  1. I would like to see them draft Gresham for TE. (After hopefully shoring the DL through FA)
  2. I agree with the guy who said the Bills should overhaul the existing stadium much like Soldier Field. The problem is, it would take more than a Buffalo winter and a summer. I would sacrifice a half or full season in Toronto if I knew the Bills were in Buffalo to stay once the "new stadium" were built. As far as building a brand new stadium in Niagara Falls.... Unions would see to it that it would never happen
  3. I think they are best served picking up the best available DL in free agency. Their draft options sitting at #11 (whether you draft or trade down) look much, much better if they arent forced to draft the best available DE. I dont think any of these DE's in the draft are the answer. It will cost huge bucks, but it sounded like Ralph was willing to spend in FA. Could you imagine our line with Haynesworth and Stroud in the middle. Speaking of Stroud, I sense he really likes it here and will be a good ambassador to lure someone here. If the DL is shored up via FA. You pick Curry or Oher at 11 if available. If not you trade down. If the scouts are hell bent on getting Alex Mack, take him. If not, TE Gresham. There are 2-3 other good C's to be had in Round 2. So I guess, Im roundaboutly saying I would like Gresham
  4. what I remember from Kelly's last season (or 2) was almost zero pass protection. If we go back in time and get him the protection, he would have been able to succeed a few more years.
  5. I dont want a new stadium. I guarantee we will be reminiscing and longing for the old days in RWS. It totally changes and ruins the gameday experience. I have friends who are Pats fans who wont even go to games anymore
  6. I got sick of comcast, got directv and couldnt be happier. when I move back to Buffalo Time Warner will not see one cent out of me.
  7. I think everyone also underestimates the NFL's ripeness for expansion (once the economy straightens out. Thinking about it, Im not sure if its in the NFL's interest to blow off a popular region to move to LA. I guess Toronto remains our biggest threat because theoretically its in the same region. However, I dont think it would be far-fetched to see expansion teams in Toronto and LA. I dont believe a team in Toronto would suffocate the Bills franchise.
  8. I agree, but I will feel better if part ownership is obtained by a billionaire who wants to move a portable team to Los Angeles. If and when the time comes, there will be no need to look at Buffalo.
  9. you would think that people there are pumped beyond belief to host a playoff game. The Ralph would be rocking.
  10. LA is one of our adversaries in keeping the Bills here. With LA off the relocation radar, the Bills are considerably more safe. I dont see the league hurrying back to Oakland if they are gone (and Al Davis is too). http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3809431
  11. that away schedule seems brutal
  12. id be upset... but there really hasnt been any reason they should give the Bills respect. I cant blame the overconfidence
  13. so the Jets need to win AND Baltimore OR New England loses New England needs to win AND Miami OR Baltimore loses
  14. who gets 6th seed in scenario #4 if the Jets win? Miami or Baltimore
  15. currently the Fins are 10-5 and the Jets are 9-6 A tie would maintain Miami's standing over the jets
  16. Denney has way more TD receptions than Bruce Smith
  17. looks like the Patriots have just been able to mold their team around Cassel now. They look scary. Kind of supports my longtime suspicion that the Pats success is about 5% Brady and 95% organization/system. Despite what you hear (99% Brady)
  18. haha. no. it was late last night/morning when I saw the thread. I gazed over #23 Beast Mode at the end of the title and my brain automatically assumed it was a contest put on by a poster of that name or something. I just started posting here regularly, so I never saw the contest before. I guess Im still proud that I meant the team total and guessed right head-on.
  19. Pats win, Dolphins lose Dolphins win, Pats win, Baltimore loses (i believe thats the case). I am almost hoping that NE gets in and wins a playoff game or 2. That could cause some indecision and turmoil once Brady comes back and he stumbles just a little.
  20. its nice to see Edwards show something in December, in the cold, in a very hostile atmosphere. Some various really good things from very young players. I feel a lot better than i did at and before about 2:15 PM today.
  21. oh... Its by Lynch only? I didnt realize that. I still wouldnt have guessed 34 yards.
  22. wow. I was the closest? Nice. Glad my 'vegas' pick for this game wasnt as accurate.
  23. i started out the game not caring and hoping they would lose. But when the Bills climbed back into it, I was 100% on board.
  24. Bills vs. West: 6-2 (AFC West 4-0) vs. Rest of league: 1-7
  25. i dont know whether to be happy, hopeful, or more furious
