Completely disagree with the premise of that opinion.  Some outsiders ascribed similar thoughts to the Bills not very long ago. Sad that some folks don't know/understand /appreciate the history of the Browns fanbase which endured a 4 year hiatus from the NFL and still supported the team when it was reinstated. The fact that their team has been poorly run has nothing to do with the fanbase imo.

..Since they came back , you are right, Ownership has been a total S Show.

Is there a more bland team in the NFL besides the Browns? Ugly uniforms, ugly name, not likable at all for any reason, and a history of terrible football that goes back decades and decades. Remove them from the NFL entirely and nobody would even notice besides a handful of Browns fans who would eagerly latch on to another team and pretend like the Browns never existed.

Agree with the premise of your opinion.. but I am old enough to remember watching Jim Brown on TV.. at that time the Browns were a very good and respected Team.. Won a few NFL Championships in the 50's .. far from being irrelevant .

The only thing I truly want is my mother and father who have been watching since inception... And truly love the bills

I just want them to see a championship before they go

I want it for my mom and dad more than myself and I do want it

My parents met at a random super bowl a long time ago and I think that's fate

Very well put as I am most likely your parents age or older  .. Saw my first game in 1960.. 8 yrs old.. and want ONE BEFORE i die too..

I was a ten year old kid, and Kochman was my favorite.  He came and went like a shooting star.  My Dad explained to me that he wouldn't be playing anymore.  I was crestfallen, as kids get in that type of situation.
I am so glad that you remember him.  I would have bet that no one here would recognize the name.

I was about 10 also..and yes it was really upsetting.. he was out of Penn State and was glad they signed him.. those years of competition for signing draft picks were interesting to say the least..

There’s still quite a few seats available in the lower bowl of the new stadium, and the family is debating getting more tickets.  For us, we like to sit as close to the field as we can, but where we can still make out the action anywhere on the field.

Typically, we’ve found that anywhere closer than row 15-20, can be so close that there’s gaps in what we can see.  It is nice to be closer to the players on the sideline, but I don’t see that as a benefit I care about all game.

Also, I’m curious to know people’s thoughts on aisle seats vs being in the middle of a row.

Again, no wrong answers, just curious about others perspectives.

Aisle seats always.. had season tickets for both the Bills and Sabres (in the Aud).. aisle .. just for obvious convenience .

Byrd still holds the team record for INT's (40) while playing in  in 14 game seasons.

He should be up on the Wall

    Hi:

This was not the first game in Rich Stadium.  It was the first regular season game.

The first game was vs Washington.  On the opening kickoff, Herb Mulkey ran back the kickoff d=for a touchdown.

    I was there.

    Yes, I am old.

I agree , am old too! was there as Herb Mulkey ran it back toward us in the tunnel end zone!

It matters because otherwise there could be multiple threads on the same topic which would clog up this board. That's why on game day, there is only one designated thread to discuss the game as it is playing, so the site doesn't become overwhelmed and slowdown or worse.

It's also a matter of courtesy not to post something someone else has already posted. Just like ethical journalists always credit their source(s) and/or the original poster. Otherwise the original source is peeved.

    Priorities, ok
