  1. They might lose money on concessions but the tickets are already paid for, and the dirty ole dollar is what Ralph is most concerned with.

Your missing the point. It has NOTHING to do with tickets being bought/sold or not. the game is already unfortunatly a sellout. however, what WILL get ol' Ralphies (or probably russ brandons) attention is if people who have tickets REFUSE to watch the game. that will send a strong message that as fans we are no longer going to tolerate epic failures.

but if for whatever reason you feel you MUST go... at least brown bag yourself... <_<

  2. Having watched the Bills since moving to Western New York in1966 I’ve seen the good, the bad, and way too much of the ugly. I’d been told the Bills were a pretty good football team before I became a fan so I thought that maybe their downslide in the late 60s was my fault. I had season tickets when the Bills played in the Rockpile and can remember a group of fans in front of me that had bought a season ticket for their beer keg. After suffering through the end of the 60s I could see why they bought the extra ticket. I was there when the Bills won their only game in 1968, but then I was given hope when the Bills drafted O.J. Simpson and it was fun to see them competitive for some years.

I stayed a fan through the 70s even though the Bills never managed to beat Miami through those years. I can remember the “roughing the official” call during one of those games in Miami and like some other fans I was beginning to think that the NFL had it in for Buffalo. I watched the Bills finally beat the Dolphins in 1980 and after a few bad years was treated to a Bills team that was truly a Championship team. Since the Marv Levy era it’s been mostly downhill and as I got older I became much more unforgiving of the bad play and coaching over the past several years.

I was still a Bills fan when I moved from Western New York a few years ago and I was able to watch the Bills over the last few seasons through the NFL Package. This is an expense I can no longer justify after this year. It’s not a rewarding past time to watch this team play worse every game instead of better. I was hoping that with Juaron entering his third year this season the team would start showing itself to be on the right track, and that seemed to be the case after the first six games this year. Unfortunately the Bills have regressed instead of progressing and I don’t see anything but another many “rebuilding” years ahead of them.

My patience with the Bills ended in their loss to the Jets last Sunday. I’m at the point where I don’t care if it’s the owners fault, the coaches fault, or the players fault anymore. I just want them to be competitive, and they’re not. I will say one thing about the game last Sunday – if Jim Kelly had been quarterbacking this team and the coaches had called for a pass at that point in the game where the Bills were ahead with a little more than two minutes to go he would have laughed in their faces and ran the ball!

To be honest I’m also disgusted with the NFL and the many terrible calls that have gotten worse this year. The large market cities roll along year after year and somehow put teams on the field that are usually decent to watch. The wealthy owners who really want to win will circumvent the salary cap by hiring the best coaches and front office personnel available and this shows on the field.

So now the Bills can loose to Denver and hand them their Divisional Championship and then play their last game this year at home against a New England team they haven’t beaten since 2003. I really am getting too old to watch this team find any more ways to loose.

if it makes you feel any better, im 25 and all i know following this team is epic failures and soul crushing heartbreak after heartbreak. this team is going to lose its fan base.

  3. if the bills think he will become a probowl C they better draft him.

I HATE the concept of a "reach" you pick the best guy available for a position of need. who the helll cares where mel kipers says the guy should be drafted. who holds the alleged draft experts accountable 3 years after their mocks? If they were that good at evaluating talent they would be working for a team somewhere. ever go back and look at old mock drafts 2,3,4 years after the fact? some of their picks are horrible but no one holds them accountable and fans base their opinions on some knee jerk reaction from a worthless talking head.
