The amount of reps the offense got in the preseason is a serious issue, Imo. The redskins game really surprised me. Tyrod had a total of 5 passing attempts and was pulled. Kirk Cousins got 23 attempts and played into the third quarter. Historically the 3rd game is when you see the most playing time. Shady didnt play and tyrod got 5 reps and sammy was still on bench. This offense played about a total of 2 quarters this entire preseason. It showed. Thats on the coaching staff.

The Jets' vaunted defense gave up well over 400yds today, at home.

Ravens have a super bowl winning coach, super bowl mvp QB, and have historically been really good at home (compound that by making it their season opener). We lost by 6 points. No, you're not overreacting at all. You're being completely rational. Yes, we better play much better on offense. And we will.

I sometimes wonder how people that lose their minds after today's loss cope with life in general.

Its week 1. The offense is basically the same corp group from last season, and they were pretty decent. Yeh they looked bad today. They looked like an offense that barely played in preseason. The defense looked pretty good, considering the personnel loss. We werent favored. It was anticipated to be a close game and it was a close game. Move on to the Jets.

People are completely bipolar on here, jumping off the deep end. We lost a close game on the road. It was an evenly matched game for the most part. We werent favored going into this game so it wasnt an upset. So why is the sky falling?

I thought that when he had time in the pocket he was pretty good. The offensive line was brutal today. Tyrod was not accurate on some running throws. Overall the offense lacked rhythm the entire game minus one drive. Not seeing a single deep ball attempt was odd. Good news is that the entire afc east may go winless today.

Just curious, why do you think that? They are solid all-around with no major weakness. They aren't flashy on offense, but they play smart and don't make too many mistakes. Despite losing Houston, the defense is still very formidable. At least 10-6 seems like a lock for the Chiefs, IMO.

Best case 10-6; worst case 6-10. Ultimate result: 8-8. Usual things will happen to us: 1. Key injuries and lack of depth will hurt us. 2. We'll be in several close games where we can't make the key play. 3. We'll have a couple of surprise victories. 4. We'll have a couple of boneheaded losses. I'm still psyched though!

Yeh it's a lot. But who expects Shaun Hill to last 16 games. The prospect of going half the season with a 3rd string QB probably scared the crap out of the vikes FO. Im just curious as to how many teams the Vikes called bc a 1st and conditional 4th that could go even higher is a lot. Or did they have their sights on Bradford? Not on our end, but I think Tyrod was drafted in the 6th round, like 180th pick (pretty darn close to 7th round).

I get what you're saying, but what I don't get is why the outrage as if this hasn't been done before. Have you been to Bank of America Stadium? It LITERALLY looks like you're entering a BofA branch and the entire stadium looks like a giant ATM.
