  1. I never said I was a Doctor. I am in Med. School.

But you can believe whatever you want. I will be here laughing, while your flipping burger at Mcdonalds.

If you want I will hire you to cut my lawn.

That's twice now that you've used "your" when you should have used "you're". I fear for your future patients. Or should I have said "patience".

  2. We signed a Wr named Fagg after the draft (I believe he was from Florida). I was just wondering if we have cut him yet or is he still on our roster?? Also what are he reaistic chances of making the final cut?

T.O. might not have liked that. He had a hard time with Jeff Garcia just sounding gay. Imagined what he would have said here. I always loved the fact that Garcia married a Playboy bunny (I'm sure he does, too). He got the laust laugh there.

  3. Since I'm an eternal optimist, I think they were pretty highly regarded when they were 5-1 last year. I remember Buffalo being as high as #4 in some of the weekly power rankings, and a lot of fans were actually thinking first round bye. So the descent into mediocrity came one second after the San Diego game ended. Now that I think of it, wasn't that also the beginning of Miami week, when the rumors of Dick Jauron's extension started to circulate? I supposed you could say that's when the slide started. Either way, I believe it started after the San Diego game.

  4. This was on during lunch today, so I watched it, too. What a beautiful day. Take that, Mike Lupica. Even Dan Dierdorf remarked "what a beautiful day for football in Western NY". I hate when people always have to add "for football" to the end of those weather comments. It was a beautiful day for anything - even flying balloons outside the stadium. I watched Jason Peters closely, and while I'm just a lowly fan, I thought he did a nice job. On their first touchdown drive, he really drove one guy about five yards downfield. But I also think a lot of Buffalo's success that day was because Edwards was on his game. SD had to respect the pass.

  5. Because, in the middle of practice at some point Ralph is gonna yell out "Jarron! Get your lazy ass over here."

Or what about at the team talent show? TO calls out "Jarron get up and sing me a song you worthless piece of crap!"

You see the problem with this?

If Ralph yelled "Jarron get your lazy ass over here", wouldn't it be funny if the head coach thought he was talking to him, and he ran over?

  6. You're thinking waaaaay too highly of Trent Edwards. His play was very bad after the Charger game except when facing the defenseless Chiefs and Broncos. He played Losman-like bad. During JP's worst stretches of play bad. Trent was bad. The Bills should actually be thinking about drafting a raw talented QB with very good potential after the third round. If "The Natural" Trent Edwards continues his downward spiral then the Bills will no doubt have a four or five win season in 2009 and will be drafting a QB within the first five picks of the 2010 draft.

Although you never know with Ralph, he did hand one of the worst coaches in NFL history a three year deal. Trent might as well throw his hat into the renegotiating contract ring.

You know, you just reminded me of that God-awful Monday Night game that Trent had. I think that was worse than JP's worst game ever. Even worse than JP fumbling against the Jets. But wouldn't you know it, as soon as Trent started to look like an NFL quarterback on that last drive, didn't the Bills choose to run it up the middle and go for a long field goal? Can you imagine the post-game comments that TO would have made?

  7. Don't know what Hooterville is?????

Youngsters, stop playing video games and watch some TV- TV Land- Green Acres. Lisa Douglas, Arnold the Pig, Mr. Haney, Does any of it ring a bell?

I thought Hooterville was from "Petticoat Junction", and according to IMBD, it is from that show:

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056780/

It might have been a spin-off of "Green Acres", though, so maybe we're both right. Remember the opening to "Petticoat Junction"? That was when the daughters were bathing in the water tower, and they hung their clothes over the side. Pretty risque stuff for a 60's TV show.

  8. This a interview with Trent Edwards that I watched on the YES/WFAN channel on January 30th. It was recorded in Tampa the Monday before the Superbowl. It's about 19 links down the page.

I used to listen to Mike and the Mad Dog years ago. I grew to dislike Francesa because he seemed to grow more arrogant with each passing day. Now that's he's solo, he seems to have toned it down some. Of course, this is after listening to one two minute clip.

  9. How'd everyone do?

I had Arizona getting 7 points and over 47. After the slow start to the game, I wasn't feeling too good. Then I started to perk up when the Cards came alive later in the second quarter. Then that amazing interception return happened, but that didn't really bother me, because I figured I needed points for the over, anyway. By the middle of the fourth quarter, I had just about given up, until the safety. Then I started running the numbers in my head. The way I saw it, if Arizona could score a TD and make it 23-20, then Pitt would come back and get a field goal to send it in OT, and then I'm guaranteed a winner no matter what. It's really weird rooting for Arizona the entire game, and then for that last drive, I have to root for Pittsburgh like crazy.
