??
'Q' is good, that's for sure. But he's not Moss (now or then). He's not TO from two years ago. He's not Fitz. I'd love him on my team, but I'm just sick of a guy who year in and year out asks for a trade (Anquan Boldin Asks Arizona Cardinals for Trade.....Again). He's a great WR, but asking for a trade in three of your six seasons makes you a headache I don't want to deal with, and Rosenhaus is icing on that cake.
But thanks for suggesting I 'do my homework.' D-bag.
He's not TO from two years ago? What the hell does that mean? He is not Jerry Rice from 9 years ago either??? Who cares? What is he NOW?. Top 5 receiver.
YOu don't want to deal with it...boo hoo. Arent you the same person who said they like Lynch "despite" his issues and that he is really a good person?? You telling me Lynch isn't a headache?
again, do your homework hacknode
-
Yeah, but some are more than others. Boldin is a poor man's TO in that category. He's been whining and bitching about being traded for three years! I don't want to put up with it and I hate hate hate Drew Rosenhaus. Plus, he's only looked as good as he does thanks to having Fitzgerald on the other side.
Have you ever seen Boldin play? Doubt it. Taking nothing away from Fitz, Boldin is in the top 5 for wrs in the NFL. He posted great stats before Fitz even came to NFL. He is nothing like TO, NOTHING. Do your homework next time. His teamates LOVE him. Warner was willing to take less money if they gave it to Boldin. He is a warrior. Just because you hate Rosenhaus, don't hate the player. He has not whined for 3 years. I live in Phoenix, I would know.

I would be absolutely ecstatic if we were able to obtain Holt! IMO, he would be a huge upgrade to our offense. I would much, much rather prefer Holt than Coles. The question is, are we willing to do what it takes to get him?
GIT R DONE RALPHIE BOY!!!!
1. He is not the player he was a few years ago, not even close.
2. He will cost more that what we will want to pay him.
3.What makes you think he woudl want to come here?
Will Never happen.
-
I'm not sure what teh actual cap numbers are, but if we signed Brown and Coles to the contracts they received, how much would we have left under the cap?
Who gives a Sh*t??? Hello, we didn't sign them!! Whats next, how much would Tom Brady cost us if he were on our team?
-
please not maybin or brown, ie. another DE round 1 bust. erik flowers and john mccargo were bad enough.
McCargo is a DT, not DE. and let Flowers go...how long ago was that now??/

9. Green Bay Packers select Malcolm Jenkins CB Ohio State
Sorry Bills fans, but Jenkins will be off the board before 11. Green Bay needs some youthful talent in the secondary even though Brian Cushing is a very tempting target for the Pack.
You need to rethink GB. They are now despearte for Dline help.
-
Jerry Sullivan has no class and knows very little about football. We deserve better.
You are now talking about 90% of the people on here.
He tells the truth, which most people do not want to hear.
He is not always right, but who is? He is at least honest and not a suck up, which
most of the reporters in Buffalo are. Most people associated with the Bills/Sabres do not
like him as he calls them out and god forbid that.
-
He has all the talent in the world, but can't stay healthy. That isn't even the problem in drafting him. He is a problem child, much like Lynch. I followed his career from High School here in Virginia Beach (where he was suspended during high school for pushing a referee and almost cost his team a chance to play in the playoffs), and his injury riddled career at Florida state, however short it has been. It looks good on paper, but be careful what you wish for.
I agree, great talent but injury prone throughout collegiate career. Most of his big plays in college were out of the running back position and not receiver. He is listed as 5 11 192, (both are a stretch if you have seen him on tv/film) Parrish is 5 9 172. They are comparable and for most people here that 0feel Parrish is too small, he is the equivlent to Harvin

I'll be sure to do that, starting with yours. In fact, I'll be keeping a very close eye on you, if you get my drift. And on further review, since a good chunk of your first 80 or so posts were written merely to criticize other posters, perhaps that decision is overdue.
By the way, you forgot the apostrophe in "everyone's."
Have a nice day.
OMG, how will I sleep at night???
-
I already have one, thanks. And if you hadn't noticed, a small part of it includes moderating these message boards. As such, I'll weigh in wherever I damn well please on our board policies.
Thanks, and have a nice day.
Please review the rules on profanity then as I have seen you use in on numerous occasions~!
Now run along and check everyones spelling too!

The source is listed, but I absolutely agree with including a link -- in fact, for anything longer than that excerpt, I insist on one. It still doesn't fit the definition of plagiarism, though. Short excerpts like this one meet the definition of "fair use."
And believe me, after another local paper lifted chunks of a story I wrote back in January without bothering to attribute, I'm all about tarring and feathering plagiarists.
get a life

Crabtree is having surgery on his left foot. He'll be sidelined for 10 weeks. He's injury prone.
One injury and you are calling him injury prone??? Get real!
-
I agree....it won't be DE. May be a rush lb (orakpo, though he is really a de, cushing, Maybin) but with the 4 you mentioned, would be a waste. If they cut kelsay, may be possibiliity, but not if they keep him. Too many, too much $ tied up in them. The Bills have Ellis, Schobel, Denney and Kelsey at DE right now. At DT they have Stroud and...I'd rather see them go into the season with just the DE's they have now instead of just the DT's they have now. I just don't get the logic behind a DE being a bigger need than DT.
JMO
Id love to see Raji. LOVE IT, but I think GB may take him ahead of us. I head good things about Jerry, but
I don't know that much about him. Its either the above two, a rush lb or trade down for Pettigrew.

Vonnie Holiday was only there till 02 then spent 03-05 with the chiefs, then the past few seasons with the dolphins, Bob Sanders came to Green Bay with Mike McCarthy in 06, Vonnie Holiday never played for him
Nice Catch!
-
Man I would LOVE to get him, draft a DE let him develop under him for a year or two
Do you know who Jason Taylor is?
-
If so, it would be a completely new development. The only teams that have been connected to Coles so far are the Jets, Dolphins, Bills, Bengals and Browns.
Yeah, but wouldnt you think that if Cinci signed him, then Minny and Seattle might just turn their attention to him?
Im sure he is waiting to see how the Housh thing works out and then waits for more calls.

My whole point in posting the info to begin with was to state some data about the guy that I hadn't seen posted. If you don't want to know things about Bills players, why are you here to begin with? Maybe YOU have too much time on your hands if you have nothing better to do than criticize information about a new player because you don't want to hear that information. OK-Marshawn Lynch has never done anything wrong either-happy now?
This just in......In 4th grade he was caught pulling Susie Lightenbrights hair and was sent to the principal! Then, and sit down when you read this.......In 7th grade, he was given detention for skpping class and the rumor around the school was that he had taken a drag of a cigarette in the boys bathroom. Yes its all true! I am still looking into if he took a lie detector test on the cigarette....I will let you know what i find out!

I'll give it a go.....
Simply......C2C means that a team will only fork over in physical dollars an amount up to the cap level for any given year.
If a team signs a big contract which garners a $28mil signing bonus.....and the contract was over 7 years......their amortized cap figure for the SB would be $4mil/year. They have however spent $28mil in cash.......thus being deducted off of the C2C figure for the year.
As far as I'm aware, a majority of teams use a C2C system.
There can be some very big advantages in the C2C system.
Firstly.....you are highly unlikely to get into 'cap hell' using the C2C. If big name players under-perform or are injured and need to be cut there will not be that massive 'cap hit' that often comes in that situation.
Also....it can free much more money under the cap in future years.....which can be used to pay more talent.
Using the example above: If the team were to pay 2 roster bonuses(not amortized) of $14mil over the first 2 years....then for years 3-7 of the contract the team would have an additional $4mil under the cap compared to if they had simply used a $28mil SB. This obviously can be used to upgrade the roster further.
Another thing that can be done(and I'm amazed is not done more often).....which the Vikings did with Winfield a few years back.....is to use up your excess cap(and C2C) dollars on the first year of a players contract. For instance.....if a player is going to garner a $5mil a year deal over 6 years......and you pay $15mil to the player in the first year.....his salary would average only $3mil/year for the next 5.....thus freeing up even more money.
Teams that don't use C2C basically use tomorrows money today.
Teams that use C2C can use todays money to pay for tomorrow.
Nice job explaining! Well done Dibs!

If he could really be had for a late pick, I would do it in a second
Do you know who they are? I mean you didnt know who Brian Wates was and he is 8 time pro bowl guard.
-
Evans, Coles, Reed, Parrish, Hardy, Johnson, and Jenkins
I think we should trade Parrish for a TE like Daniels and give them a draft pick to. What do you all think
What would make you think they want to trade him????
-
[We're older right across the D Line and they have the better players for comparable or less money. The Patriots drafted all 3 in the 1st rd and we drafted 50% of ours and those two (Kelsay and Schobel) were both selected in the 2nd rd. It's imperative that we make our D Line the priority in the 1st rd this year, not just for the present but more importantly for the future. The economics of it only makes it more sensible from a GM's point of view. Ability wise it's becoming more and more of a glaring need for us.
Im not really sure of your point, other than stating what we all already knew???
-
Look, Dockery WAS overpaid, and he DID underperform a little, but regardless he was probably
overall our best lineman last year.
Lets break it down:
Jason Peters - penalty machine. bad attitude.
Langston Walker - slow as HELL.
Butler - Ok, he wasnt bad.
Preston - sh--
Fowler - even worse than preston
I know I forgot a few, but everyone is saying how great it is that Dockery is gone,
but he was still arguably our best o lineman. Is anyone else upset that our line is worse?
ps. I know that it opened up some cap room, but is a rookie really gonna be able to be a successful starter on day 1 of next season?
You better think again here Junrior.....Dockery gave up 8.5 sacks, which was the most in the NFL for a guard.
please, do you actually watch the games?

Things can't be looking good for JP Losman & his agent. There are too many available QBs with better resumes, some who will gladly accept a backup roll, for JP to be on top of any team's lists. Let's take a look.
Potential Starters:
Warner
Garcia
Leftwich
Veteran backups with much more accomplished than JP:
Frerrotte
Huard
Batch
Grossman (won a conference championship-playoff & SB experience)
Guys on a par with JP, who have no delusions of being a starter:
Boller
Frye
Harrington (the original JP)
O'Sullivan
Orlovsky
Ramsey
Simms
Wright
All these guys have started at some point in their careers. Most have a better W-L record in games they have started.
I can't see anyone choosing JP until most, if not all of these guys are gone. Where can he go, besides Canada?
The reason you don't hear about him visiting anyone, because....believe it or not, he is on vacation in Vietnam.......nice timing, huh?
One guy who hasn't been mentioned at #11

I would be thrilled with that. I heard somewhere that the Bills really like Ayers. I don't know much about Jerry other than what I read and he is rated a step below Raji, who I would love. I think your draft has alot of merit, especially with the parade of LBs going to OBD lately, tells me they will not draft a highbread lb/de type.
