  1. Subject: Married Can You Get Married in Heaven? On their way to get married, a young Catholic couple is involved in a fatal car accident. The couple find themselves sitting outside the Pearly Gates waiting for St. Peter to process them into Heaven. While waiting, they begin to wonder: Could they possibly get married in Heaven? When St. Peter showed up, they asked him. St. Peter says, "I don't know. This is the first time anyone has asked. Let me go find out", and he leaves. The couple sat and waited, and waited. Two months passed and the couple is still waiting. As they waited, they discussed that IF they were allowed to get married in Heaven, what was the eternal aspect of it all. "What if it doesn't work?" they wondered, "Are we stuck together FOREVER?" After yet another month, St. Peter finally returns, looking somewhat bedraggled. "Yes," he informs the couple, "you CAN get married in Heaven." "Great!" said the couple, "But we were just wondering, what if things don't work out? Could we also get a divorce in Heaven?" St. Peter, red-faced with anger, slams his clipboard onto the ground. "What's wrong?" asked the frightened couple. "OH, COME ON!" St. Peter shouts, "It took me three months to find a priest up here! Do you have ANY idea how long it'll take me to find a lawyer?"

  7. I had the wanting for elbows and I thought of how funny that thread was so I put the water on. I couldn't remember what went in the B/F recipe so I cooked the elbows - drained then added butter and fried them with bread crumbs and assorted cheeses. Mary asked if it was poorman's Mac and cheese but I have to admit the fried crunch was good. I would never add pickle juice. I know it is the authentic because I was done and eating in 25 mins from start to finish. Water must boil faster in NY.
  8. You better take pictures. I didn't do that because of the tailgate.

  20. Signed his nice new black NIKE turf shoes and tossed them into the autograph gang. I felt sorry for the kid about 10 who had it bounce off his hands and back to JP for another toss. Many go for the practice but the kids go mostly for the autographs and to see or talk to a player. There was no organized autograph session again last night before or after. Tasker was doing an interview for channel 13. When he was done I asked him to come out and sign about 6 autographs. That was about how many people were standing by me. WOOSH I think he got stuck signing over 100. As he kept giving me his evil eye I told him to call out a number and I would count it down for him like 10 more 9 - 8 but he stood there and signed until everyone got one. I retreated to my seat to try and be good for the rest of the night.
  21. In the town that he was killed Take an ad in the paper for a person to research it or the local historian Library workers can do the newspaper searches. If you offer a reward for information it will get the ball rolling and you would be surprised the hours a regular person will but in for $50 to $100. Some of our retired people love the challenge.
