  1. I put down a deposit for four tix to the Seattle game in October, and they said I could get a full refund if I cancel by July 1st.  I don't want to cancel - I just want more information so I can decide which parts of the package I want to include.  But they have gone radio silent.  I got an email from them in late May saying I'd hear something in a few weeks, and now they don't answer the phone and don't respond to emails.  I'm worried I just flushed this deposit down the toilet.  Lesson learned.

  2. I wonder if he's still playing because the Bills are still mathematically alive. Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I was able to get the NY Times playoff calculator to show the Bills in the playoffs. It has the Broncos, Ravens, and Dolphins falling apart for this to happen. That part's OK. The part that I have trouble with is it requires Buffalo to win the last three games. Not happening.

Oh boy, we got a Walt Coleman on the crew!

Rich Hall - from "Not Necessarily The News"! He was funny! #obscureeightiesreference

  4. One thing I do agree with him: his comments on how there are so many flags. He's right! It has gotten to the point that whenever a pass play is over, I wait five seconds to make sure there is no flag. It takes away from the excitement of the game. At least it's not just the Bills getting screwed. St. Louis got screwed with some bad calls last night. It always seems the "good" teams get the benefit of the doubt, but not so much for teams like the Rams and the Bills.

  5. Pegula just cleared ~$1.3B on his recent land sale (beyond selling his company a few years back for several $B). Why does the team need to take on debt if his bid wins?

If your debt costs, say, 7% but you can earn more than 7% by investing it, then I can make a case for financing. Back to the game. Thad looks bad.

  6. To me they are all starting to sound the same. That's too bad. I'm not a big fan of John Murphy either, by the way. I hear too many mistakes. Yesterday I heard him confuse the Redskins with the Bills a few times. Even though I was listening I could tell by the crowd if it was a good play for the 'Skins or not. He couldn't.
