This team is what the Quarterback play is. The Quarterback played well in seven wins, the Quarterback played bad in eight losses. The Defense was terrible in the Arizona game, second half of the first Dolphins and Jets game, and could not get off the field against the Patriots. Because Bill Walsh said Edwards will be great, nothing will be done with Edwards. Therefore, the first four picks in the draft will be defensive players, along with at least one good defensive free agent pickup.

But that would leave most with nothing to say!

I like the team we have, albeit I believe we are a couple players short. We only lost a couple games this year that was not a result of bad Quarterback play and lost three games by bad play calling. I do not want to start over and wait another three years to have hope again. I am not a Trent Edwards fan, not since I witnessed the arm strength in Cleveland last year, However, I like most everyone else bit the first four games this year. We just have to have hope that he gets over his brain freeze, stage fright, whatever it is and gets back to managing the game and give us a chance. Just like Trish, the last woman I really loved, Bill Polian is not comimg back. I got over Trish, you people need to get over Polian. I want to be with Mila Kunis, that isn't going to happen, and Bill Cower coaching and GM of the Bills is not going to happen either.

Six of our Eight losses this year are the result of poor Quarterback play. The OL was not the problem running the ball earlier in the year, it was in fact a vanilla scheme, telegraphing the play. Eight in the box daring the QB to beat them, five of the first six that happened, only once since. If Edwards could be what Bill Walsh promised he would be, then this team is 12-4 next year. Provided of course Ellison's replacement is an impact player, for ellison is THE WEAKEST LINK

I recall being on the losing end of 4 Superbowls running a 3/4 defense. No Thank You, I wish to take my chances with 4 down lineman....

After years of just reading here, finding that at some point someone says what I am thinking anyway. So I shall now break my silence albeit at the end of a thread that has run it's course and my voice will probably not be heard anyway. Coaching: D- if not for the good start F, But I will give Dick another year, I just do not feel like starting over. QB- F I will give Edwards another year, but he has been no better than JP except for the SD game, they have both sucked, and I do not feel Edwards has the arm strength for the Buffalo weather. OL - I can live with them for another year TE - I think Fine will be a surprise next year. WR- Steve Johnson will emerge next year, we are ok there DE - Schobel is fine but becoming long of tooth next year, Denny and Kelsey good in relief, top free agent and 2nd round draft pick here DT- Go with what we got, they are ok, Free agent 3rd round depth here OLB- Mitchell Ok for now - Ellison nothing more than a special teams player Here is where are Number one Pick Goes ILb - Poz will be OK SS- I can live with what we have FS- I can live with what we have Bad play calling and poor Quarterback Play is what shot down this season! We are an impact OLB and good Quarterback Play away from being a Superbowl competitive team . This team does not suck as a whole, and I am in no mood to bust them up and wait another three years to start a new season off with true hope.
