I read another report that Johnson dropped a "good amount" of balls in individual drills and Easly had a bad day - "dropped possibly half" balls thrown his way. Did you see this?
I was not impressed with Easley. He didn't seem to care whether he caught it or not. Stevie was full-go the whole practice. I only saw Stevie drop one pass (underthrown by Fitz). I'd say dropping a "good amount" of balls is false unless I missed it (which I'm 99.9% sure I didn't). Stevie looked like a vet. He seemed to lead the receivers along with Lee. I noticed Roscoe playing a large role in the practice as well, but he did not lead like Stevie.

I still like Brohm and think he has a lot of potential, however, like I have always said I will fully support Trent if Chan figures out how to mold him into a good QB. I have not been impressed with him at all and the fact that he looks good in camp is getting old too. If he can come out and lead our offense to points in the preseason I will start holding out hope again, but just looking good in practice is something I have heard often with him just to see it not translate to the games.
Every year we hear how good he looks and how the offense looks dangerous during practice (same with Roscoe). Then the season starts and all of a sudden we frequently have drives that consist of a 2 yard run, and two complete passes for 6 yards for a 3 and out punt on 4th and 2. End of game stats has Trent completing 70% of his passes but he still only has 160 yards (with only 5 total targets to our WR's all game), maybe 1 TD, a fumble, and a pick, all of which leads to a 24-13 loss.
So, if Trent can turn it around and figure out how to command a game and lead this team under Chan, then great, but I need to see it in a game before I will believe it. All I want is a good QB, I dont care who it is. I dont have a lot of faith in Trents moxy to pull this off, but hopefully Chan can bring it out of him or one of our other guys.
I agree, Alpha. I believe that a lot of what we'll see from Trent will be a direct result of what Chan does. I can only imagine Trent will improve because Chan will teach him, and bring him confidence.

Thanks Word, interesting what you said about Troup. Did you by any chance get to see how Kyle Williams looked at NT?
Williams and Troup look to be about the same size. Maybe it's just me, but I see Kyle as a DE more than a NT. Lonnie Harvey has the look of a traditional NT, but he is clearly sloppy. My guess is that K Williams will have good enough technique to start at NT a little undersized, and Troup will rotate with him.
-
Maybin is ripped, it's just not good for the position he plays.
Agreed. He's lean! He's not the size we need him to be though. He really got manhandled today. Meredith, Green, and DBell all took turns putting him on his ass... literally.
-
Really? How many first round picks get cut after their second training camp?
"Done" doesn't mean he'll get cut. I think he was done the day we drafted him. He's a pompiss, undersized, arrogant child. I wish his heart was half the size of his mouth.

I like him because he has cool hair.
he shaved it last year

Trent Edwards looked like a leader out there. I think he deserved the nod for #1.
It might be time for all of the "brohmies" to move on. Chan seems unimpressed. Levi got more reps today than Brohm, although Brohm was declared a rotating #2.
Chan Gailey has brought a sense of toughness and discipline to camp.
Aaron god damn Maybin looks like he weighs 190 pounds!! Skinny is the word actually. He was thrown on his a$$ a few times during one on ones. On a similar note, Stroud is noticeably slimmer and Dwan Edwards looks to be in good shape.
Alex Carrington looks like a monster! I can't get over it. I can't wait to see him play.
Troup looks slightly small for a NT, but we'll have to see if he plays bigger.
Stevie Johnson looked polished. I expect him to be the #2 based on Chan's comments and the way he looks out there.
Marshawn can find a way to make standing still look difficult.
All of the safeties look like Mr. Clean.
The lack of depth at OL stood out. Aside from Eric Wood and Andy Levitre, nobody looked like a starting OLineman in 1 on 1 drills.
Poz looks like a monster. He looks like he cut up but kept the muscle.
I can't wait to see CJ!

I want:
Trent
Brohm
Brown
Fitz is just a waste of money and reps

ROBERT ROYAL!!!!!! SUCKKKKKKED

Ease up Byrd - Darthy is a broken record and lives to hate on TE. But there's no need to F'bomb him. Think how much fun it'll be reading his posts if TE starts to excel.
I know, I shouldn't F bomb him. I apologize for that, but DARTH has to be the worst poster on this board. He contributes the same comment to every single thread. Even if Trent miraculously becomes the next Peyton Manning, he'll say he sucks. Hey DARTH, if you see me at training camp (dark hair, about 5'9", poz jersey) come up to me so that I can B word slap you. A B word slap for a B word. JK... kind of.
Much love to the rest of TBD!

3 if Brohm is the answer or we draft a QB next year. For every year we keep the **** we have at QB and keep failing to address it, then that is another year we keep putting off getting back into contention.
STFU WITH THE QUARTERBACK TALK! you are the worst broken record of all time! seriously, STFU!
-
Yeah the switch is why we have sucked
oh my god, darth! this is the first thing you have ever posted that didn't directly mention Trent Edwards! Congrats!!!

Born in Rochester in 1990. My dad taught me everything there is to know about the Bills. I haven't missed a game in my entire life. My earliest memories were watching Kelly, Thurman, Bruce, Tasker, Reed, Talley, and the gang. Attended UB '08. Transferred to SUNY Oswego and still live in Rochester (Ontario, NY)

I think Sal is too pessimistic.
Same. It gets old.

There's nothing to see here. keep walkin

linky no worky

That's great. After seeing him get his leg snapped last fall, I wondered if he would ever play again..
No way! You are probably the only one who felt that way
-
He doesn't, but he visits a lot of the other players who do.
Which players live near you? Ever have any encounters with any of them?
-
If you watched the games, do you really need some outside statistic to help you gauge Poz's value?
You're right. I don't need these stats to tell me he's good. I already know he is.

I think that Brohm will surprise everyone and get the nod. He has defiantly the biggest prospect coming out of college and seems to be the hardest working QB in the off-season so far.
and how exactly do you know who "the hardest working QB in the offseason" is???
-
People are prematurely jumping on the Jets bandwagon. I don't know where their offense is coming from. Sanchez isn't a world beater and Woodhead might be their best RB- not saying he isn't going to be good, but he hasn't had too many carries yet.
agreed. does everyone not remember them sneaking into the playoffs after a mediocre year?
the jets are overrated, idc who they added in the offseason
-
Remember the intense training camp battle between him and some other guy to see who would be deactivated for most games during the season and who would get cut?
That was awesome.
+1

Wow every single one? Damn I guess they tell you one thing then me something else. Trent sucks, get a !@#$ing clue and get past the man crush on him already. Time to find another QB hopefully the anti Trentitive.
Hahaha yeah, because people on this board say "oh my gosh darth! Your 2000 posts that all say the same thing are so riveting!! The stadium wall can't live without you saying trent Edwards is a kitty in every single thread whether it has to do with qb's or not!"
get a grip darth. Actually, try to go a whole day without making a comment about the quarterback position. Betcha cant

Posts like this are the reason why you have zero credibility and why everyone on this forum thinks you are really dumb.

There was a very small crowd today. I think Buddy has a master plan that is finally intelligent. He's not trying to go get it all at once. I think he's hoping to field a .500 team this year, maybe a 10 win team next year, and a superbowl contending team in his 3rd year. I can really see that happening because I think he's making well thought out decisions, and I think Chan is a good coach. Thoughts?
