I thought the show really crossed the line into absurdity in Season 7, episodes 5 and 6. The whole pretense of having a group of major characters go North of the wall to face the army of the dead and capture a specimen.... without any sort of plan, equipment, horses, etc was awful. All to show it to Cersei (who had zero military) for an unnecessary cease fire, which anyone could have guessed Cersei wouldnt honor anyways. The chains thing was just icing on the top.
This so much, I hated the idea and it got them literally nothing except down 1 Dragon and some more deaths. Was pointless.
I kept thinking "but why" when they had the idea and it never left me as they continued on. I think the show runners needed a way to get Cersei and the rest of the main players in the same spot for a sit down and this is the best they could come up with..

We need to get with the times and grab a TE early. Hock is my guy at 9 but I don't think we take him unfortunately.
The guy has great hands and is a stud blocker who never has to come off the field.

I like Hock a lot, but for what it's worth, Noah Fant had TWICE as many receiving touchdowns over the last two seasons as Hock. Hock -- 9. Fant -- 18 (!).
True but in 2018, our most reason sample season, Fant had 1 more TD (7 to 6), 10 less catches, and 241 less yards than Hockenson.
I prefer the guy who never has to come off the field. Hock!

Completely agree. Shady is the only back that can make people miss on this roster. I don’t understand the folks on this board and the anti McCoy sentiment. The o-line was garbage last year and Beane finally is rebuilding it.
I don't understand the Yeldon signing. They have ten picks. They could have found a cheaper younger pass catching RB in the middle of the draft.
Chris Ivory ran better behind the same o line. McCoy is a behind the line dancer at this point.

Greatest GM of all time! It's not even close.

Trading up for a DL in a DL heavy draft would be completely stupid. No way
But very Billsy.

Such a miserable Franchise.

The only thing with any value these days are numbered rookies, silver/chrome rookies, or limited autos/memorabilia cards.
Inserts are pretty much worthless. And base memorabilia is for the most part as well.

Did you even read the OP? Really though, I don't think you can read the OP and then type these words thinking that it is at all responsive.
I'm not knocking the OP but that analysis is extremely subjective still. Albeit a good effort.

Lol. Fire post. "I'm going to ignore the mountain of statistical evidence and accompanying analysis, and instead go with my gut on this."
Its the literal equivelant of "The earth is flat, any one with eyes can see the earth is flat."
Stats don't equal accuracy. I don't even think completion % tells the story. Allen threw a lot of bad balls this year. You are a blind homer.
And I still like Allen as a QB prospect, he just has a long way to go. He needs to improve his footwork and be more consistent with his throwing.

It certainly gets tiring watching teams bang threes vs our zone all game long. I just want to see man to man once in a while to make teams earn it. We got some good athletes..
I'll never understand Boeheim's obsession with it. Let it be your base D but switch out of it from time to time. Baylor did and it worked in the 2nd half.
-
Yes, he was inaccurate this season. Allen has a long way to go to improve his accuracy. Anyone that says otherwise is just in denial. Just watch the games..
I still think he can improve and be a solid QB though. A better O-line and having more options in the passing game will also help.

We get spanked by the Zags in the 2nd game..

Why the heck would they give ROR a tribute video? He was one of our better players during the tank seasons? He left on bad terms too basically forcing a trade. A welcome back would suffice and that was fine.
-
I love Hock but I don't think I take him at 9... Trade back then yes I would grab him at like 15th.
I think we take the best defensive prospect that falls to us. Possibly a tackle...
But D line or Tackle is my bet.

If they wanted to tank, wouldn't they have just kept Tannehill? Cuz...well....he sucks and they know it.
He sucks but more of the win 6 or 7 games type of suck. Not the tank suck they are looking for this season.

well guaranteed 2 more wins in the divisions so looks like 4-2 at least in the division! great move for titans they might be moving from marcus.
But Tannehill sucks too?

he's not remotely closed to the all-around game LeBron brought from day one
that's nice he bounces around all the farm-fed kids out there, the pros is another matter to DOMINATE in...
as noted earlier, looks like another Sir Charles, but he was totally gifted going to the top-tier Sixers with Doc and Moses to ease into the pro grind.
Big Red went 21 for 22 with dunks forbidden in an NCAA Title Game
He's more of a finisher than a ball distributor that Lebron is but that is fine.
But make no mistake, this guy will dominate the next level. I think he can have a Blake Griffin type rookie season.. 20 and 10 right off the bat. People forget how good he was early on in his career... And if he develops a shot, then watch out.
He'll have tougher match-ups in the pros for sure but this guy is a freak of nature. He has perimeter speed and quickness vs any bigger bodies and the muscle to destroy anyone near the basket if teams try to use speed against him. His toughest match-up will be Giannis who has the size and speed to match him. And Giannis himself is a one of a kind type player too.
-
Zion will dominate in the NBA as well... He's a Lebron level athlete with a slightly different game. If he gets a shot, he will be an all time great.

We aren’t in a position to look down on or feel bad for any fan base or franchise. Bills haven’t won a playoff game in 25 years and have been to the playoffs once in 20 years.
So much this... Do Dolphins fans feel bad for us?

Then why are they letting him go and why is he taking 9 mil when players like Funchess are getting more?
His production trailed off with Flacco. The fans, local radio, all talked about him fizzling. Nothing to do with Jackson.
And I’m on my phone. Is that a key pad?
He had 7 REC for 134 and 1 TD in the 2nd to last game he played with Flacco. What are you on about? You are clueless and should stop posting.

I've come around on this guy. If he stays healthy he is going to be a stud. Seems like a drama free WR too which is rare, process loves that.
