  1. If it were me, I would be looking at drafting my LT in round 1 and moving D.Bell to RT. I think Bell is much more suited to play RT than LT. I just don't think he has the strength or the quickness to match up to the elite ends that will be rushing.
  2. Given the OP's scenario, how are we making more holes? We would be trading Evans for Marshall, hole filled, and trading or releasing Schoebel. Trade we get a pick or a player to fill that void, release and it frees up money to sign somebody. I fail to understand how that creates holes. Evans and Schoebel are both decent players. IMO they can be replaced though. Schoebel is on the downside of his career and besides Evan's one good year, hasn't done much. As much as a QB can make a receiver I think that goes the other way around also. Also something to consider, why was JP the only one to develop that "chemistry" with LE? Maybe I am overlooking something here, but TE never really clicked good with him or Owens, went to his RB's a lot. Fitzy appeared to gel well with TO. Just kinda makes me wonder. I know you guys are going to say that TE was a check down machine and all, but he had the same offense as Fitz, but still chose to go to his RB. There are a lot of reasons that could be said for TE's timidness of going down field, but if you have that connection with your receivers, then your going to take the chance, something TE never did. Neither did Fitz with LE. Just my thoughts.
  3. I think he was referring to a team that has yet to win the Lombardi. And by saying we "ticked another one of the list" we kind of did. Because it wasn't our team that was in there, playing for the trophy. Round about sort of way.
  4. I will say this much, the guy has some balls (no pun intended) to go on national TV, much less the weather and make a statement like that. I would be curious to find out what the ramifications of his actions were. Either way, I thought it was pretty funny.
  5. If by sac, you mean temps in the single digits, wind chills well below zero, and chains on my tires, then yeah, I guess I don't have the "sac" as you like to call it. I will be on the beach in feb working on my tan while your still shoveling your driveway. So, what is the weather up there like today? Buffalo Currently: 27°F Partly Cloudy 28°F | 20°F Daytona Currently: 70°F Mostly Cloudy 70°F | 61°F Glad I don't have a "sac" LMAO
  6. I live in Daytona Beach, never been to Buffalo but I am a die hard Bills fan since I was about 8 yrs old. Judging from the games on TV, and the way people on TSW talk about the winters up there, I wouldn't want to live there either.
  7. The reason for drafting him in the first round is that he has first round talent. We could wait and develop third round talent as we did with Trent, or where JP should have been drafted. Granted there are exceptions to that logic, ie Tom Brady. But those finds are few and far between. We do need to get a top flight QB that we can mold for the future. That way when our line gels over the course of two to three years then our 1st round talent comes in and plays like 1st round talent, standing up because he has a good line to protect him. JMO
  8. So what happens in a couple years if Buddy has turned the organization around and we are winning and looking like a respectable team again. Don't crucify the man before he has been given a chance. I understand as well as anyone that it has become commonplace to discount the "new regime" given our previous track record. However at the same time, Buddy is coming out and showing us a bit of a different attitude, one that we are not used to seeing. I am by no means saying that he will succeed at this level, I am just not gonna lose all hope in his vision before I have even had a chance to see it.
  9. I Like the way that most people on the TSW claim they want the team to have an attitude and how it all starts from the top. Well, now the attitude is starting from the top and all of a sudden we aren't happy with it? I think it shows the players and coaches that he isn't going to take any BS. I personally like the attitude that he is displaying and it is a nice change of pace from the whole "let's have class" and "we don't want to offend anyone" approach. If Nix is a good leader then everyone else will follow. Hopefully we will see some fire from this team that we haven't seen in a long time.
  10. Funny how everyone couldn't stand the guy for giving Trent (IIRC) the shot to the knee. Now he is possibly going to be up for grabs and all the man love is beginning. I think what it really boils down to is that we as Bills fans were jealous in the fact that we didn't have someone as nasty(and I mean that from an attitude stand point) as Wilfork and we were looking to go for the jugular. JMO.
  11. That's great. Tell you russian associate I said Hi. LMAO!!!
  12. If we wanted Jets updates we would go read about the Jets. Take your Jets updates somewhere else and leave it be. HAGD!
  13. I hope this is true for the sake of the team and the fans. I wonder if pride plays a factor in a new HC determining if he will sign with us. The pride of knowing you could turn around a team like the Bill's would be a great accomplishment. Go get him Ralph.
