I'm sure the dems will find some loophole to overturn his decision just like the Franken fiasco.
I wouldn't call the Minnesota law that automatically mandates a recount in all statewide races where the margin is less than one half of a percent a "loophole".
-
I thought you meant Canseco v. Bonaducci.
-
That bravado disappeared the minute he got down to the sidelines and realized he was in over his own head. You won't seem the same from Ryan. That fire and desire that the Ravens D have, they attribute to him.
Baltimore's D had this same attitude under Marvin Lewis and Mike Nolan as well.

Great drafts-
All drafted or UDFA by Pitt
Big Ben
Willie Parker
Hines Ward
Troy Polamalu
Santonio Holmes
Heath Miller
Casey Hampton
Aaron Smith
James Harrison
Kendall Simmons
Max Starks
Lamar Woodley
The only starter I can think of off hand who wasn't drafted by Pitt is James Farrior.

One Jets fan I know said as long as Ryan bring Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, and Ed Reed along with him they should be okay.
Maybe David Harris can be the Ray Lewis, Calvin Pace can be Terrell Suggs, and Kerry Rhodes can be Ed Reed?
-
Did anyone get a chance to see Rex Ryan's press conference on the NFL Network where he's introduced to the New York Media? What he said was pretty ballsy and will make for great material if he fails, but you gotta respect the determination he has for turning the Jets' fortunes around.
Some of the highlights are here:
http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80e4407b
Among some of the things he said (and I'm paraphrasing so I apologize if I'm not exact):
- The Jets are coming and they're going to give you everything they've got...and you're not going to be able to handle it.
- Made a comment about being a Super Bowl winning team in 2 years when asked by a reporter of "goals"
- If anybody takes a run at one of his guys, his guys will take a run at TWO of yours.
Compare that to Limp Dick's introductory presser with the classic "It's hard to win in the NFL" attitude and you can see why this team is mired in mediocrity 3 years later....
It's good entertainment but who knows how things will play out on the field. Didn't Gregg Williams promise to break the NFL sack record?

Schopp is that you?

He should have practiced the swearing in part a bit more...huh?
Yes he should have...John Roberts that is.

Bad guess.
Read the bottom of this article.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/6222073.html
Gibbs’ goal is similar to Kollar’s.
“Like Bill said, they have a great offense here, and the defense needs to catch up to the offense”, Gibbs said.
In this case it was a knock against the Houston defense and not the Buffalo offense.
-
What exactly did he say about the Bills' offense? The quote in the first post only refers to the Texans offense.
Good grief it's gonna be a long offseason....
He never mentioned the Bills offense.

"I just thought it was a great opportunity to come down to be with an offense like they've got here," said Kollar at his introductory press conference in Houston. "You always want to get to the playoffs and hopefully end up making it to the Super Bowl and I thought this would be a great opportunity.""Coach Jauron had said when we first got there that he wouldn't hold anybody back if it was a move that you really wanted to make and it was nice of him to give me that opportunity," said Kollar. "I know a bunch of the guys here (in Houston). Coach Jauron was great. It was a heck of an opportunity there, but I feel we have a great opportunity here also."My guess is that it's either a typo or Kollar said "offense" when he meant to say "defense". Either way how anyone can interpret ithat as "slapping Buffalo hard" is crazy.
-
The Bush's handled the transfer with class.
-
Sure, continue to dodge the question.
I just heard that Kollar said that he had a good pizza once in Houston. Maybe you should start a thread feigning outrage over this obvious slight against Buffalo.
-
Is any comment about car doors freezing open when they are closed automatically a jab against you?
Well that response is almost as stupid as imagining snubs against the Bills from an outgoing coach whose units have perennially underperformed.
-
Why did we fight Germany then? Japan attacked us, Germany didn't.
Because Germany declared war on us.
-
How is this:
not a slap at every offensive player and coach? Seriously. I didn't edit anything out of the article, he didn't qualify his statement (to my knowledge). To say it is all schemes and plays is downright silly.
Is any compliment he pays to his new employer automatically a jab against the Bills?
-
It's NOT two wars we are fighting! It's one war, the War On Terrorism, fought on two fronts or one war fought on multiple fronts! Even if you do not agree that Iraq is part of the War on Terror, it really is because of The Bush Doctrine which is part of the War on terror.
Another thing, who care about what the fag who made Obama's dress for her thinks about the politics of Obama.
Stupid f-in media!
As stupid as the media is I think they're actually bright enough to understand that you can't declare war on a tactic.

Just some member of footballsfuture.com's mock draft but still entertaining none the less. Seems to have about everybodies team needs pretty well researched. I'd love a mock like this although I'll be honest I've not seen much of Everett Brown.

32. Pittsburgh Steelers - OT Fenuki Tupou/Oregon
Alex Mack is still on the board and we are drafting a TE this draft is not realistic
I just glanced at this thinking it was a first round mock and thought to myself "Jesus this is crazy!". Then I realized it was the 2nd round.

Looks like the wingnuts are handling the transfer of power just as well as I expected them to.

My heavens this is a terrifying development! What if Linda Panetta is used by her chum Hugo Chavez to subvert our intelligence capabilities? There's only one problem though-Leon Edward Panetta and Sylvia Marie Varni don't even have a daughter and Linda Panetta's father is Leonard P. Panetta and her mother is Jocelyne M Panetta . Too bad this fact was lost on the Right Wing Cut-And-Paste-Osphere. This is really too funny!
Obama’s nominee for CIA chief has a daughter who just loves anti-American dictators

I like the Arizona OC, he didn't take any sh-- from both Warner and Boldin.
-
I agree, I hate looking at the title every time I come here. And by the way do "detached observers" write 1,200 word essays on a fan message board?
-
All Leonhard does is make plays. He's always around the ball either getting an INT or picking up a fumble or returning a punt. HE did the same stuff for Buffalo even with our crummy front 7. Not sure why he was not resigned. It is stupid. Clearly he's a difference maker.
Lets not get carried away. In 2007 when Leonhard started 13 games for us he had 2 interceptions, zero forced fumbles, and zero fumble recoveries while the Bills ended the season ranked 29th against the pass.
