  1. It was not for you to violate the rules and express your opinion, bro. It was a forum to ask questions, plain and simple. I know you understand this by now. You're just being obstinate and defensive at this point because it's easier and comes more naturally to you than doing the right thing.

i think he did ask a question 1. was to ask somebody over at espn to stfu, and i believe he may have asked him to let espn know that markets outside of ny, boston, and miami or whatever city feel left out, and dont care for their garbage

  2. the best part of all of this is we have something to talk about on the board during the slow time. this is much better than reading more anti- insert player, coach, or management, that we have been hearing about since february

  3. I think it's been discussed here, but basically the issue is that he gets paid to put up with peoples' crap on ESPN chats, he does TSW for free. I think most people will put up with a lot more crap at their jobs than they will when they're providing a free service. I mean, if you were volunteering at a soup kitchen, and all the homeless people were telling you your company sucked and co-workers were idiots, you'd probably look at it differently than when your clients are giving you a hard time at work.

so if you where a chef, and cooked dinner for your family every night its not ok for them not to like the food? or is this one of those we are the homeless and TG is holier than thou and doing us such a favor that we must just nod our heads at whatever he says.

just as we are capable of ignoring situations or posts on this board, TG is too. I am glad that he gave a promise ring to his bestie at ESPN I thought that was cute. He had the option to read and move on, not respond, and none of this would have happend. Or is it ok for him to comment about others and what they have to say, just not the other way around

  4. Why is it Tim's job to take abuse regarding complaints against his employer? Be a grown up and contact ESPN yourself.... Tim is not the complaints department

Correct! So there is no reason for him to get upset over it, at least not this upset. It was two posts from Leo and TG through a school girl hissy fit. People are posting that Leonidas showed up to church drunk with no pants on, when infact he made some matter of fact points, using everyday language, on an INTERNET MESSAGE BOARD. Maybe next time some of us type messages to TG they will take down their avatars of young girls in scantally clad clothing. After all Lori and the other women on here dont come here for that, its not their job to look at that.

TG was doing us a favor, but he was also doing personal advertising, by coming on here he keeps himself relevant in the Buffalo market, with his not so favorable NE point of view. His presence on here was just as self serving as it was a service to us.

With that said I enjoyed his insights from time to time, and will miss checking up on it.

  5. I read the last couple pages of that thread. Boy did TG get his panties in a bunch. That seemed to be honest criticism about ESPN playing to a handful of markets and neglecting the rest of the sport cities. so what he said stfu, maybe not the most polite thing in the entire world, but this is also not the most formal setting, note the naked woman avatars, cartoon heads, and explitives. Leonidas was fine Tim needs to grow a pair.

  6. the problem with the OL is that nobody respects the QB the offense enough to make a play. Send the house because the ball wont be more than 5-8 yrds off the line anyways. TE decision making, or possibly the scheme/playbook has been our biggest woe on that side of the ball. You cant make a judgement on the OL untill you get teams to respect you as a threat.

Not saying the line is great, we just seem to be shooting ourselves in teh foot with it is all.

  7. So Rapelsburger raped or tried to rape 3 to 4 know women, and we do not have a clue how many did not speak up, But the decision to not bring him in is only because Ralph Wilson is Cheap? We had the 12 highest paid team in the league did Ralph get what he paid for ?

numbers suggest that rape reported to the police is actually 1/6th of that which occur(ie 1 in 6 reported). I am not saying Ben tried to rape 20 women, but the chances are, it is more then what is being claimed. rapists/ sex offenders rarely/if ever/boarderline line commit just once. Almost all are serial, and are fed by the need to overpower another person/woman, not sexual in the least.

so does Big Ben seem like a guy who is consumed with power, and exerting it over others.

i dont know how i went off on a rape lecture whoops

  8. IF the Bills were to trade for Big Ben, an unlikely, potential problem could occur. Assuming he is out 5 games, it would mean one of the 3 headed hydra (TE, Fitz, Brohm) would have to start. One could envision a scenario where the Bills start 4-1 or 5-0 (albeit unlikely). If that were to happen, on Ben's return, you will have a serious QB controversy on your hands - Ben - a proven Superbowl winner fresh off suspension on a new team vs. a hot hand who has us winning our division. A controversy like this could be a season killer. My vote for Big Ben is no - not for this unlikely scenario or his talent, but his character is just flawed.

Not a problem, maybe a godsend. Draft a QB(Clausen, Tebow, whatever). Let them sit for a year or two. If TE turns out to be great, awesome, he beats out Ben, insane trade value. If BR is playing at his normal level, then he also has insane trade value. Now over the past 2 years you have been hopefully grooming the next great QB to run your franchise. Trade both TE and Big Ben. Stockpile high draft picks. The very next years draft could be one of the most insane drafts ever.

I know not going to happen. One can dream

  9. just a thought

with a six game suspenstion, he could be much cheaper then his actualy value. trade for him(as much as I dont want to), draft a franchise qb(easier said then done, ie Clausen , or for some Tebow). Let them sit behind Ben for next year and maybe the year after. Let Bens stock soar(hopefully), get way more than we paid back, and our drafted QB learned from him for a year or 2. We would have a stock pile of picks the next year. Thus insuring the Bills journey back to greatness.

  11. That's kind of my point, that these guys APPEAR to stand around waiting for the coach to say, "You're the starter." They APPEAR not to have any fire in the belly. It's as though none of them really believe in their hearts that they're number 1. For example, if Edwards truly believes he's the best on the roster, then he should be acting like that. You don't wait to be appointed "team leader;" you seize the role. That's what leaders do.

And, no, I don't know if any of those 3 guys have reached out to Lynch. But nothing in their individual demeanor suggests the thought would ever cross their mind. "Ees not my yob." They all seem as disengaged from the role of team leader as Rob Johnson did.

sweet. could be a good disney movie. stop with the romanticizing of sport

  12. I was ok with a guy like Vick. I love my dog but I can let that go for sake of good football(not that he is all that good). Ben no way. When a girl yells rape, people need to listen. The accusations I have heard are pretty terrible as far as trapping this girl in the bathroom. If any piece of that is true he should have been charged criminally. Most people dont lie about victimization, and the "blame the victim" attitude in this country is attrotious. Women are never asking to get raped. Legally if she is inebriated, she is unable to give consent, thus making it rape. I do not understand how he is not getting charged. College guys are being expelled and jailed from schools all over the country for having sex with , at the time consenting, drunk females.

While this may be a money grab, and hopefully nothing happend to this poor girl, but I hope Buffalo stays far away, adn the Steelers cut ties.

  13. fred jackson will have another good year next year and then his career is over. running backs dont last that long, he is pushing the wrong side of 30. he did well last year but his employment in the nfl will most likely come to an end pretty soon.

what are guys like shaun alexander and lt up to now?

  14. This doesnt point out anything we do not already know. He is well behind the top tier QBs, he has mediocre numbers. It shows he is better than everybody we already knew he was better than. Hooray he beats Tony Romo, who is over rated, and in a pass hapy offense, tough to have great completion percentage when you take more shots than everybody else with a mediocre qb.

  15. Todd Collins wasnt by anymeans the worst QB signing in franchise history. . He also played and started and won the AFC championship game (I believe the Divisional game as well) when Brad Johnson was hurt.

While he wasnt the greatest, most of us hate him because it was the begining of the end for the franchise. He just wasnt Jim Kelly so everybody got their torches and pitch forks. he was ditched because he wasnt a franchise QB, but more than a servicable back up. With that said I think we have 3 of those kind of QB's on the roster
