Hester belongs nowhere near the HOF unless he buys a ticket.

I also couldn't believe McMichael made it. I'm in the Chicago area & saw his whole career. I loved the guy as a player, but I never would've said he's a HOFer. I'd argue that Kyle Williams was a better DT, & he won't get a sniff from the voters.

This is like when Harold Baines made the baseball HOF, it opens the door for a bunch of "pretty good" HOFers in the coming years.

All of this hate for Hester is so bizarre... unwarranted IMHO

    This offseason, man... lol

I came around to the idea that O'Brien's famously an a-hole and maybe the Bucks need some of that edge to go along with Day's message about love. But Chip Kelly at OC seems like a big upgrade, especially given his history with Day. I would expect that the two of them see eye-to-eye on how the offense should be run.

It had better work, because the University, NIL backers and the players that transferred to TOSU have pushed their chips all-in and so he had better deliver!!!

Yeah, I was VERY unhappy with the BOB choice but when I heard that he was leaving and Kelly was going to be OC, I was thrilled!

I am willing to bet -5000 odds that Diggs in on the roster come the season opening. I give it better than even money that he gets his contract reworked to shift guaranteed money further down his contract.

You want to talk 25, 26? Maybe. I'd expect those comments are more for then.

Something is up... so the negotiations will either end in a restructure or a trade. I don't see how this can be misinterpreted considering how the season ended for Stef.

  5. Woody Johnson once again proving why the Jets will crash and burn... two comments that are very telling:

    • On GM Douglas and HC Saleh: "The discussions I've had in the last couple of months, they've seen me about as mad as I can be with what was going on, with the offense particularly," Johnson said, according to reports. "We have all this talent, and we have to deploy talent properly. So I think they all got the message. This is it. This is the time to go. We've got to produce this year."
    • On Aaron Rodgers: The Jets have been criticized for giving Rodgers too much power within the organization, but Johnson said he values the input.

"He has strong opinions on the way the team is built, and we are digesting exactly how to interpret that," he said. "You need an interpreter a little bit there, but I couldn't be more impressed."

In essence he is allowing Rodgers to subvert the GM and the HC because he is impressed by him. Just WOW.

  6. J.P. Losman recreating the Pisarcik fumble... that was TRULY a top 3 "we are a terrible team" embarrassing moment.

"Last Sunday, the Meadowlands was the site of another ill-fated fumble, only this one benefited the home team, the Jets. Trying to protect a 27-24 lead in the final two minutes, Buffalo chose to pass rather than run, a move that backfired when quarterback J. P. Losman was stripped of the ball by safety Abram Elam. The ball squirted free, and defensive end Shaun Ellis scooped it up and returned it 11 yards for a touchdown, keeping the Jets in first place, an eyelash above their American Football Conference East rivals Miami and New England."

I was at the game where the Cheatriots destroyed us 38-7 when Trent Edwards came in. It was horrible and to be there personally was embarrassing!

Rarely during the run of classic Doctor Who did characters ask the line "Doctor Who?"  With the revival in 2005, it seems some minor character is asking it on at least an annual basis.

"What do you mean that's the Doctor?!  Doctor Who?"

I finally got to see the scene where the Doctor is "John Smith" when Jamie reads "John Smith & Associates" on a piece of equipment and names him Doctor John Smith! It was from Wheel in Space (Season 5)!

And he had gone to 12 SBs and won 8 of them. 2 as a D.C. and 6 as a head coach..

    Pretty joyless football.

"only works if the team is actively contending for Superbowls"

You conveniently left off that part... it's an abject failure also without Tom Brady.

It's incredible that some people don't read the entire statement and cherry pick.

    It's actually a great city/region, great fans.

Nope... not here. In this area many are Steelers fans and Browns fans simply don't represent on gamedays, even when they are winning! It's pathetic to be sure and ironically I was talking to a rare gameday representing Browns fan and told them I wanted us to lose to the Broncos so Dorsey would be fired and now he's THEIR OC... sorry, but I don't feel pity for them. Show up on gamedays and have some pride, for Gods sake!!!

If only if he had taken welfare money to build a new stadium!!

Anyway, it's the height of hypocrisy for the State of Mississippi (the poorest state and one of the 3 least educated) to be going after "welfare money" when the same government spends 14 million a year for just 3 of their public college football coaches.

That's the way they roll down there, and why I'm not having ANYTHING to do with that part of the South, period.
