  1. Or maybe he doesn't have the stones to be a HC
  2. Well we tried Billboards so I'm fresh out of ideas
  3. I've got to say he looked beyond pitiful Sunday. One of the sacks (that didn't count because of a Ravens penalty) it actually looked like he just bumped into a lineman and fell because of the pressure.
  4. Quiet before ICE hears you
  5. One thing I don't like is he went to Detroit to turn it around and failed. I know he's not even close to deserving all the blame for it but he is still 0 for 1 in the changing the tide for bad franchises department.
  6. I completely agree. But I think Russ is scared to death of the football part now. He got in over his head and now the hiring of GM is his way of backpedaling. Bottom line I think Russ will go with whatever Buddy wants. Ralph though is a diff story obviously.
  7. Good point, the only thing I'd say in response is Mularkey had a team with the motivation for a playoff birth and still lost whereas Fewell had nothing and won. It doesn't matter though we still suck either way
  8. Well at least he COULD be a team's back ups unlike a certain past coach....just sayin'
  9. Well if they don't want them anymore we'll take Brady and Belechick
  10. I know some will dismiss anyone who's first name isn't Bill but I think we could do a lot worse than this guy. He seems like an anti Dick Jauron meaning he's not afraid to put a foot in the ass of the team. He's not going to be Mr. Players coach. He's an O lineman which makes me think our practices and training camps aren't going to be easy street like with DJ. I want a good tough team and I think he can at least bring the tough element. The good part also depends on Nix and the direction he goes with players. I don't think we're doomed if we hire Grimm. We get a guy that commands the kind of respect he does around the league we may have a shot at some good coordinators. It seems like he may have the leadership thing down from some of the quotes I've read. Plus he's won where he's been, we need a winner.
  11. You know what I do and I'm doin' it. I'm Dr Roxo and I do cocaine!
  12. Yeah but he wasn't even offered an OC position
  13. You have the best avatar on TSW
  14. I think it went both ways. The Bills FO couldn't get it don't bringing a playoff worthy team every year but they were also bad coaches who deserve part of the blame. Just because they are great coordinators/X's and O's guys doesn't mean they're good in the big chair. As one example Mike Mularkey's Bills lost to backups against Pittsburgh with a shot at the playoffs in mind. To me that seems like a team that was ill-prepared and not focused which lands on the HC. JMO.
  15. Are you guys ready to let the dogs out?
  16. Let's throw in some jager too.
  17. Because he needs to lighten up
  18. Don't let the beard fool you....he's a child
  19. Yeah it's a movie quote brotha, lighten up francis
  20. What an insulting analogy. We love our team through ups and downs much like a parent loves their child nomatter what. It doesn't mean I love them as much as a son or daughter but only that I'll never give up on them. The fire I have for this team is because I love football and I love my town. I give a few hundred bucks a year and a few hours on Sunday watching. I'm not going to sit here and let you pretend like my life is completely wrapped around this situation. We all have lives outside of our fandom. I have HOPE that one day the Bills will be the Bills I remember; the team that everyone in football hated because we were so good. Stop looking at hopeful Bills fans like we are idiots or mindless because we take advantage of being one of only 32 cities on Earth that have an NFL franchise. And as the grandson of a WWII Marine...Shut the !@#$ up.
  21. Do you know if this thread is pager friendly? I'm not getting a sig' on my beeper
  22. Well that is one of the qualifications.
  23. I'm done listening to the three headed BS monster that is Schefter Clayton Mort
  24. I think it also may have to do with the idea of an uncapped year and possibly uncapped league going forward. We could potentially be the KC Royals of the NFL and no one of any respectability would want to coach that. It'd be a losing battle.
