  1. I'm sorry if I missed someone else making this observation: did anyone else feel that Walt was beaming with pride at the end? Not just with what he had "accomplished," but also that his student had learned so well. Or maybe the pride a father has for his son? That's how I interpreted it, anyway.
  2. Actually, the lookout was the first to get mowed down.
  3. I love this show and will miss it immensely. While I miss many of the nuances that many of you pick up on, it's still very entertaining. That said, I'm pretty critical when watching TV shows and movies and there's a couple recent things that have bothered me. Things that seem below what I've come to expect from the show. 1) I may not be aware of their existence, but are there phones that you can just pick up and access the owner's voicemail? It seems like they took an easy way out to make things work in the story. 2) with all the lead in the air, it's just impossible that hank and gomey are still alive. Reminds me of the A team. And while I liked the A team when I was a kid, it lacked realism at times (like always). That's all. Love the show!
  4. It's been a while since I calculated a %, so I apologize if I'm wrong, but aren't your calculations a little off? I think you may have reversed the numerator and the denominator.
  5. And what % of wildcat plays resulted in 1st down and how does does that compare to the 1st down % of traditional plays. I believe the wildcat % will be significantly better. If so, it could be argued that , as used by Buffalo, the wildcat is an effective tool.
  6. What was our yards per run out of the wildcad vs. out of a traditional formation? I don't know the answer, but is it possible it was better out of the wildcat? IIRC we picked up a lot of first downs in short yardage situations. Even if the YPR was worse out of the wildcat, perhaps that split second of defensive indecision buys us the opportunity to get those tougher yards is short yardage situations.
  7. Yes. I would say a couple more times for sure.
  8. I don't know if I was hearing things but it sounded like Tasker got a little emotional after the Owens TD when he was saying how big of a deal it is to beat the Fish. Did anyone else notice this?
  9. I was in section 123 (right next to the tunnel) and there wasn't a play that was run where the whole section wasn't standing...seemed a little odd. People would sit during timeouts and other delays, but stood for every play. I believe it was probably because the people in front were standing and this was the only way to see the action. Is this common in the endzones?
  10. Hi folks. Is it ok if I horn in on this thread a little? If not can someone direct me to a thread that might exist on this topic? I'm bringing a friend in to see a Bisons game on Wednesday and want to go out to a decent bar after the game. Something youthful and energetic would be best but open to other ideas. We're gonna hit the Peart Street Grill before the game. I live out in Chautauqua county so I;m not too aware of the good spots in Buffalo. The bar doesn't have to be right near the stadium--we can drive to it but would like it to be in Buffalo--thinking Chippewa or Allentown but don't really know what's good there. Thanks if you're able to help and even if your not!
